Dudes I know some advantages of custom recoveries over stock recovery. It gives u freedom to flash any custom zip. I have a doubt, what if a stock software update zip is flashed with custom recoveries?. Can it be successfully flashed ??? If not, then what error will be thrown ???

hi i would like to know if I can go CustomROM readily to a 4.3? I am currently on my mi8 and procedure would look like this! when i flash cwm via odin a cwm and then in a 4.3 custom flash eg. probam .... or does it not? thx in advice
I have SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE S5830i and installed MindCr Rom v2.4. I wonder if i install another custom rom without flashing back the original stock rom will it work? I had done this before and it causing bootloop problem. Is there other way to do this?
Nope. Backing to stock ROM is important for CM-based custom ROM's. If it's a stock-based ROM, you can install over it but it MUST be a stock-based ROM too. CM7.2-based ROM's need Bieltv.3's kernel flashed via CWM and CM11 needs a MTD-compatible CWM (6.0.5.3 is the only one that works.)
