Okey thanks, on Mako Google Dialer makes those problems, Hammerhead unfortunately I can't test. I'll remove note about Google Dialer from OP and I'll make today new build with updated Halo

I've checked PA Gerrit, HALO in my build is the most recent (revision from Dec 30). In top right corner you can check last revision. Bump feature on Gerrit often causes only new comment or code review.
Are you interested for NavigationBar Customization or Increasing Ringtone?

Build works quite nice except the clock tile, same as here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2558519&page=6

well navigation bar customization seems rather nice, feature i'm looking forward to the most is pie as im seriously annoyed by the navigation bar and the loss in screen real estate is causes, do you know whether that is pickable at the moment?
and a practical thing i'd love to use the battery saving setting but I hope they will build in a quicksettings tile for that! because currently i cant use it due to the fact that when i listen to music i stream it and 2g is a bit slow for that purpose...
I'm sorry about the halo comment but I thought I saw an update on mgerrit but it's not merged yet

Thanks for report! This commit is already merged, but probably there is a new bug. It seems that onClick listener is never invoked.

I've checked Gerrit abandoned projects and there is not PIE. It seems that development of the PIE hasn't started yet. Do you know if some KitKat ROM already included PIE? I can make new Quick Tile to hide navbar (not immersive), which can be used with LMT launcher
If you want static PIE (navbar is always hide), you can install Xposed framework & 3dot menu & LMT launcher. Or you can try Xposed & GravityBox (which has CM implementation of the PIE). With GravityBox you can switch PIE via Power menu (Extended desktop). Unfortunately GB breaks some PA things.

yeah i'm well aware but a brother has to have faith, a tile to hide navbar would be quite practical but there's still the google now ring-thing popup for which I haven't found a way to get rid of it as it conflicts with the pie coming up from the bottom

I hadn't never problem with Google ring, if you hide navbar then ring is disabled. Xposed + 3dot menu + LMT works great (for restore navbar you have to reboot :-\).
On Gerrit is history (at bottom page). New changes are called patchset (PS) or revision. There are only comments today.

My bad its been a tough day but a hide nav bar tile would be quite welcome

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.
"Give credit and thanks where is due!" That's something that has fuel the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....

Im not sure what ya mean? Update kernel? The kernel built in is new CM kernel. What did you want? Either way here is a nice list that hhp_211 put together. Maybe you can find what your looking for there.

No. It doesnt work like that. Those are files to build a kernel. Whats wrong with the kernel I built in? As far as kernel that will work with this ROM, I have no idea. Its a brand new ROM. Just flah some from that link and find what ya like.
DISCLAIMER: Dont come back posting that a certain kernel soft-bricked ur phone. I have no idea what other kernels will do when flashed the this ROM. Shouldnt do too much damage..lol..maybe a soft brick here or there...lol

First of all thank you for all of your hard work, I appreciate all you guys do to give us these roms. I'm loving this new rom and was just wondering a couple of things. First, is Halo actually on this rom? I see it listed as a feature but I cannot figure out how to turn it on, when I was on PA it was available from the status bar or as a toggle. Also I am digging the kernal on this rom, did you build it from scratch or is it based off something else?

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Wonderful :good:
So...
This will or won't work on a G900W canadian phone? Probably going to try it anyway just to see.
Just flashed my all time favorite ROM and it flies. Thanks dev and hope it will be maintained.

Thanks mate... Great stuff (gonna try flashing this soon).
Just one stoopid question though. You recommend Banks GAPPS, but no link (and he no longer maintains it).
Anyone tried PA GAPPS with this (or can recommend an alternate)?

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonROM GitHub.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

Installation Instructions:
1) Make sure you have root and TWRP custom recovery installed. Also make sure you're not on stock 4.4.4. If you're on stock, then follow these instructions(replace the CM12 ROM with the ROM download link given below to flash CarbonROM)(If you're following these instructions, then no need to follow steps 2,3,4 etc. as they all are the same)
CM11 zip: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/90775/cm-11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-ghost.zip
2) Download CarbonROM zip and GApps zip of your choice(5.1.x only!)
3) Reboot to recovery and take a backup of your current ROM.
4) Flash CarbonROM zip and successively the GApps zip package.
5) Wipe cache/dalvik cache x2 times.
6) Reboot phone and voila! Carbon is ready to rock.
Instructions for xt1052 users:
If you're unable to flash the carbon rom zip due to an updater-script error, then follow these instructions(you can view the zip's contents on your phone or on your computer):
1) Open/view the zip package using WinZip, Root explorer or any other computer/phone zip software(open it, don't unzip it!)
2) Go to META-INF/com/google/android. You will see a file named 'updater-script'. Open it with notepad++(or any editor of your choice), and delete the starting lines, so the first line looks like this:
Code:
ifelse(is_mounted("/system"), unmount("/system"));
3) Save the file in the zip and then flash the ROM zip and GApps zip packages. It will flash properly this time.
4) Now reboot your phone and voila! Carbon is ready to rock!

Minimal 5.1.x GApps(Use whichever GApps you want)

Well, I don't want all the ROMs for our phone, only the best ones. That's why I don't make many ROMs[emoji1]
This going to be updated constantly? Like weekly or that?

It'll be updated when I feel like updating. Consider bi-weekly(two times a week) update or sometimes nightly, when new features are being constantly added.

This build doesn't support it, but future builds will.

Thanks @JustArchi
Not included graphite flags as it was causing many errors and not proven to give great performance, instead harming the device!
Enjoy this new build!
EDIT: Changes from carbon team:
- Improved Heads Up visuality
- Added smart pulldown back
Well... I feel that I'm in love of this ROM! [emoji7] ... I really like the constant support and improvements...
