ADVANCED POWER MENUXposed Mod
Original Xperia-specific thread
Advanced Power Menu is an Xposed Mod which adds advanced reboot options (reboot, soft reboot and reboot to recovery) and screenshot option to your power menu. It works on both AOSP and Xperia devices. For rebooting into recovery, a special implementation for Xperia devices is used, but it will also work on AOSP devices.
Features
[NEW] Anti-theft helper - Stop anyone from turning off your phone /enabling airplane mode when the device is locked. In this way no one can stop Android Device Manager from locating your phone by turning off the phone or disabling mobile data (removable battery not taken into account)
A dedicate first-level option for rebooting
Fully working reboot to recovery(no reboot wrapper required)*, bootloader and soft reboot
Screenshot function
Quick dial - call a predefined number directly from the power menu
Toggle mobile data from your power menu
High quality mdpi-xxhdpi icons
GUI for different configurations
Multi-language support
Thanks to Xposed framework,
Easy Installation. No flashing required.
Works both for odexed and deodexed ROMs
Quite future proof (should work for Android 4.3 if there is no big framework change from Sony)#
Should work for a lot of devices
* - For rebooting into recovery, a special implementation for Xperia devices is used, but it will also work on AOSP devices.
# - Unfortunately, there IS framework change from Sony, mainly caused by the new theming engine. Therefore the regular Xposed Installer doesn't work on Xperia 4.3 ROMs. You can download the special version here (released by rovo89):http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48484642&postcount=6846

Prerequisites
All Xperia Phones with rooted stock 4.0+ ROM / Nexus devices / AOSP/ a number of other devices(see confirmed working devices below) (Please do test and tell me)
Xposed framework installed
Note: for Android 4.4 you need the latest version of Xposed Installer (2.4 Beta 1 or later)
A user has reported that sound options disappear when using this mod on HTC One. I currently have no idea why this happens, and I'm too busy to figure it out at this moment. Sorry.
Installation
You will need xposed framework and for this mod to work! See prerequisites above.
After you meet the prerequisites,
Download and install the apk in the next post
Go to Xposed Installer > Modules and enable "Advanced Power Menu"
Reboot and you are done! (Sometimes you might need to reboot more than once for all functions to work)

NOTICE
My app, as well as some other xposed modules, was placed on Google Play without my consent.
This Google Play entry (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ncedrebootmenu) was made without my knowledge and agreement, and I am by no means affiliated with the said developer on that entry.
Authentic releases, whether current or future, is only available on Xposed Modules Repository unless I make another notice.

Download
From now on, Advanced Power Menu is hosted on Xposed Module Repository. You may go to there to download, or directly download from Xposed Installer App.
Old versions on xda:
v3.0
v2.1r
v2.1b
v2.0r
v2.0b
v1.1r
v1.1b
v1.0 apk
Which version should I download?
Release(r): Disabled most of the logs. Use this if you have no problems with the app
Beta(b): With full verbose logging. Use this if you encounter problems. Logs can be found at /data/xposed/debug.log
What can you do if the app doesn't work / if issue happens?
Step 1: Try fixing it yourself
1. Make sure that you have read the prerequisites and installation guide thoroughly/
2. Reboot your phone TWICE (TWO TIMES)
For every single xposed mod, a reboot after installation is necessary. But that might not be enough as users have reported that the app doesn't work after a single reboot, but things get right when they reboot again. So rebooting TWICE is recommended
3. Disable all other Xposed Mod
Xposed framework do take care of mods that hook the same method, but sometimes conflicts can still happen. Try disabling all mods except mine in the Xposed Installer. Then reboot and see if things get right.
4. Clear app data/reinstalling my app
The settings may get messed up when my app updates, so try reinstalling and see if it helps.
5. Use an older version of my app
Try this and see if it helps. If so that means a new update breaks something old and please tell me about that!
If all the above doesn't work, you can then send me an issue report.
Step 2: Tell me and see if I can fix it
(Please don't do this before doing step 1)
Please send me an issue report including
1) a description of the issue
2) screenshots (if it helps explain the situation)
3) The device, ROM, Android OS version, and the app version
4) debug.log (Please enable verbose logging in my app first, then do something like long-pressing the power button)(you may obtain the log in xposed installer 2.4)
5) Anything else you think it's important
through one of the following means:
1) xda forum thread/PM (preferred)
2) e-mail (NOTE: please begin your subject with [APM] so I can better sort my emails. Thanks)
Please note that I can't solve the problem with insufficient information. I will also IGNORE any email with NO BODY TEXT (I use gmail)
Keep in mind that even with all the information I still may not be able to fix your problem because I do not own your device and I'm only a novice android developer. Sorry.
FAQ
Q: The mod doesn't work!
A: Other xposed mods might interfere with this mod. Disable them, reboot and try again.
Q: Rebooting into recovery doesn't work!
A: Flashing the DoomLorD's reboot wrapper MAY help. However, as the wrapper is intended to be optional, there might be something wrong. So it'd be nice if you could send me some logs
Q: There's something wrong with the mod...
A: Just disable the mod in Xposed Installer and reboot. Then everything should be fine again (Should this happens please tell me and send me the debug.log and debug.log.old files. This helps me to fix the issue)]
Q: I have a bootloop! What should I do now?
You can follow the following methods (quoted from xposed framework main thread) to disable the xposed framework
In case you get into a boot loop:
You can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-CWM.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).
You could also create a file /data/xposed/disabled, which causes Xposed to be bypassed as well.

Click to collapse
Usage Warning
DO NOT press Vol-Down + Power while a screenshot taken by Advanced Power Menu is being saved! This will result in constant force-stop of System UI and you will need to reboot the phone to solve this!
Usage Tip
You can long-press the reboot option on the power menu if you wanna do a normal reboot. Then you can skip the reboot mode dialogue.

The Anti-Theft feature is quite a genius thing. The thief wont know about the "battery pull" of my Xperia Z ^^
May I request a feature to hide the "device locked" in the lockscreen power menu completely?

Amazing, keep up dev

Works fine on my LG g2, 4.4.2 omni. It seems almost to good tat a potential thief can't boot into recovery anymore. Great work!

Thanks all for your support and feedback!

I have request for U
I want Wi-Fi switch and Bluetooth switch in power menu.

I plan to make this, but this is more time consuming to implement it. I'll do that if I've ample free time (but I don't think I'll in near feature)

I've just done that so the feature will be available in the next version of release

A new version has been released. Grab it from xposed repo!
What's new:
Customizable display text for quick dial
New Czech translation (thanks jzak)
Updated Traditional Chinese translation
Updated the xda thread link

A quick question : you can still shutdown your device by long press the power button even your phone is locked?
If so, could you implement that the app could only force restart but not shutdown?

It depends on your phone. As far as I know, long pressing the power button of a nexus device causes it to reboot. For Xperia Z, long pressing it will neither power off nor reboot the device. I don't know about others though. However, this kind of force shutdown is usually implemented at hardware level / low level so I don't think I can do much to control this behavior

Works great on LG G2 D802 (stock 4.4.2 v10c). Thanks a lot!

It works great at my razrd3 to, but I got a menu that leet the phone sleep, I dont know if this bottom is common on others android phone, so I ask if u can implement remove this from power menu while in lockscreen

I see this works on other lg g2 but has anyone tried on vs98012b stock rooted? I'd love to have a faster easier way to get into my twrp recovery

The anti-theft feature is useful, another way to prevent someone from turning off your phone. My Nexus 4 has a non-removable battery though the issue is that I believe a hardware feature of it is that if you hold the power button for 10seconds anyway it'll still shutoff (not sure but I think I read that somewhere). At the very least for the Nexus 4 this only leaves one option for the theif to shut it off.

Thanks for making this awesome module!! Working fine on Xperia Neo V (stock ICS) :good:

Well I'm not sure but I believe that holding nexus 4's power button for that amount of time only reboots the phone (I think I read that somewhere too) Anyway, thanks for your comment. (and ya there's still a way to power-off the phone with anti-theft helper on, at least with my Xperia Z)

[ROM] zerorom v0.4 (GSM/CDMA, CWM Install)

Hi everyone... here's my first crack at a custom ROM for the Xperia Play. And this is very beta. Once things get more solid, I'll make this first post a lot more proper. As it stands, this is for people who aren't worried about being on the edge.

Tons of SE default apps removed, including Whatsapp, Music Unlimited, Adobe Flash Player (market is far more up-to-date) and so much more.
Facebook deep integration removed, use FrAsErTaG's Facebook patch if you want it back - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1140540
SuperCharger memory management and loopy smoothness tweaks
/data partition has lots of space free.
Data, SMS, MMS, Wifi, Home button, back button, Google Voice Navigation all working.
Installation instructions:
I've been trying to get a proper flashable update.zip which would include the DoomKernel, however I have been getting bootloops, so for now, installing consists of restoring a Nandroid backup. This, of course, requires a kernel with CWM recovery, so you must already have DoomKernel installed at the moment.
These instructions will get much more properly fleshed out later on.
Quick and dirty steps:
1) Enter Recovery menu with preflashed DoomKernel.
2) Wipe all userdata
3) Wipe all caches
4) Wipe Dalvik Cache
5) Install the zerorom zip from your SD card.
At this point, reboot and you should be booting into the ROM. There's a good chance you'll see the boot logo two or three times before it boots properly. This is normal and no reason to be alarmed. This is basically the dalvik2cache and zipalign scripts running.
CDMA Users:
Install with the same build as below. Follow the same instructions. As long as you have not wiped /system when you attempt to install zerorom, it will detect that you are running on CDMA. It checks this by going by what your /system/build.prop says. If that file does not exist, installation could fail.
Installation failure when /system is wiped before install:
If you are missing /system/build.prop, you could write the following into a text file: "ro.product.device = R800x" for CDMA users or "ro.product.device = R800i" for GSM users. Then push this file to /system/build.prop. Then restart installation and you should be good.

Changelog/Roadmap:
v0.5 - Update zips for each version from now on, startup script control, nano/bash included.
v0.4 - CDMA and GSM support in a single installation, hacked Google Maps 5.10.0 with worldwide navigation, loopy smoothness tweaks and V6 SuperCharger memory management scripts on startup. PNG optimized.
v0.3 - Restarted from scratch. Added Google Talk with video. Added new theme. Switched to Launcher Pro from ADW Launcher. Removed more apps. Added new bootanimation. Turned off auto-brightness settings. Turned off most camera sounds. SQLite vacuum on boot. Yet more stuff.
V0.2.1 - Readd Sony Ericsson settings application to fix Messaging app force close when attemping to enter its settings.
V0.2 - Removed Facebook, Sony Ericsson custom Facebook integration, Sony Ericsson sync clients, Sony Ericsson LiveView manager. Added romname/version to build.prop so it is displayed to the user.
V0.1 - Initial release.
Possible future plans and progress:

More switchable user control over various things such as the muting of camera sounds, zipalign, dalvik2cache and many other options through a simple interface. - 10% complete
Add Screenshot function to power menu - Abandoned for now, screenshot intent was Cyanogenmod only?
Switch to Google DNS servers? - Initial look into it complete, reevaluating soon.
Apps2SD - Nothing done yet.
Various build.prop/performance tweaks - 50% complete
Use zerorom as the basis for a rom devoted towards the emulator/gamer - Nothing done yet, waiting for this ROM to be complete.
PNG optimization - 100% complete.
EDT Tweaks for status bar - Some initial looks into it complete, reevaluating soon.
SD Card speedup - Nothing done yet.
Alternate font - Nothing done yet.
Multiple themes - Nothing done yet.
720p playback with replacement of liboxmvdec.so - 100% - failed

Don't go that way: in Sony's Xperia line for this year, kernels are not flasheable through recovery, because the recovery must be contained in the kernel. Thus, kernels must be flashed with fastboot, separate from the rest.

As for Facebook, I'm looking deeper into how tied it is to the other apps. It's definitely something that will probably disappear soon.

If that helps you some, in my old system image GP2Xperia I made Facebook in its wholeness disappear from the phone. It's just a couple of apk's, nothing to be worried about. However, you may want to prepare a Facebook-adding update.zip just in case.

I removed it completely as a test (along with SE Syncing tools and their custom FB stuff) and found that simply installing FB from the market brings back most of what you'd get anyways, so it'll be removed from the next version. Liveware Manager will also be removed since it can just be installed from the market.

i said thank you (though not in those 2 words), gave the dev a thumbs up, and am currently running the rom to test it out and feed back to the dev any issues (if any) there may be in this package. i was just merely pointing out that in my eyes, fb is bloat and (to me) not as clean as i'd hoped.
so far it is a good rom, funcional, and a very good start for the devs first play attempt in a very limited custom rom world (for the play, at the moment), and i greatly look forward to future releases
v0.2 is in the middle of uploading. Sorry, no update.zip to update to the new version yet. I'll start creating those soon.
SE Sync, SE Facebook, Facebook, LiveWare all removed. Added rom name/version to build.prop.
EDIT: Done uploading, link: http://www.multiupload.com/3W86RKRKOM
My facebook patch will work fine

After weeks of research, development and testing I proudly present the ultimate, yet easy to use, privacy manager: XPrivacy.
XPrivacy can prevent applications from leaking privacy sensitive data. XPrivacy can restrict the categories of data an application can access. This is done by feeding an application with no or fake data. There are several data categories which can be restricted, for example contacts or location. For example, if you restrict access to contacts for an application, this will result in sending an empty contact list to the application. Similarly, restricting an application's access to your location will result in a set location being sent to the application.
You can use the successor XPrivacyLua on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later.
Features
Simple to use
No need to patch anything (no source, no smali or anything else)

Newly installed applications are restricted by default
Displays data actually used by an application

This forum is for questions only. See here for bug reports and feature requests.
Please post messages related to privacy only.
XPrivacy is not intended to make other application do things they are not supposed to do.
There is only support for the latest official XPrivacy version.
XPrivacy was a lot of work, so please support this project
If you want to donate, see here for all options.
Use at your own risk !
The latest version from a while ago still works properly up to Android 6 Marshmallow, if Xposed works properly on your device
(you can ignore any internal error report of XPrivacy, since these are known to be harmless)

Contributions are more than welcome to make it a better mod.
Thanks a lot. I always missed PDroid as i am on stock Samsung ROM.
BTW, the patches also work on Stock Rom ? ie : even if i don't use CM10, i need to install the CM10_4.1 patch isn't it ?
Tanks again
Looks awesome.

Yes, the fixes should work on stock ROM too, but I didn't test it.

I will try ASAP and report
Im using this since version 0.3 and think it is really a great Mod!
Thank you very much for your hard work!
I'd really like to contribute, but since I'm pretty limited in terms of coding the only thing I can offer is to translate Xprivacy to German if you like.
I already got some experience in app translating (though it has been some time since then), so just PM me, if you want me to translate it

So If I'm on a sense based 4.2.2 rom I also need to install the CM 4.2 fix? (just installed the latest version of Xprivacy .11)
the app has improved greatly, its very usable now.
some suggestions/details:
app/usability:
1. the app is usable when it is not enabled, there should be a check on app launch if it is enabled in xposed.
2. some sort of loading indicator instead of just directly jumping into the batch edit category after a wait.
3. search for apps.
4. app filtering
2,3,4 are already implemented in xposed app settings, perhaps you could look at that code.
ui stuff:
1. all the activities except the main one should have menu items and the navigation action http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/actionbar.html#Home
2. the blocked apps/ apps with the particular permission should be sorted above the rest.
i'd say blocked apps->apps with permission but not blocked-> rest of them
3. scroll bar in batch edit
4. action bar spinners or a viewpager like the xposed app separating the batch edit and the list of all apps. (AB spinners would save space though)
these are suggestions, i love the app as it is,

TY Sir
hmm odd. I have everything installed (Xposed 34, xprivacy .11 and the fix) I don't see an Xprivacy button in manage apps like in the 2nd screen shot.

First the most obvious: did you reboot? did you enable XPrivacy in the Xposed installer?
Which ROM do you use?
Do you see orange triangles if you start XPrivacy and browse apps?

Yes, I rebooted twice. I'm on TrickDroid 4.2.2 (sense based) on the HTC One. I do see the orange triangle on some apps when I open up Xprivacy but not on all (going into the different categories)
a have a request. The application is really great, but I would much rather like to get notification(and then I can open XPrivacy by just clicking on it) when new application is installed instead of just popping up. I hope you understand me

If you see orange triangles XPrivacy is in any case working.
Maybe your settings layout is different, so that XPrivacy cannot hook into it.
This is not a big problem, because you can access all settings from the app too.
You can do me a pleasure by sending a logcat, starting from the moment your device boots, so I may be able to figure out why this (not) happens.

Could you please create issues for these, so I can easily track things?
Loading apps in an async task + spinner has already been realized (will be in version 0.12).

PLEASE BE AWARE-- THIS ROM IS NOT BASED ON OFFICIAL SAMSUNG FILES, IT IS BASED ON A RUNNING CM11 CYANOGENMOD SYSTEM.
AND WHILE THIS IS VERY GOOD, CM11 IS NOT 100% READY FOR OUR DEVICES, ALSO ANY SAMSUNG SPECIFIC FEATURES (MULTIWINDOW, PEN WINDOW, SHEALTH, ect) WILL NOT WORK (THOUGH I WILL ATTEMPT TO INCLUDE ALTERNATES), AND WHILE IT IS PRETTY STABLE, AT THIS TIME THERE WILL BE SOME MINOR BUGS. AS CM11 CHANGES THOSE WILL BE REDUCED. IF YOU NEED ABSOLUTE STABILITY AND EXCELLENT BATTERY LIFE PLEASE USE A TOUCHWIZ ROM BASED ON THE OFFICIAL mj4 UPDATE>
for a slightly better look at what touchwiz is vs what cm11 (aosp) is check out a few of these links.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48773400&postcount=2
http://www.androidauthority.com/touchwiz-better-than-stock-android-215634/
I AM NOT TRYING TO SAY cm11 ISNT VERY GOOD. I LIKE IT QUITE A BIT.
or i wouldnt have gone through the effort of making this.
just that touchwiz is more than the launcher it is actually a whole set of files built directly into the system specifically designed for our devices.
MANY of the apps that come stock on the note 3 rely on these files to function.
and no its not as easy as just copying them over to cm11 based roms.
CM11 is more of a vanilla android experience (with some mods)
PLEASE READ POST #3 CAREFULLY.
THE INSTALL PROCEDURE FOR THIS ROM MAY BE A BIT DIFFERENT THEN WHAT YOU'RE USED TO.
MY TOUCHWIZ BASED ROMS

**BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MININ3.MAXIMUS FOR A TOUCHWIZ BASED EXTREMELY STABLE CUSTOM EXPERIENCE**

NO KERNEL INCLUDED>
MUST INSTALL OVER A CM11 BASED BUILD
which will have the kernel and a full system this rom only changes and adds features for cm11 builds
STEP ONE:
install a cm11 build tested over this one here...
thank @noobnl for his hard work bringing us a working cm
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2599669
i used:NEW NEW NEW BUILD from that thread.
there is now an official build page for the note 3 cm builds here.
latest official builds can be found here
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=hltespr
Reports are it also works very well with VANIR based roms
http://www.emccann.net/nuclearmistake/VanirAOSPNightlies/hltespr/
STEP TWO GET THIS FILE:
DOWNLOAD
VERSION 1.0 ALPHA SOME MINOR BUGS (CM11 is not 100% yet)
(if downloading from phone gives a bin file download with a pc, should be.zip)
INCLUDES ALL NECESSARY GAPPS AND OTHER NEEDED FILES!
Built on top of cm11 for multiple reasons, (my upload bandwith is horrible right now, cm11 is getting constant updates, this will make things easier on me at least until everything gets worked out) (should also work UNTESTED on other cm11 builds/roms for the sprint note 3)
Install instructions
FOR THIS VERSION AT THE MOMENT CWM RECOVERY IS NOT SUPPORTED
cwm lacks the fix permissions script needed to ensure certain data settings remain intact
future versions will improve on this, however for now use TWRP
Install notes for test version 1 (this will change dramatically with upcomming versions)
FIRST (ESPECIALLY IF COMING FROM 4.3)
wipe everything in recovery except internal and external sd
(wipe>advanced)
reboot into recovery (IMPORTANT)
then install from there.
install cm11 first
boot to system
This is an update add on to cm11 based roms
flash update reboot (to write data to system)
flash update again, fix permissions, (edits data after a boot)
reboot
(i have been working on a much improved install procedure that should ensure a one step install,
the reason for editing data is to pre-set some app settings
without having to edit individual apk files, this increases
compatibility and ensures things still work as intended as apps get updated)
open pie control give admin
open wanam press update install (to force admin)
will need to open a few other apps also will list as found
future versions should take care of this automagically.
can use hide apps to hide unwanted apps from the launcher (this will also be preset in the future)
i usually use it to hide all the wanam modules and not the xposed installer.
then use xposed installer , modules to edit settings as needed.
also can hide anything else you want to leave installed but not see.
these apps may need root enabled (just open and try and change something) should prompt..
Xposed installer
Pie control
startup manager (if wanted)
texdroider dpi (if wanted)
file manager
xhalo floating windows (wanam module)
app hider (to hide apps optional)
also there are some included themes under the settings menu themes.
ignore the warning and just press apply, (stock cm11, blackout, twstyle)
may also want to uncheck and recheck all the wanam modules and reboot after to be sure they all actually get set.
ADVANCED USERS/USERS WANTING TO USE THIS ON TOP OF ANOTHER CM11 BUILD
STILL READ ABOVE NOTES>
Dirty flash on top of any running cm11 system should be fine (unconfirmed)
NOT WIPING DATA SHOULD BE FINE ALSO IF YOU ARE ALREADY ON A 4.4 BUILD.
DO THIS:
flash update reboot (to write data to system)
flash update again, fix permissions, (edits data after a boot)
reboot

Other than WiFi Calling and maybe VoLTE, is there a quick list of differences b/t this and GE? I tried comparing OP's but can't tell. I'm on AT&T so neither of those 2 mean anything to me..... yet.
Thanks for any help!
Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA Free mobile app
I clean flashed this and have no APN's.
Giving this a test run and things I've noticed so far:
-Wi-Fi Calling works great with NH5 modem
-Installed Slim version with Chrome, Xposed, and S-Health/Private Mode (No issues or hang-ups)
-ROM scrolling speed/animation speed is very smooth and responsive
-Wanam Xposed installed by default is a nice touch
-SFinder and Quick Connect buttons removed is a welcomed mod
Feels like a fully featured build and clocking in at 1.08GB in the system partition. Not bad at all.
Only real con for my install was that the option for XSecureStorage was a tad confusing. There were two options: Enabled and Disabled and from what I know about the command in order for S-Health to work the build.prop has to state "ro.secure.storage=false" and so my assumption was that I needed to choose False during setup. However, I chose enable it and I saw that the Xposed module was added and that the build.prop change was set to false. Anyway, just wanted to comment and say that option in Aroma was the only confusing portion.
Great and very smooth ROM so far. I've had bad luck in the past using Wanam with my device, however I've never run it in the system partition so maybe that is the secret. I'm going to give this thing a few days and see how it works with my daily usage. Always great to see another Dev making ROMs. Thanks for giving us some extra options! :good:

I have one APN, which is the one I normally use and it is the "T-Mobile US LTE (fast.t-mobile.com)" so I cannot duplicate your issue. I flashed the NH5 version for T-Mobile and it looks like he removed all the extra ones to cut down on unnecessary bloat. Are you using a 900T?
Edit: I verified this by going to Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
Are you APNs not listed in the apps you are trying to use, Hangouts for example, or are they totally absent from the ROM?

I'm using a 900T and flashed the full version using KT's TWRP recovery.

Same recovery I used and I chose KT's kernel for the install. Follow this from the OP:
Code:
"WHEN POSTING ISSUES.. STATE WHAT MODS U HAVE USED AND WHAT KERNEL
YOUR USING AND WHAT CARRIER YOU USE!.. SKIP THAT AND I SKIP UR POST!!"
And you should probably include the options you chose during install just in case he needs to try to duplicate it. And in the mean time you can manually add the APN using the information found HERE if you like. Could have been a bad flash or bad download so don't rule those out either. Don't worry though, missing APNs are an easy fix.

Anyway, just wanted to comment and say that option in Aroma was the only confusing portion.

nice job man!!!
the buildprop trick will not help private mode .. but i was thinking of doing this .. in aroma have xposed, wanan xposed and his xsecurestorage module all install at once.. this way it wont confuse users..
again nice job with the feedback

Known issues:
The customization is not applied correctly in the Settings section.
The circle of FAB button on the main screen doesn't apply color customization.
ATTENTION!
The Riru module v22+ from Magisk, doesn't detect Xposed correctly, therefore it's recommended to use version 21.3 so that everything continues to work correctly.
As I communicated a long time ago, now the Hooks update system (now called libraries) will not continue to update automatically. Updates will now be made on each version independently, and there will be no updates for all versions.
To update the libraries, you must enter the Updates section and click on the Update libraries option. At the moment, there will only be libraries for stable versions and beta versions published on weekends, however, in the link published below, I will publish all available versions of libraries in each version of KMod FWA.

Place their themes on your SD card or internal memory, in the /KMod/Themes route. Make sure the directory exists before placing, if doesn't exist, open the module for create directories.

FAQ:
Q: I installed an update, and KMod FWA is not recognized by Xposed.
A: This is usually normal on some devices.
Disable KMod FWA from the list of Xposed modules, perform a normal restart (not quick), enable KMod FWA again in the list of Xposed modules, and do a normal restart.
Sometimes, disable and enable KMod FWA the list of Xposed modules, and do a normal restart is sufficient.
Q: Why it doesn't work in some versions of WhatsApp?
A: This only works in official versions of WhatsApp higher than that specified in the requirements.
It may also be that your Android version doesn't have integrated customization, and that is the reason why there is no customization in WhatsApp.
Q: Installed and activated the module, why the changes do not apply to WhatsApp?
A: Maybe you have not successfully activated the module, deactivate, activate, and then restart of device (normal restart, not by software). You may also be using a version of WhatsApp not compatible with the module.
Q: Can't download themes from the cloud?
A: At the moment this option is not available, you can upload your themes to external and share servers.
Q: Where was it saved, or where should I save new themes to load them into KMod FWA?
A: Used to place their themes on your SD card or internal memory, in the /KMod/Themes route. Make sure the directory exists before placing, if doesn't exist, open the module for create directories.
Q: I have changed the application icon, and no changes are applied.
A: After changing the application icon you must restart your device. If it still doesn't change the icon, you may be using a launcher who does not support changing the application icon (such as Nova Launcher).
Q: I have updated KMod FWA and several options have stopped working.
A: If this happens, then go to KMod FWA Settings, select Delete cache, and press Apply changes in KMod FWA.
Q: I have activated the option to see a Toast of the people who connect and disconnect, but it does not work.
A: These notifications will only be displayed when:
Log in to WhatsApp.
Enter a contact's chat.
You are inside WhatsApp.
Do not keep the online status hidden.
When these four conditions are met, then you should see when the contacts you have entered into your chat are connected or disconnected.
If you comply with the four conditions, but leave WhatsApp, force the closure of the application or enter KMod FWA, you must repeat the four conditions to make it work again.
Q: I have problems related to privacy options.
A: See this post for more information: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75503030&postcount=1772

@Krowne Wow finally you release it. But why you remove support for whatsapp 2.12.5?
How do you change the color of the navbar/statusbar?
Thanks

It will continue to support this version, but I will not follow developed further for this version of WhatsApp for being too old, and I will focus on developing current versions, because the versions 2.12.5 and 2.12.30 soon stop working, and I have no way of proving their development without risk of ban.
However, you still can download KMod 1.00 for WhatsApp 2.12.5 to 2.12.30.

Minor Bug
Hello There,
First of all nice job,
second I'd like to post a small issue
The status bar does not change color when you change the color of the header.
like I said this is a minor issue, but it would be nice to have it fixed
below is the environment info:
Device: LG E960 Nexus 4
OS Version/Build: Lollipop 5.1.1 LMY48T
Whatsapp Version: 2.12.304
KMod Version: 2.0.0
if you need more info please tell me
Very nice module. Works fine. Except causes fc on mirrorlink lg g4. Disabling the module caused the fc to disappear.

That's normal, whenever you install, delete, enable or disable the module, you must of restart the device, otherwise you may have unexpected FC.
Great work, run perfect on Xperia Z2 5.1.1.
The possibility to change color of "Writing..." in Chat screen, is implemented? Or I not find it, as well as "online status" in Conversations screen.
Thanks!
EDIT: Restore a saved theme not work. Says "loaded theme", but no apply the changes. With the file explorer, I see that themes are correctly in "Kmod/themes/".

I did. Many times. I could not get rid of the FC for Mirrorlink. It only FCs once after reboot. Not subsequently.

Yes, you can do so from two sites.
Customization > Interface > Header > Header > Color (Assign the color of the letters of the main header) and Active Set Color (Thus, the color is applied to all headers).
You can also do this directly in the section:
Customization > Conversations > Header > Status
If the themes are not applied, you can try several things.
I made sure to have root permissions when open the module.
Check that WhatsApp is closed, if it's not closed, you don't apply the change correctly (you can click the Apply Changes button located top right).
Make sure the module is active in the module list Xposed.
Whenever you install, remove, enable, or disable the module, you must restart your device.
Load the theme Stock, and then load another.
If all previous fails, delete the module and install a clean install by checking the above steps.

Always after rebooting the device you must expect this to finish loading, because if he gets immediately KMod this gives FC. This happens to me too, and I do not know why, I think it's because he has to finish loading Xposed.
