This is a stock rom built from the image and binaries from Google repo with a lot of things that I don't use removed. Nothing fancy, just a good light stock reliable ROM. With the franco kernel, this ROM is fast and stable and the battery life is really good.

To install:
-Must be bootloader unlocked and have a custom recovery installed
-Download ROM and place on internal memory of your phone
-Boot to recovery
-Make a nand bu of your existing Rom
-Factory reset 3 times, wipe dalvic, data and cache 3 times
-Flash ROM
-Reboot
If you want Email and Exchange, wait until you have flashed and installed the ROM:
-Download signed_exchange.zip and place on internal memory of your phone
-Boot to recovery
-Flash signed_exchange.zip
-Reboot

Custom Kernels
Do I need to use the kernel that comes with this, or can I load a custom kernel?
you can flash any kernel you like. I just used franco's kernel because It ROCKS! Not to mention rock solid and updated frequently.
Post #5700 of the franco. kernel thread, is instruction laid out on how to revert to stock or I imagine whatever kernel you would like.

What difference does it make where the dev comes from?
So far this ROM is wicked sweet and beautiful...I'm still beta testing it out at the moment and the only thing that I had to do was install the mic swapped version of siyah since the mics were backwards..

Either way great job your kernel is great on my phone I would use dsb kernel but my phone won't boot with that kernel it doesnt like overclock

This ROM is great! I have no idea how it fell so far down the list but it's very impressive.
Would flashing the new Adreno drivers or dsb's kernel make a noticeable difference in any aspect of the ROM's performance? It is so fast already that I'm not sure it's worth the risk of breaking something.
Try dsbs kernel but I wouldn't try doing the adreno drivers. Thank you for the nice comments!!!

Hmmmm....
Quite odd. Do a battery pull, push power and hold vol- til you can get into hboot. Then go into recovery, reflash the rom without choosing any User apps/same selections. Odd that this rom didn't like his kernel. Maybe i'm using a different ram disk or did you flash his global kernel?

I flashed the ICS OTA at first and that is the one that refused to boot. I finally got the stupid phone to go back into hboot (no idea why it was so stubborn) and now I did try the Global Leak and it booted.
Testing to follow.

Ok...I'm flashing back to the Viral OTA ROM to restore the kernel.
I ran a ton of tests but these results tell the story:
AnTuTu
Before Kernel Flash:
Total: 6141, CPU: 2781, RAM: 1241, I/O: 602, GPU: 1517
After Kernel Flash:
Total: 3489, CPU: 1182, RAM: 451, I/O: 461, GPU: 1385
The results after the flash were all over the place but always much worse than before, even after overclocking.
I will run them again when I'm flashed back to Viral.

Total: 5560, CPU: 2446, RAM: 1046, I/O: 548, GPU: 1520
Loving this Rom, running it with funky 1.6 rc2. This thing is so snappy on nova launcher. Only thing is inaccurate battery at low levels. Is there a fix for this?

I will have to back port to get it working. I'm working on other projects right now. On a side note, update the busybox version in this with jrummy's busybox installer, I havent had a chance to do so yet. Good to see you're enjoying it btw.

No , you can flash directly from your actual ROM.
but you add new libs to improve GPU?

Non, is a normal port to see if all is working. After , if the ROM is good ,i will aply aditional customization from xperia.

Are you using CWM or TWRP because in TWRP there are some problem with this ROM.

Antutu : 5852 with sd write and read 0 and CWM kernel and new antutu version
try to wipe system before flash rom if you use TWRP
I think what caused the bootloop is not the rom. It's the fix.

Op you state that do a factory data reset. And if it doesn't work, do a system, data wipe.
You will have to wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache. System is optional, but recommended!

Yes , play store is in the ROM but don't appear in app list , if you intall it the system ask you if you want replace it.

Same basic. We built it together from tar. Just different tweaks between them. Wont notice major difference right now. But in later updates there will br big changes between the two.

This one has alil bit more unseen debloating then the other digitelblazed
I was up all night last night. Remappin aroma. Gonna be able to pick and choose apps thru the aroma to slim down the running rom even more. Hope to push this out in a few days. Also gonna unpack the mods and have them chooseable in the aroma as well.
After all that. THEN its theming time and thats wutz majorly gonna seperate the two.

I would never recommend dirty flashing. But you could give it a try. But then again thats not gonna debloat it. I would at least wipe everything but data.

Need a recap. Hows everything going. I have added a few more mods into the rom of my phone. Still alil more tweaking to do. And imma push it out for you guys. If things go to plan this will b a black n red themed rom. And what im trying to firgure out now is the status bar and notifcation. So if anyone knows a way to help. Or kno or a way to bake my wanam settings in it automatically. That be awesome.

You could ask @mjcollum he has it setup where you reflash and fix permissions to get his settings.
