Im interessted in using miracast, but would like to be sure first if miracast is compatible with omnirom or any other rom and also is possible on a rooted device with android 4.2 or above?

Wrong section friend and since Nexus 7 is aosp (my friend with n7 says it is aosp so this isnt my personal experience) flashing an aosp rom might one of the solutions

Except for btk(I knowingly didn't put it), ink effect, and the crt toggle, I have everything else in that ROM and even more.
Edit: I also use xwlsn like that guy. I will most probably put in ink effect also.

Works fine on ProBAM for the 2 minutes I used it. Will test more when I need a camera

what? you just shortened what I've said. Focal will ONLY work for CM/AOSP based roms, not for sammy roms eg; omega etc2

Seems like something good in the making! If they can get this app stable, CM will rule over all the other ROMS. The camera is its only drawback. This is the start of great things!
Worked perfect on Mibox 1.20 Hybrid N7105. Superb quality pics until I tried to use panorama and now says can't connect to camera

I have a HTC sensation right now and over there they already have a 3.4 kernel which is a bit better than 3.0.xx and soon I hopefully get a galaxy s2 and wasn't sure if it had one too because here are more developers
