I know I saw that and I also used Google translate but it wasn't much helpful. It's talking about unlock ID solution patch or something. Can't figure out what it unlocks or patches. Oh well. It looks important/interesting though.

wow, is this official AT&T test KK 4.4.2 firmware?
Mirrors please!
Wow!
Warning for n00bs: using dd method to write data is dangerous, one typo can brick your device.
I imagine the only way to write this is over ADB while device is in recovery mode. Doing this from terminal while device is booted could cause a lock up, and then you might be in big trouble.
Also you might not want to flash someone else's EFS partition, etc..
Unlocked Bootloader? so much wow!

Will you be able to confirm if this has an unlocked bootloader or not? I'm very interested but I am still watching youtube videos on how to develop a rom so I'm just starting out.

Need to register with Baidu to download big files. system is almost 3gb, cache is 2gb. I can't verify my account because the captch is in chinese.
Can anyone mirror those?
If this turns out to be be unlocked bootloader for 4.3 and/or 4.4 , I think this man deserves a donation, if not the entire bounty.
I'll be waiting for others to test, as I am still running virgin stock.
Cheers.

If this is test kk it may not be locked yet someone download it and I'll mirror it ASAP

Help with munjeni's kernel on GB

I followed the original post but I think I may have done it slightly differently than I should have LOL.
1. I unlocked my bootloader
2. I downloaded the V6 zip file in the original post (v6_bootimg_6.0.B.3.184_+_Clockworkmod_recovery.zip)
3. I unzipped the files to C:\Fastboot\Fastboot\
4. From within C:\Fastboot\Fastboot\ I opened a DOS window and ran "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and it appeared to work successfully.
5. I then used the following to root my phone:
adb remount
adb push su /system/xbin/
adb push busybox /system/xbin/
adb install Superuser.apk
adb shell
cd /system/xbin
chmod 6755 su
chmod 6755 busybox
/system/xbin/busybox --install -s /system/xbin/
Is what I have done okay or should I have copied the entire 'v6_bootimg_6.0.B.3.184_+_Clockworkmod_recovery.zip' file to my SD card and updated from there or is it okay what I did by just fastboot flashing the boot.img?
Sorry for the sillyness and thanks in advance for any help...
You can first flash the kernel through fastboot or flashtool, then you can flash super user and busybox through cwm.... Here's a zip-

Thanks for your reply. However, please read my first post again. I have flashed the kernel using fastboot and also now have root access using the steps I outlined. I guess I just need to know if this is right or if I should have copied the entire zip file to my SD card and flashed from there?

If you have root & busybox installed you can run this script.
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
busybox mount -t vfat -o umask=0000 /dev/block/vold/179:61 /mnt/sdcard
busybox sleep 3
if busybox mount | grep vold/179:61; then
mount -o bind /data/media /storage/external_SD
rm /storage/external_SD/external_sd
chmod -R 777 /sdcard
chmod -R 777 /data/media

place this file "swapint2ext.txt" on your sdcard and type the following
with a terminal emulator
Code:
su
./sdcard/swapint2ext.txt [B](if on your internal sdcard)[/B]
./sdcard/external_sd/swapint2ext.txt [B](if placed in your external sd)[/B]
with adb
Code:
adb shell
su
./sdcard/swapint2ext.txt [B](if on your internal sdcard)[/B]
./sdcard/external_sd/swapint2ext.txt [B](if placed in your external sd)[/B]
There is a lot more info on the subject in the general section. Look for the titles starting with swap internal or something similar. There are like 3 different threads on the subject. I'll send you a link later with some more info, but that will be later later

Hi,
i have "don´t permission", when i type this one in terminal emulator.
Any idea? My phone is rooted. I rename the "swapint2ext.txt in .sh", is this correct? And the path is "sdcard0", is this also correct?
And also i try to execute the "swapint2ext.sh" with the Root Explorer. Works fine, but i can´t install Fifa 14 for example. Not enough place...

if you factory reset then you will loose adb shell on boot!!!
So do not factory reset....
first of all try to use AiO Tools to install rescue back-door
then try: See FAQ if not sure how to set up adb etc
adb shell
su
chmod 644 /system/build.prop
exit
exit
adb reboot
(See if that helps. This will work if you had not set the permissions correctly)
If no then
adb shell
su
cp /system/build.prop /sdcard/build.prop
exit
exit
adb reboot
(Then insert sd card into pc and edit the build.prop as needed)
Then put back into the tablet and:
adb shell
su
mv /system/build.prop /system/bulid.prop.bak
cp /sdcard/build.prop /system/build.prop
chmod 644 /system/build.prop
exit
exit

Yes providing you act stupid and tell them that it failed when you tried the latest update.
Hopefully they don't notice and you will be okay

The build.prop has to get pulled to sdcard1.
If that tweak was not applied then ADB pull has to be done and the build.prop file has to be in the internal storage.
