Straight talk help - Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE

I use my phones internet regularly and unfortunately, upon switching over from my previous phone this one only goes up to edge. I haven't figured out why it does this or any ways for it to go to 3g+. I use the att sim card.. When I put the sim card in different phones, it goes up to 3g and H.. I don't know if this is just stuck on going up to edge because it is not a verizon sim card. I still have the old verizon sim card, I am unaware if I could activate that via straight talk. Or if the fact that network operators is greyed out, if that has anything to do with it. Any help or insight into this problem would be great.

Tis one.
FIELD SETTINGS
NAME straight talk
APN tfdata
PORT 80
MMSC mms[dot]tf[dot]net
MMS PROXY mms3[dot]tracfone[dot]com
MMS PORT 80
Sorry for the misunderstanding

Might be because that is the new lte settings for straight talk... The device ur using only supports h+ for gsm ... Try this and make sure the network mode is set to gsm/wcdma auto

I changed it to that and I got services but, no internet. Also, I only have CDMA/LTE and GSM/UMTS if that makes any difference. Obviously I am using the GSM/UMTS.

No the 4G LTE version. From Verizon.
EDIT: I think it has something to do with the network operators in the settings but, I am unable to get into those settings. Just a thought.

Weird in have a Verizon Droid incredible 2 right I'm front of me and it has a global option.

Resound Global phone?

Does the rezound support gsm network? I tried to swap 4g sim with a sim card I brought from my country and it roams to T-moble's network after I switch the mode to global mode under #*#*4636*#*# phone info. So my question is does it supports gsm network ?
no it does not... the sim card is only for verizons 4g lte
yeah is a good questione cause i want to buy it but i m from italy and we don t have the 4g (country of sh¡t)

edit so when it will came to europe?whit another name? and the future mode will be used for all of them or will be a difference like i9000 and i9003 -.-?
But it does work on T mobile's network.. that's why felt so weird.. I swap the sim card I got from Taiwan, then changed to global mode. It then shoes roaming. And the network is T Mobile..
I am wondering if Verizon hide the global feature while it actually does work on gsm network?

Most of Verizon's new phones are world phones so they do have GM's radios and can roam on gsm network but you cannot use them as GSM phones

No on 700MZh LTE and cdma network.

All this was brought up when the Thunderbolt came out and it was proved not to be a world phone.
Ok guys, stop. It is NOT a world phone. It does NOT have a GSM antenna. Wherever you are has a CDMA tower that the phone is roaming to, it has nothing to do with the sim card as it is for the LTE ANTENNA ONLY! Stop getting your hopes up. The LTE OnOff app was built as a universal app, it does NOT detect antenna's. Rezound is NOT a world phone, it does NOT work on GSM.

If you want proof, there is a tear down of the phone already posted. There is clearly NOT a GSM antenna in the phone.

Are you asking if you can use 3G for web while you are on a phone call?? No. Not with Sprint or Verizon.
The only 3G networks that are able to do both are AT&T and T-Mobile.

Actually, you CAN on 3g. I have no problem being in the car on the phone, and loading up facebook.... The EVO 4G LTE was the first to support SVDO, and the SGIII also supports this feature...very handy indeed!

This information is from Android Central's Review of the Sprint Version of the Galaxy SIII:
Burning question: Does the SGSIII have a SVDO radio like the EVO 4G LTE does... meaning, can it do simultaneous voice and data over 3G like the HTC EVO 4G LTE and the LG Viper can?

EVDO 3G can do this under certain circumstances. The Verizon HTC phones that can do this use eHRPD as well for 3G so you can be on one and use the other to talk and surf.

[Q] does GMS functions fully (with 3g) on XT912 running ICS?

HI,
Thanks in advance for helping. I am planning to buy a used Motorola Droid Razr XT 912 (verizon) phone for my brother. We are on GSM network. I am not clear if I upgrade to ICS GSM will be unlocked and works full like a GSM phone or not.
Will there be any issues like data not working/3G not working etc?
Quick help will be greatly appreciated as I have to confirm to prospective seller!
Thanks you!!

That's a negative batman! Just to be clear. My steps
1) turned phone off
2) inserted active AT&T micro sim
3) turned phone on
4) dialed *#*#info#*#*
5) selected phone info
6) turned radio off
7) selected wcdma preferred
8) turned radio back on
9) pressed home key
10) went into network options
11) selected gsm/umts
12) tried to make a call

Okay, so you're saying an area that doesn't have LTE. What if you do have LTE? I have LTE in places around Houston, but I'd love for my HSPA to be faster. Will this break my LTE?
It's so awesome. I'm at my friend's apt right now and I seen 24.8Mbps. Like WTF!? \('o')/
It does say adding something and not just replacing. I guess I can give this a try right now. I'll post back to see if my LTE falters.
EDIT: Well I've added the new APN. Everytime I try and select it, it jumps back to the default APN. Maybe it will switch when I leave this LTE area. I'll try then.

I've gone back and forth on the change and at times, the upload speed is quite miserable. I've seen some uptick in the download speeds for the better on the order of going from around 2.5 - 2.9M up to 3.6 - 4.6M. Certainly not the increases some of you are seeing, but I'll keep my eye on this. Thanks nonetheless!
