I tried to use foldermount but whenever my phone needs to reboot or power off the app causes the phone to continue to reboot constantly and I have to uninstall the app which makes the apps I did do pairing with useless and needing to be reinstalled.

I have never seen that issue with Folder Mount. What version are you using and what ROM?

I use gl2sd, works perfect for me.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slf.ListglApp

Software bug? Swipe doesn't work in Google play store

I noticed that the swipe (Xperia Int. Keyboard, not SwYpe) on my Xperia Z ultra works everywhere except for Google play store. Interestingly, it works in Play store on my Xperia ZL. Did anyone notice that or am I missing something?
I ve noticed the same issue.
Maybe it's because the names of the apps are not dictionary based so any suggestion or correction of the spelling is goin to guide us to different results and that, is not "fair" for non dictionary-based named apps.
My guess

Same here. I noticed that quite early on, but I didn't think any of it. What's the use of a dictionary in the Play Store?

Hide root?

Got one app (barclays mobile Banking) which won't install if it detects root. I've seen a couple of xposed modules which hide root but comments say they don't work. Anyone know of anything?

Nah, i only know about the same Xposed modules that you mentioned. Have you tried some of those though? Maybe one of them will work.

Yeah, will try them I guess. Which one do you use? I'm looking at RootCloak if youve heard of it?

I'm not using any, but I've only read about them. Is RootCloak the on for Xposed?

I don't know if OTA rootkeeper will help you. It's the only app I know that hides root, but I don't if it works on the Ultra or not.

You have to choose the option to temporarily unroot, which allows apps such as Sky Go to work. Once you have finished using Sky Go, and similar apps, you can unhide root and have full root privileges again.

Unfortunately doesn't work with barclays mobile Banking app for others info. Don't know what procedure they do to check root but it seems pretty thorough. Shame.

O use SuperSU to hide root on my Tablet Z. Works fine.

Already running out of space on my internal card. Any way to move the apps to the SD card without root? I've been show to root this time because I haven't found a great root method yet.

I think apps like that dont work because 4.4.2 doesnt alow writing of data to your SD
You can use xposed to fix that

is that xposed is an application?where I can find it?
You do need root so this is the only problem
Here is the app
http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
You want a module called "handle external storage"

Unfortunately I lost my backup of the previous apk version. Anyway, I'm quite sure you'll find the apk if you search via Google.

if you had the old version installed and you updated you could try going into your /data/app and copying both the apks and seeing which one is the old one
you need a file explorer and you may need root access
Here is the 1.0.A.1.8 Lifelog original apk from Sony.
Thanks a lot
