Installation instructions
1. Download the latest build
2. Download the latest SlimGapps 4.4.x or other 4.4 specific gapps
3. In recovery, full wipe, and manually format /system
4. Flash ROM and the gapps you want, reboot
Note 1: This rom comes with DPI set at 245. This will make the fonts/icons smaller than usual there are many ways to change this to the stock 320... Edit: The latest builds have a DPI adjuster in Settings/Interface/
Note 2: Superuser comes disabled by default! Please find the Dev Tools app in your app drawer, select Developer Options then look under "Debugging" for Root Access. select apps only or apps and ADB. (Btw ART is working great on this rom, if you would like to test it it is under Select runtime)
Note 3: Build's based off the new partition layout
YOU MUST FLASH AND RUN CAPTAINTHROWBACK'S SENSE 5 4.3 UPDATE ROM BEFORE FLASHING THIS
Or have used the RUU from HTC to upgrade to 4.13
REQUIREMENTS:
-HBOOT 2.10
-RECOVERY WITH NEW PARTITION LAYOUT
-FLASH AND BOOT INTO THE SENSE 5 4.3 ROM FIRST OR THIS WILL NOT WORK!
see Captain_Throwback's instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639180
Also once you do update everything you will need to do the HTC Unlock to be able to flash your recovery. Don't worry, you will still be S-Off, if you already were.
I have to say it again DO NOT FLASH THE BUILDS FOR THE NEW PARTITION LAYOUT UNLESS YOU HAVE PERFORMED THE UPGRADE TO THE LATEST SENSE 5 4.3 upgrade! You must actually flash the rom not just the recovery. You have been warned.
Changelogs can be found on the slimroms website
http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/news
Download Links: There are 2 versions of each build at the moment. I'm not sure how long I'll support the old Partition layout so it would be a good thing to upgrade to stay current. PLEASE pay attention to what you are downloading and Flashing.

-added cLock app from CM
SlimKat Weekly 2.6 RC2
http://d-h.st/9ai
Tweaks I added to this build:
-cherry picked "clear all" button to recents

SlimKat 4.4.x Gapps

SuperSU
http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
Gapps are the same and can be found here. The AIO gapps will work very well with TRDS if you use it:
http://slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/dlsearch/viewcategory/1150-addons4-4
And huge thanks to @Captain_Throwback and @xHausx for working on the parttion layout and @GoblinZ for helping me, help him.
There really is no reason to not update your Firmware, Hboot and recovery to have the new layout. It uses the storage the same way as newer devices and allows you to format your SD card to a different format if you desire.
Reminder: Any previous backups you have will not work on the new layout. But this is a great time to clean up your SD card and start fresh which will probably make things quicker in the long run.

I haven't seen any comments about data connectivity yet. This have the dropped data issues I'd read about with CM?
Thanks. ROM looks great.

Scott, my device isn't active anymore so I can't answer that.
My understanding though is that there may be a hang up on data when switching networks. Like 3g to LTE and vice versa. An airplane toggle resets it usually.
I also saw in a different thread that someone uses tasker to turn of mobile data when they arent using it. You could probably set it to turn data off for one minute every 20 minutes or so. You'd probably never notice it and wouldn't get stuck without a data connection.
Sent from my EVO using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I only have lte at work so usually driving when it switches to 3g but I haven't noticed any issues and WiFi to 3g works great to
()() <--- buck tracks

I have noticed the connection dropout requiring a data or airplane toggle to restart. This first build was a vanilla unmodified SlimKat. Future builds will integrate fixes to these and other issues.
SlimKat is being released in weekly increments so I will keep that release schedule.
Thank you all for the feedback!

Great Build
Great job on this build. I have been working on one myself, but I haven't actually gotten a successful build compiled. That aside, I haven't noticed any problems with this ROM at all. I haven't even noticed any data dropouts, although I'm not a heavy data user.

There were many changes to the Kit Kat builds of android to include selinux features. This requires an update to the recovery software. Please make sure to use either deck's patched TWRP or selinux capable TWRP.

ICS video :
What is King Kang?King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.

What is the future going to be like for King Kang?
Currently, it is heavily rooted in AOKP as its main base. As the ROM progresses, it will grow and extend its functionality. Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs is currently myself and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.

Rules (and I mean it)
1_Please be smart !
some features of aokp over power the pa ones
For instance you cant get into tablet ui without first allowing it inside rom control
Dual Panel view in settings is dependant of ROMControl .
2_Wipe 3 times flash again and report later .
3_IF I can not replicate the bug even if 3 of you have the same one go to rule one , eventually it will solve it self .
4_Error still there ? Logcats or gtfo
5_Please dont answer or trollusers who cant read whats next just poitn them to this thread ..
PLEASE READ :These releases will NOT include ParanoidPreferences.apk . I will not get into details why its not included in the rom.
But , know this : it is NOT warez ....
so any one can upload to his host of choice I will link it in the op..
otherwise yall know where to get the app .
just push it to system/app ( I didnt even had to reboot nor fix permissions but I do recommend it) .

I just popped in to tell you that you are missing 1 "zoom" from the title. This is probably due to a technical limitation, I don't know. It's just my job to inform people on the Internets when they make a small mistake. Larger mistakes are forwarded to my wife.
I've been flash free for almost a week now...enjoying JamieD's Paranoid ROM.

Same here. Default keyboard seems to be full size (recognition-wise) but appearance is single handed - that is why there is a discrepancy between where you press on the keyboard vs the button being triggered (as far as I can tell). Tried GO Keyboard - same thing. The discrepancy increases for buttons on the right.
For people having keyboard problems set DPI in AOKP settings to whatever you like and then reboot. It worked for me.
Omgooooodnesss more aokp!! Thank you!!

Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED, Slim ROM, Root-Box, ChameleonOS, and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it
Features:
Devil Kernel
Twrp 2.5
Gcc 4.7
Advanced Settings hack to turn it into an app
AOKP Riboons
Built in Gestures
Side Bar from ChameleonOS

Just to remove confusion about settings they are in domination tab and at the top tabs you can swipe over its at least 6 in each section there are more than enough settings and this ROM has built in gestures no need to pay for a launcher . its impossible to explain all the features one could enjoy just download and get dominated.
Going to test slim email , fix build error or is it me and merge some more cm things and have fun.

Very glad, just wish it had twrp with it. Im not used to having the recovery flash with the rom. Is there a specific reason for having the recovery with the rom, or just a preference of the dev? I know when i have compiled for my tablet or used roms for it the recovery was separate. Not complaning one bit, just genuinly curious

Awesome!! But I have to know before I flash, are the Bluetooth issues fixed in the latest build of SlimBean 4.2.2 present in this 4.3 build as well (hands-free calling finally working which was fixed in latest build of 4.2.2 as well as streaming music working fine just as before but with tags now due to Android 4.3 which finally added Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 support - display song names on a car stereo).
Will be trying it out. It took a half hour to figure out why I couldn't get media fire to download...I had to turn off my adblocker.
Backing up and then installing now. Will let you know how it is.
Those this ROM work with gsm?

It looked great when I installed it. Though the DPI seemed to be a bit off. However, I lost ROOT after completing boot. Has anyone had the same issue?
I'm on Verizon.

Ok, installed and added root per FAQ, sorry.
4.3 works great. I got incredibly fast GPS lock, and after changing the DPI to 480 it looks amazing. BT in car works well for me as well. I'd almost say it feels more clear than Slim 4.2 v8.
The only thing of note that was weird for me was "Navigation" is gone. You have to just use Google Maps and you eventually get to the same thing, just without the app.
I'll probably try crpalmer kernel later tonight and post feedback.

Google got rid of our the "separate" navigation. It was actually a shortcut to Google maps navigation. It is now "built in" to the app. Play around with it and you will figure out how to find the navigation.

I take absolutely no responsibility for what you do with your own device!
Please backup first!
ABOUT:
Well since the old thread is now almost 500 pages, I figured I would make a new thread for the conversion of Project Infinity to Lollipop! The old thread would still be maintained for the Kitkat (Android 4.4.2) version. If you would like that version or need support then please visit the old thread here however it will no longer be updated. The new Rom is now based on the international version BOA3 Framework (Polish). Although it is incredibly powerful and highly modified this far, it will stay in beta status until the official (stable) framework is released for our device from T-mobile in which the Rom will quickly be converted to the new framework and updated to stable.
Of course as always, I will look into any and all requests and suggestions given and do my best in updating it extremely frequently. Also if you know of any mods, aps etc. that you would like included into the Rom than please post it in the thread or send me a PM and I will add it..

Please Note: This ROM is and independent project of one person, not a team of people. This rom is worked on in my free time and (as like all devs) I do not get any compensation. All requests will be considered and most fullfilled but may take a while to implement. Please make sure that you hit like below and rate this thread 5 stars. Please treat everyone with respect in the thread.
If you would like to contribute, I will implement most mods or tweaks that are offered and proper gratitude will be posted in the op.If you have knowledge of app or theme development and would like to assist in side projects for this rom please send me a pm.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1) Update your bootloader and modem to the latest version available
2) Reboot your phone into your choice of custom recoveries (twrp or CWM)
3) Perform a factory reset of your device and insure that it erases your data, cache and dalvik caches and system.
4) Install the rom and let it guide you through the easy to follow Aroma installer to customize your installation.
5) Reboot and go get some coffee, The first boot can take a looooong time. Sit back and wait, it will eventually finish.
6) When the setup begins, I recommend to wait a few minutes to insure that your data starts properly. If you have any issues with your data or signal than please see known issues below.
KNOWN ISSUES:
Data/Sim Card Bug - This is a known issue with all TW Lollipop frameworks that were released so far. It involves the SIM Card not properly being recognized upon first boot. You will notice the data and signal icons rapidly connecting and disconnecting. When you try and turn off and on data, you get a notice that says SIM card cannot be found. In my experience, the easiest way of fixing this is to simply do a fully wipe of system, data, dalvik and cache and then try re-flashing. In my tests this bug occurred randomly two out of five installs.
THANKS:
I would like to send a sincere thank you to the below individuals for there contributions to Project Infinity
If you feel that you work was included and I have now properly credited you, it was not intential. Sometimes I add things at a rapid pace
and forget where I got them from. Please send me a PM immediately and I will add you as soon as possible..

image by anseboviThis rom was compiled by me only, Scott.Hart.bti has done the real work!
I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and ScottHart.BTI has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions come from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and wallpapers!
Interested in Porting/Building BeanStalk on another device?

Please give first boot a good few minutes.
***For a complete listing of all supported BeanStalk devices and downloads, please visit www.goo.im/devs/beanstalk***
***Please keep in mind that this is the initial release and bugs are to be expected. I am working on this myself and do not have a team that is helping me. Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. Im going to say this once and only once... I am doing this for fun. It is my CHOICE to share my work with everyone. If you decide that you do not like my work, good for you.. Move on and flash something else. I will not tolerate ungrateful people in my thread.***
[*]Make sure you are rooted with a custom recovery & on "UCMD3" Modem!!
[*]Download both the BeanStalk build and the latest GAPPs package.
[*]Boot into recovery
[*]Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe /system and dalvik cache as a precaution
[*]Flash BeanStalk build
[*]Flash GAPPs package
[*]Reboot
[*]You will NEED to FLASH SuperSU by itself until I have the time to fix the one built into my rom.

This has been a long road but finally!!NOTICE: THIS BUILD HAS KITKAT BEANSTALK IMAGES & BOOTANI!!!
The reason for this is because BeanStalk WILL NOT boot on this device with the 5.0 parts for some strange reason?
NEW BUILD with Beanstalk papers & bootani from kitkat!
Sweet ROM. Hope you can get the boot ani from LP going....it's killer!
Edit: 2 Notes. To get the pull down tiles to show, go to Smart Pull Down and set it to anything but "Off".
To get Weather to show in the pull down....turn on the Weather toggle and then tap the null-null in the pull down.....that will take you to the Weather Settings.

had to install SuperSU-v2.45 thru recovery to gain root.

I believe that we need to repartition the device for our gapps & maybe for the bootani as well. I've been looking at doing this but I need to find a stock "pit" file so I can proceed. If you could point me to that file then we could possibly flash any gapps and have the 5.0+ bootani with wallpapers.

If you would like to mess around & see what all will work from 5.0 & up I'd be happy to add those things back into my BS builds? Like the bootani & wallpapers. When I add supersu the way Scott has it setup it always gives an error when flashing so I am trying to implement it into my rom like in my others. I'm always busy but open for suggestions to make my work better or whatnot. Also did you see my post about a pit file? Not really sure how much that would help users but it would allow us to flash the full gapps if we desired to do so.

I've looked around and from what I can tell you need to be running stock firmware to extract the pit file. I doubt it will be of any use but there is a pit file for the rogers variant of the i717 on the gsmhosting forums
