Hm, I don't think that most users want that. We will see and maybe I add such an option. Btw this is my first Android app, so don't expect fast development...

I don't expect fast development. It must be hard to build an app. Hope you will decide to add this opinion.

Working good, been waiting for something like this :good:
I like that we can even hide the "Hide Apps" app from drawer and still access it via the Xposed modules section. I also like that you can put an app into a folder on the desktop and then hide it, and it stays in the folder! Very cool.

Thank you i was just looking for an app that does this

This is a great idea, thank you!
But a number of apps I have selected to hide are still visible, such as Google Settings.

I know the it clearly states it's for Google's launcher but will this work with others?I use aviate and would love this functionality

requires reboot
requires reboot every time to hide/unhide app..

Did you try just killing the Google Search App?

new bug fix release v1.0.2
I released a new version which shows the same set of apps as the app drawer of the GEL. This should fix the problem with Google Settings app and others.

Great module
This is an awesome module, great job.
I had this problem, when I hide Google app it hides Google+ also.
oh and hidden apps show again after updating, otherwise all is working fine.

Thanks a lot for making this - I have been waiting for this module since GEL has existed.
The fact that you can hide apps from the drawer but keep any homescreen shortcuts accessible is great - I just have all "computer janitor" stuff like other xposed modules and Hide Apps itself stashed away in a folder now and not cluttering up the app drawer.

Working as described for GEL. Would love an update or a module for Aviate.

(THEME) Themed Android Markets New Version 3.1.3

OK found these new themed Android Markets Version 3.1.3 (newest version)
Didn't make this but though I would post a link! Thanks to who ever did theme these! Well, enjoy!!
http://www.apktop.com/android-market-3-1-3-with-7-themes.html
Current Version:3.1.3
Requires a Rooted Device size:3.2MB V3.1.3 update: Adds +1 For Apps And Games, Pin Number For Purchases, And More! New Android Market / Adds +1 For Apps And Games. Pin Number For Purchases And More! should work for all devices. You do need to enable Unknown Sources in Settings-> Applications.)
There is a brand-new settings menu, as well as click-to-read explanations of app per missions (not developer customizable, unfortunately). There is also a brand-new Market icon to spruce things up. Oh, and did we mention you can now use a custom PIN for purchases on your phone, instead of leaving your Google
Checkout wide open for anyone that picks up your device?
If you have kids, or your phone is stolen, this is one awesome feature to have and really, it makes a lot of sense. You can get the new Market .apk here, root access is not required. but you will need Unknown Sources enabled in the Settings -> Applications menu to install it.

Try using the flashable version. Sometimes there is a problem replacing the market provided with whatever rom you use. I usually have to use that method with my vibrant!

[App Installer] Aroma App Installer (1/8/13)

As some of you may have noticed, I started a thread in the general section about this and I finally finished it. Even though Titanium Backup makes restoring apps easier, this will allow you to do so from recovery right after flashing your rom. I will continue to add apps that are requested and remove any that are not needed. Keep in mind that this is more of an essential app pack and I will not be adding every single app in the market as I don't want the file too large. Feel free to suggest any apps that are free. I will not include paid apps for obvious reasons. The next update will have a folder to drop your own paid apks in. All apps up to date as of Jan 1st as far as i know. The following is a list of the first release:
(Note: Apps in Root Tools folder install to system)
Browsers: Dolphin, Firefox, Firefox Beta, Chrome
Media: Pandora, Quickpic
Misc: 1Weather (Very nice weather app)
Root Tools: Ad Free, Android Tuner Free, Battery Calibration 1.2 by Nema, Build Prop Editor, CPU Spy, Kernel Tuner, MD5 Checker, No Frills CPU, Quickboot, System Tuner, Titanium Backup (of course)
SMS: Go SMS Pro, Handcent SMS
Social: Facebook, Google+, XDA App
Storage: Box, Dropbox, Google Drive
Tools: Astro File Manager, Battery Monitor Widget, Cache Cleaner, ES File Explorer, Solid File Explorer
Special thanks to commandersafi for letting me use this. Head over to his page and hit the Thanks button at the very least. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859221
Thanks to amarullz of course for creating aroma installer!

AGREED.
I'm hoping someone can do the Tethering Entitlement hack. I did some looking into and it should just be deleting the check under /res/values/array.xml in framework-res.apk. I already decompiled and recompiled with the fix but I can't figure out how to replace the framework without a boot loop.

The same is required by ad service to show you apps available in your area. Please be rest assured as we use reputed agency.
Paid version will have more feature including the ones greyed out in this version. We will release paid version with a trial period of 15 days so that users can try it out before they decide to purchase it. The paid version in future updates will also have features like bubble themes, theme store etc.

I think you are new to all this, everyone in this world who has ads in build will have this. Nothing gets captured only just to see which app is available in your location that is it. I will see if we can get rid if this part.
Rest is all your choice no one is forcing.

Normally I'd tend to agree, but I have no apps with these types of ads. I use an adblocker with hosts solution. Seems to be enough for me.

Keeping in mind the user feedback, we have removed the location access from the app which was only available to provide better ads management and nothing else.
The new version 1.1 can be downloaded from Xposed repo download section or the first post of this thread.
You should remove the ads completely and just offer a trial. I won't even download 1.1 because of the terribly intrusive ads.

Bro i will be releasing a pro version with 15 days trial. Its almost complete, few adjustments to be made. As far as this one is concerned i think you are over reacting as it only shows ads twice one in the start and other at the exist. Rest it is your personal choice and i respect your decision.

During last few day's I have seen lots of review about Hangouts Theme engine, and why it has ads....
Well I have my own opinion about this topic and that isn't concerned with the Devs moto for this app.
First of all I think this app is just a standalone app which doesn't need to keep open and use it... U just have to open this when u want to change/edit your theme...and I have seen the ads comes only on entry and exit time, does it brings ads in Hangouts app ? I think NO.... So does it really matters ?
This is unique app does brilliant job to mod #hangouts.
Does we think ever that the Dev has spend so many hours to build this app ?
Anwys  from my side.
I am using this app and it's good working fine ... Ads doesn't matter it I love the work what it actually does...

Snapcheck checks for Xposed (because of Snapprefs), but I guess they don't check for the app. Just noting that for anyone who tries it; saving time.
Hy there,
This module caused a heavy lag/freeze and bootloop for me. Managed start the phone again (idk how), and removed it from xposed, now everything's working fine.
Phone: Sony Z2 (D6503) with pre-rooted android MM (6.01)
This works perfect to hide @Shaftamle keyboards from play services so they don't fc. Thank you!!
Did it works for hide Snapchat?
Android Pay would be another nice app if this would work using this method. I know I've tried others like root cloak etc. and other methods but they don't work unfortunately.

Hello,
Sadly it's still laggy, and still causes bootlop.
I try to post a log from mega (file was too big for pastebin, and I don't know how to upload it here yet)
mega.nz/#!EYcklQBK!thsSDn0V7CS4lykUTdFr6gP9g27OOjQQsAYGW2Wtx8k
And ofc I don't have enough posts
Tried hiding Messenger from Facebook and it worked lol.
Tested on Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 TW 4.4.2
Just a little suggestion ....
Add a little note for example; color the row of the app that's been hidden from any other app so you know which apps are hidden just by opening the main apps menu.

Great to hear, seems like a nice suggestion, I'll look into it as soon as I can.
Thanks for the feedback

If i can suggest one more thing [emoji5] ...
When you select an app from the main menu, then get into the 2nd internal one; remove the auto focus on the text box so that you dont have to see the keyboard everytime.
And show a toast message to say for example "the app is hidden now" when you press the button.
Thanks so much for your work.

upload new versions if you'd like to check again. it fixed a bootloop on my device which happened after a system crash (some weird case)
turns out it was class cast exception on a return argument, and the caller turned out to be system app.
