Port from Mogu M3, check this out NeedROM, search Mogu M3
thanks, i'm ported from MOGU M3A but if i delet some chinesse app i got bootloop (like baidu apps). whats wrong can you help me ??
u must try, try & try to got fix trial & error this rom.

Dear Senior Developers,
I tried MIUI4 Custom ROM on my XOLO A700 MediaTek 6577 . I am facing problem while i am in roaming network. "android.com.UI stopped working" has been poping up and not registering in the network. In home network phone works grt. Can any senior members help me to debug this issue. I downloaded the Custom ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483292. As i am a junior member i am not able to reply in that post itself.

hmm.... i have one MIUI ROM ported for my own devices (MT6572).... but some minor bug still remain.

Hey, im using mt6572 with ubifs. How can i port an ext4 rom to my phone? Please help

Copy meta.inf
Boot.img
Bin/vold/ipod
Etc/fw/partission permission.sh
Lib/modules/hw
User/keylayout/generic.klkl
Then in build.prop change ur lcd density
In meta.inf updater copy setperm lines to
Zip flash

Im done with that thanks but im getting error like this
"expected args 3, got 4"
Btw, im using CTR recovery since i dont have my flashable stock rom. Im using updater-script from minion rom since its in ubifs format. Could you please upload your updater script for ubifs? pleeeeease Or are there any ways to format my partitions as ext4 sorry for the questions XD I hope you can bear with me.

Hey friends i have installed android 2.3.7 rom on my karbonnA1 same as that of ZTE N721.. with some modification to ZTE RACER rom.. i was able to boot the rom ... but the issue is WIFI, Bluetooth, and network is not working . ? what i need to do now ?
Do I have to modify the kernel or any other solution is there ... help will be appreciated

rom i ported is based on CynogenMod-7.2.0-RC1 .... USB is also not working but i can charge through USB cable

u should upload rom you ported, i will test on my mmx a60 and will fix it.

What are the errors you facing ? Hope you have used Kash kernel .

when you wrote that you are trying to port from mt6582 to mt6589 , i guessed you are trying to port 4.4.2 and i hope my guess is 100% correct.
This was the reason i suggested you to use kash kernel which supports 4.4.2 . here is the link to kash kernel. Thanks to @kashifmin

I would recommend taking at the MTK Droid Root & Tools that will help you port a custom recovery to your Mediatek based device. For a basic introductory guide to ROM theming I would recommend checking out this guide from the XDA University.

No one can help you in the wrong section buddy. You need to first request for a forum for your device in the device request thread.
Dear Devs,
I need a help in porting cm12 ported by kashifmin to my device Xolo Q600 (mt6589) .. I tried replacing zimage in boot.img with jb zimage, kk zimage...but no one of these booted it...so devs.. Please help. Someone plz be kind enough to help me to port. I'm new in this cm stuff and earlier, I ported just normal Roms.. Plz someone help
