[Q] How to open link directly by its app? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I try to click Playstore link and Instagram link on twitter, but it only shows Browser and Opera Mobile to open that link. On my old device, I can open the link directly to the apps.

I have built an app using webview to show a mobile website. However, when I click the links, it redirects to browser, how can I open the links inside the app?

Open Web Browser on Android Application

Is there a mod wherein you can open a link without exiting the app. For example: on twitter..when you click a link it goes to the internet browser which too annoying.

Can't upload photos to Facebook using Chrome (updated, v31.0.1650.59) on Android 4.4 - Nexus 4.
It says: Your browser is not compatible with direct photo upload (image below). WTF?

edit: now I have the option to upload from the piece of s*** Quick Office file browser, and still gives me an error.
Same problem there's a way to upload through email

If I understand you correctly the app is opening up your browser and the video within the webpage won't play..try using Flashfox browser, it's in the playstore.

well nevermind i said to delete thread but issue wasnt resolved...um no the app isnt opening a browser it is playing an embedded video through the app
