BUGS
I have not changed anything, but ported the beanstalk rom.
The bugs are same as those in artas182x's CM11 build.
Like, camera FC when opening the last taken pic from the camera app and returning back.
I never got GPS working (device only mode) in any of the CM roms.
So I can't confirm if it is working or not. Please and test and check.
Starting Screenrecorder causes phone to reboot.
PS: I'm not a regular developer. I just followed a few tutorials to build this rom because I missed Halo.
As such, bugs will most probably be fixed after they are fixed in other builds.

Flashed it, testing now. Will report any bug I will find.
Internal SD is unfortunately ON in case someone is wondering.
And yes, it took some time, but GPS locked just fine.

Just flashed. All works good.
Rom is smooth and insanely fast, battery life seems to be good also.
I will test it deeply in these days.
BTW very very good job!!
Thank you so much!!

Well i came back to stock. for now until your next build because of the emulated sd. I suggest you to swap memories instead of disable the internal. Like in artit´s rom
But i like this rom is very fast, i couldnt test battery but it seems to be ok, and the customization options are awesome.
Waiting the next build. for me this could be the best cm rom for now. :good:
i tested on p768 using camera patch and nfc disable zip

@jufece
Is this ROM any faster or smoother than atas' version?
Basicly, I'm wondering how different these two ROMs are.

The ROM is basically cm 11 with extra mods and tweaks. So the performance might not be much different from artas182x's rom.
Sent from my LG-P760 using xda app-developers app

Thanks you for making this.
I want to compile aokp myself, because i missed some features from it,but this is almost same
Keep it up!

Thanks. That's the reason I ported it too. I was missing halo, the black look and some customization options
Sent from my LG P765

Works, fine, thanks, testing...
Thanks Man! You are greatmaster!
I'm installed qiuckly. And testing now.
Keep your work!
Are you planning further updates and developments?

Hekko. Very bery nice rom, man. I also found a bug. When u listening music and want to unlock the phone the sound crashes. P760.

Thank you.
I haven't experienced the music bug you mentioned. Is there a way to recreate it?
There is a music bug in CM11 rom where music stops randomly. Maybe that's the bug you encountered?
Cheers

"this rom is faster and smoother than artas" I agree -- still testing , I'll check those sound cracking asap .

Hey. Sorry for mistakes . Haven't noticed them when I was writing.
Here, I uploaded the sound to u for better understanding what I am talking about. It happens, when u listen music and lock/unlock the phone.

Cheers

What is the amount of RAM available? Is it 850MB like ROM compiled by artas, or is it 768MB like on stock ROM?
Also gapps file has been deleted.

No i haven't added artas182x's ram hack.
I'll try adding it in the next build

Im a noob, how does hwcomposer not working affects the system, it is slow? gliches in 3d apps or something like that?
Oh, and btw, can i use the apps (camera, dropbox, etc) without an sd card? I'm having that trouble with other roms (those apps says i have no sd card and force close, but i got 5+GB of free internal space).
Thx in advance, waiting your answer in order to flash! :good:

Yes that's what hwcomposer is. Some apps will not work without an sdcard because that is where they store their info.

Still, need sd card to use some apps, i dont get it, maybe safetrap related or even Jelly bean, but i can't access my music on internal storage, neither connect to pc as massive storage.
PD: Lack of HW composer is noticiable. some gliches in menus, didnt open an app, as i wont use this rom (since cant use internal storage :/)

I just flashed your ROM and I found out that Whatsapp cannot use.
The following alert appears on whatsapp.
Note: Tablets are not currently suppored.

Same with whatsapp, both original and +, complains about tablet.
And as for me downloading apps updates from play via WiFi is slow. Speedtest shows 10mbps on wifi. Apps downloading way faster via HSDPA.
Overall i love that rom, switched from CM10 builds. Any chance that we see fixed hwComposer soon?

After a lot of (mostly failed ) testing, reading and porting, here is my second ROM. It is based on parts from nAa´s MiniCM10, yair25´s x8 PAC-Man ROM, which I modified to fit our phone better, and my own ROMs.
PA + AOKP + CM = PAC-Man
PAC-Man is a combination of three of the most popular android ROMs out there, offering the best features of each of them!
Features:
-JB 4.1.2
-AOKP ROM Control
-Paranoid Android Settings
-CM settings
-EXTREMELY customizable
-pretty smooth for being a heavyweight JB ROM
-gapps inluded
Notable Bugs:
-The DPI size in the PA-Preferences app is always at 0 and can´t be changed
-The USB storage app (android.process.media) force closes, resulting in not being able to
properly acess the sdcard from your PC
-otherwise, pretty much the same bugs as on most JB ROMs for our device...
If you find any other bugs, please report, I´ll do my best to fix them.
If you find the solution to the above bugs, or have any suggestions to fixing them, please tell me, I´ll add you to credits list .
What you need:
-an unlocked bootloader
-the latest nAa kernel (currently nAa-05)
-the PAC-Man_mimmi zip on your sd

INSTRUCTIONS:
-make a backup
-manually wipe data, cache, sd-ext, system via recovery

Oh, and for all who can't post in this forum, reporting over PM is also accepted.
What exactly is PAC-Man???
PAC-Man combines the best feautures of ParanoidAndroid, AOKP and Cyanogenmod in one ROM. The various options can be found in Settings:
ParanoidAndroid allows the user to switch between Tablet/Phone UI as well as customizing the size and layouts of many apps.
Phone UI: Tablet UI:
AOKP is an extremely user-friendly ROM that allows customization of many, many aspects of the ROM(check out the Lockscreen!!!)
CyanogenMod (I´m sure I don´t have to tell you about CyanogenMod )
I could give a detailed description on how to use all the options, but, come on, finding out yourself is the most fun!!!
NOTES:
Due to the tiny screen of our phone, some of the settings offered in this ROM might result in rendering your phone unusable or only partially usable. I recommend anyone using this ROM to first take maybe half an hour and try out the different settings of this ROM to see which make teh Phone better and which don´t.
Recommended settings:
AOKP:
-menu unlock(to be able to get into your phone if the Lockscreen is only partially displayed)
CM:
-Disable notification Power widget, or you´l have two in your status bar (AOKP + CM)
Paranoidandroid:
-Phone UI or Tablet UI (Phablet UI sometimes lets apps freak, but you´ll have to try for yourself)

[ROM][UB][JB 4.2.2]Official P.A.C MAN | Build from source

P A C man ALL IN 1
Description
After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working on it daily to fill the missing parts.
Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom. It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the right order.

PACman FAQ
PIE FAQ
Q. What is PIE?
A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.
Q. How do I access Pie?
A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.
Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.
Q. How do I change PIE colors?
A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.
Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.
Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.
ROM FAQ
Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.
Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.
Q.How do I turn on the Navigation Bar??
A.To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.

Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. Try a backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.
Q.What is a Experimental Build?
A. Experimental Builds are Linaro builds including O3 strict-aliasing optimizations with highly optimized TWRP recovery and a Over and Under clocked Recovery. They may get updated every week or so. These Builds can be potentially harmful to your device and are not supported by the dev by any means
Q.Can we flash this on Locked Bootloader?
A. No, This requires custom kernel and can never be flashed on locked bootloaders

Finally!! PACman rom based on 4.2.2! Seems pretty smooth... All the cm10.1 bugs are there, launcher redraws, RAM management, bluetooth not working... Also the camera doesn't work... Halo seems a bit laggy.... Rest all features seem to be working(the ones I tried till now do, anyway). Overall a pretty good job bringing the rom together!!:good:
Edit: Deep sleep doesn't work either.
if you want to report a bug, pls do a logcat, so dev can be helped to fix it.
btw good job @percy_g2!

Runs very well till now. Halo together wit PIE is amazing.
Just as a "noob-question" - maybe you could take camera from CM10.1 and bluetooth from CM10?

Flashed 4.3 today
Flash did not go well - random reboots and WiFi would not stay connected. Battery drained very fast. I did not see a pattern and as a dumb noobi did not get a logcat of the events. System was behaving like earlier versions of CM 10.2. However, great graphics for boot animation. Most current version of 10.2 (9/5/13) is pretty stable and bug free. I went back to CM 10.2 and will try this a little later.
well i tried your other 4.3 rom and it was great, but it didnt have aosp toggles which i was used to, and dont plan on changing soon, and voila this rom has it
does this rom also have halo and the lockscreen gesture i previously mentioned on other thread? if yes, then its perfect
EDIT: are you freaking kidding me, it has both already although old version of halo :victory: and its super smooth plus love the animations... might stay on this as a daily driver if proven stable, hope you keep building, i used to use liquidsmooth till support was dropped
EDIT 2: a few bugs from a short while of testing, bootanimation isnt resized correctly (no worries) and can't install an app with halo turned on (this old problem wasfixed on other roms)
EDIT 3: When i turn on settings buttons always show on status bar (so there is settings button and quick settings plus halo , it doesn't fit the screen like it does on other roms

I absolutely agree with @alkspo Best 4.3 ROM till date... :victory: :victory: :victory:
tried many others but battery backup was horrible...
But with this ROM It lasts me for 2 days with normal usage..
Had some trouble with cell broadcast... deleted that apk.. now fine
The Boot animation is slightly out of the screen... Which is OK for me :good: :good: :good:

Its a CM bug I guess.... usually had this issue in CM Roms..
What happens is a Message Keeps on popping on the screen with gibberish unreadable text.
It is irritating as hell ... even changing the settings doesnt help..
best way to avoid this is to delete the CellBroadcastReceiver app using titanium backup or root explorer..
Hey I just installed your ROM and it works great..! Just one thing... After a while rotation doesn't work and this happens with all aosp roms. Any ideas..?

Yes, to my understanding it's off (edit-no it isn't) which is awesome. Thanks a lot.
A question though - You wrote that gapps are included. I can't locate neither Play Store nor GMail. I'm not very familiar with MIUI though. Is it missing or am I doing something wrong?
Edit- Flashed gapps 4.2.2 and it's working nice until now
It's amazing! Thank you so much!
Could you use Aroma installer for choosing phone model, google apps, enable nfc?Because I have a p765,with no nfc. And in China most of google app can't connect to server,so google apps are useless for me.
@Daycrawler oh yes there is no gapps in rom (i was preparing two roms in the same time, so descriptions they were similar i forgot to erase that line)
@WenRen make rom heavy as hell then upload it for hours every friday, sorry not works for me i have poor net speed, gapps are downloadable from goo.im
Which GAPPS?

Hello ZduneX25 Master!!
Which GAPPS version works well? http://goo.im/devs/paranoidandroid/roms/gapps/Archived%20Versions/pa_gapps-full-4.2-20130715-signed.zip Is this works???
Or this? gapps-jb-4.2.2-miui.zip
Otherwise, great ROM!
Works great, no crashes...
Wonderful themes.
Bluetooth pairings and GPS, I have not been tested.
Keep your work!
God bless!
Did you do a good job, there will be repairs, improvements will be?

Well, you did a full data / factory reset + wipe dalvik + format system processes before install?
@JulianJenner there are two packages i would recommend:
1) miuiandroid's one: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miui...miuiandroid_gapps-4.2.2-small_signed-8012.zip (small pack)
2) google's one: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130812-signed.zip (full pack)
i built this rom for a friend of mine and once it booted we decided to keep this project alive (it was about 2 weeks ago) and yes that is the deal to fix bugs

Thank you for your response.
I only have one question.
Among the well-known kernels, modified with either one?
(Little bit of choice governor [interactive only], I / O schedulers are only 3 base [noop, deadline, cfq]).
So, we can use a different kernel?
Thank you so much!
JJ
@JulianJenner AOSP base author @mikegapinski prepared kernel for this miui, basically miui needs some extra stuff in kernel to boot, so there is not many compatibile ones i think you have to try yourself
I see.

two questions: does anybody know name of the app which suppose to fix proximity sensor? and second question / request to developer: can you pls add miui weather app (with bz weather app from market it works and thanks for that all miui clock widget can support weather)
edit: one more request: camera app doesn't seem to have option to save photos on external sd card - can you add such a functionality?
other than that all seems work fine, many thanks for great new miui rom

It's not about fixing proximity sensor - it will not work. All you can do is to get an app which will turn the screen off during calls so you don't reject while you're talking over the phone.
Maybe

Maybe Proximity Sensor Finder.apk - not work
I'll try Proximity Screen Off Pro v5.3 for manual on-off... - not work
The screen stays ON. Through during the phone call.
