I Would Flash it any ways just to be safe
Place the WIFI/Modem tar in the PDA slot and flash and then it will reboot into Recovery and Flash Rom Reboot and Enjoy!
WIFI/Modem For VRUEMJ9 Must be flashed in Odin 3.07
I have Zipped up a Package Unzip it and it has the Odin and Wifi Official Modem VRUEMJ9

Bugs:
Please do not report bugs if you change the Kernel
Use Mods from Other places on this site they may not be Compatible
ONLY MJ9 Version Note II Mods will work with this Rom.
S4 Launcher Bugs/Compatibility Issues
The only thing the S 4 launcher Doesn't Do (The Wallpaper for the Lock Screen has to be Set through Gallery or Settings otherwise the Launcher will Force close)
Page Buddy doesn't work with S4 Launcher
Other than that the Launcher is Fully Functional.
Fix is to download the Launcher from Post
Unzip file Take the SecLauncher2.apk and Copy it in Root a Explorer
then go to system/app and find the SecLauncher3.apk and Delete that file and paste the Launcher2.apk and Reboot Make Sure you are R/W Not R/O to write to the system Done !

These are not flashables Manually Done Mods Work Great On this Rom I tested them all
S4 Launchers With Multi-Grid Home and Apps Drawers From Stock to Fully Modded
The only thing that doesn't work is if you try to set Lock screen wallpaper by long press on home screen TW launcher will Crash and then come back. The Reason is because its looking for the File configuration of the S4 Sorry couldn't find where if anyone knows hit me up.

Directions:
You Must Copy the Seclauncher3.apk to your ExtSdcard then use a Root File Explorer set to R/W and copy the Seclauncher3.apk and go to the system/app and look for Seclauncher3.apk and then paste the SecLauncher3.apk in the same system/app folder at the same time! Then reboot So the changes can take Effect.

If you want to remove the app you have installed Via Flashable download the zip file unzip and look at what it added and then use any Root File Explorer, Antex or ES File Explorer go to the places where the system/app, and system/lib have been added and delete then.
Reboot into Recovery Wipe - Dalvik Cache,Wipe – Cache to rebuild your VM and your done !

I'm testing the ROM out right now (it works well!).
Air view wasn't working for me.
I was wondering for the SMS, if it is possible to get the actual name and message instead of having the 'new message arrived' screen.
Sketchbook does not respond when opened.

You can change that in the settings of your messenger app. It's not rom specific.

When I went to set just the lock screen desktop via touchwiz, I got a force close...
Otherwise...so far so good. love the wallpapers....

No not at this time but I will make a flashable tonight to add the Note 3 keyboard but the gallaery is just Gallery2013apk and replace it with the other on ion system/app

take the LMT pie Flashable from my JellyWiz Post and Unzip it and use root explorer and Take LMT9,somthing.apk and delete it out of the system/app and then go into the lib folder and delete the lib files that are in the Zip I told you to download and unzip what ever is in there find it and take it out off hand I think its the LMT.apk in the system/app and the 1 lib file in the system/lib folder

Fixed Version 1 NO more reboots or Freezes Krowley3 found the fix for me the tami config file was going out to the kernel making requests for knox which wasn't there Error-ed out and Rebooted the Phone Some People Where having Freezes These Issues should ALL be resolved in this Version Try it and See for yourself

I was thinking and I always Liked Options so I made the Rom like this
I stripped away almost all the non needed apps and made flashables.
Made flashable add-ons to add back what you want back in your Rom.
These flashables only add the apps back in to system/app, system/lib, etc.
No mods are added with them Just whats needed to make the Apps run correctly.
I added some of my stuff I like to start the Rom out but the rest is yours.
I will be making more Mods for JellyWiz X that you can just flash to update your Rom.

Must DO if you are coming from 4.1.2 I Would Flash it any ways just to be safe
Place in the PDA slot and flash and then it will reboot into Recovery and Flash Rom Reboot and Enjoy!
WIFI/Modem For VRUEMJ9 Must be flashed in Odin 3

These are not flashables Manually Done Mods Work Great On this Rom I tested them all
S4 Launchers With Multi-Grid Home and Apps Drawers From Stock to Fully Modded
The only thing that doesn't work is if you try to set Lock screen wallpaper by long press on home screen TW launcher will Crash and then come back. The Reason is because its looking for the File configuration of the S4 Sorry couldn't find where if anyone knows hit me up.

You Must Copy the Seclauncher3.apk to your ExtSdcard then use a Root File Explorer set to R/W and copy the Seclauncher3.apk and go to the system/app and look for Seclauncher2.apk and rename it to Seclauncher2.apk.bak and then paste the SecLauncher3.apk in the same system/app folder at the same time!
Then reboot So the changes can take Effect.

If you want to remove the app you have installed Via Flashable download the zip file unzip and look at what it added and then use any Root File Explorer, Antex or ES File Explorer go to the places where the system/app, and system/lib have been added and delete then.
Reboot into Recovery Wipe - Dalvik Cache,Wipe – Cache to rebuild your VM and your done !

When it's like that u jus have to keep trying different mirrors that are under the download button on the page. I was getting only 100-200kb on all of em til one came open that's giving me 2-3Mbps now. I'll post one if I can get it uploaded to my Dropbox tonite in case I or anyone else may need it.

No nothing special. I've never had a prob with Wanam on any Rom unless I jus forgot to reboot after changing something, or got a new version of Xposed and forgot to update it again. There's a few things in there that are device specific too tho so watch out for that.

Third times the charm. This rom lacks wifi tether doesn't it? Shucks.
i wiped and wiped and wiped and it installed like nothing but a reboot had occurred. All the apps wallpaper everything. The build # changed and the framework app asked for su permission but everything else is the same from the stock deodexed Bean rom. Kind of worries me. Not even so much as a factory reset took place......?

I have set this ROM up to run smooth the way I like it. Hopefully it will fit your needs also. Feature request are ALWAYS welcomed. I am a bit of a perfectionist and want things to be RIGHT! Something not right, please let me know so I can address it!

Is there any way we can get some kind of list of what the removed files folder contains...I downloaded it and it seems like a pretty large file so it's obviously quite a bit of stuff. So before I flash the rom and or the removed files zip I was hoping for a list of at least like the major bits...obviously att bloat but any other major stuff would be appreciated greatly.

Blue tooth tethering is there but not tested.
I will make a list shortly of what's removed. You could download it and remove what you don't want from the zip before flashing.

Please Read!
First, You must already be running a KK rom to flash this. Must use Safestrap 3.75
Installation to Stock slot is Required. I will not support rom slots.

Download rom and or theme and place on SDCard.
Reboot Device and enter Safe Strap by pressing menu on screen during splash.
Factory Reset from wipe menu is preferred. However dirty flash should be ok!
Install Rom.zip.
Install theme.zip if your using one.
Reboot device ( allow up to 5 minutes for device to boot to Setup wizard).
Wait 5 minutes to allow device to settle.

Q. What is a clean flash?
A. Clean flash is as follows....
Boot to ss
Hit wipe
Slide to factory reset
Back out
Hit install
Find zip
Slide to install
This deletes everything except data. You will have to set the phone up again. All your pics and sounds and downloads are safe and will be there when you return.
Super clean install is as follows....
Boot to ss
Hit wipe
Hit advanced
Check all boxes except sdcard
Swipe to clean
Back out
Hit install
Find zip
Slide to flash
Reboot.
This will wipe everything on the phone, all pics, sounds, settings, everything will be gone, except the contents of the sdcard.
Q. What is a dirty flash?
A. Dirty flash is as follows...
Boot to ss
Hit install
Find zip file
Slide to flash
Reboot.
This deletes absolutely nothing, no wipe needed.
Q.What happens when I wipe data?
A.While in Safestrap if you select the "Wipe" button, you will then be taken to a screen with three options. Here is an attempt to somewhat clarify those options.
1. Swipe to Factory Reset - This is the most common way of wiping, and what is most commonly used for installing a new ROM. This option is considered a "Clean Flash".
2. Advanced Wipe - This option is used to specify partitions to wipe. It is generally okay to select all options here EXCEPT "Micro SDcard". This can also be used when doing a "Clean Flash".
3. Format Data - DO NOT USE the "Format Data" button. If you select it by accident you are going to be required to type the word "yes" to even proceed further. You have been hereby WARNED. If you refuse to heed this warning there is a good chance you will soft brick your phone.
Q. Can I flash to a slot?
A. Yes, you sure can. Expect bugs or issues, expect the reboot option in the power menu to NOT work.
Q. How do I flash a theme?
A. Flash the rom, then flash either S5 theme or GPE theme. You then can flash a color option for the GPE theme.
Q. How to I go back to stock?
A. Dirty flash the rom. (see above)
Q. Somethings are acting strange, is there a easy fix?
A. Boot to SS (safestrap) hit wipe, now hit advanced and check the cache and delvic cache box's ONLY! slide to wipe, reboot system.
Q. My signal is weak, is it the rom?
A. I highly doubt that, it's related to the modem and some are better than others depending where you are. Check out other Modems here.
Q. Where can I find the add-on'?
A. In the DK store. Hit menu/system settings/device then DK rom control.
Q. My battery life isn't very good, how can I find what's going on?
A. Download "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Then if you are still confused, take a screenshot and post it.
Q.What is that Bar on the top of my Status Bar?
A.That is the Miui Battery Bar, this can be altered or turned off in DK Rom Control under Status Bar Mods/Miui Battery Bar.
Q.Why do I have 2 batteries?
A.After first boot, You need to pick one to disable in Rom Control.
Q. How do I make my status bar transparent?
A. Go to the Rom Control and then tap status bar mods. Go down and tap "Status Bar Gradients." Now there should be 2 color options, just tap a color, then tap the box on the bottom right because that is the transparent. Do the same for the second color.
Q. Is off topic discussion allowed here?
A. Absolutely not, take it somewhere else..... Of course it's allowed here. We all love to chat, showoff, brag, and keep others in the loop. It's a big family in here!
Q. Reboot toggle isn't working?
A. It's a WIP, fix is in the works.
Q. How do I check apn settings?
A. Settings>Networks>More Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names
From here, you can reset to default by hitting menu/reset to default

Please keep in mind this is the Intial release and to be considered beta. In testing it seems fine but there could be bugs. Please let me know what is happening. I will use your data to decide to stay with NC2 or fall back to MLG for my Kit Kat based rom.

Rom slots are not supported by Hash, therefore not supported by me.
That being said, Wally3685 is telling me that Slots are working fine with 1500mb for system and data partitions, and 400 for cache.
In my personal testing it seemed to work however the rom would not reboot and had to hard reset everytime.
Try at your own risk, i will only support Stock slot ATM.

Ok. I think I have something good to offer up with a big thanks to @jrkruse.
Empty Galaxy is a debloated stock touchwiz rom based on NE5 4.4.2 and is for mdk bootloader. I don't know anything about ss. Heck maybe it does flash on ss but I don't think so, from what I can tell it starts with aroma and I'm too into not using aroma or much of what Samsung offers other than the great specs to look into it.
If you try I hope you find it as stable and snappy as I do
Also I am working on a themed version but that'll take some time.

Hmm... I might check this out. Been looking for a good and simple Kitkat rom to flash on my phone now. This rom might just do it for me. Especially since I'm able to change Samsung's emojis to Google's.

the themed version ended up a bust so I'll be uploading an unthemed version with the couple apps added in data/app.
I just read @andybones is working on coming back to the s4[emoji120] . Him getting the M8 was the main reason I put this rom together.
But in the meantime this has been a solid 4.4 tw experience for me.

Yeah, it would be amazing if he does come back into action with an Galaxy S4. I always end up restoring my nandroid backup of his ROM. The only reason I want Kitkat is so I can set my default messaging app as Hangouts and do not have to worry about duplicate notifications. Also, I do not want to deal with any other bloatware. I'll mess with this tomorrow night after work. Is the carrier logo still present?

Carrier is still present. Really the only changes from pure stock is the reboot menu, the missing apps, continuous rotation on launcher, and the app bg is a touch lighter and no gradient on aosp bg. I use xposed for most ui changes.
Hangouts instead of mms, I guess I got to get with the times.

Glad to see I'm not the only one using this. I added a v1915 themed with a few added apks in data so you can uninstall if you just want the theme. I was hoping I'd have a new theme but I really like the v1915 and I couldn't wait anymore for me to complete the other.

So I'm gonna try this out real soon just been working. but let me get this clear. You couldnt get other themes done for your ROM so you rushed the Dev who by chance is you to put your 1915 theme in your ROM? Sounds legit. Did you at least ask yourself for an ETA? lol only razzin you Reggie. this ROM though looks pretty sick honestly

I did find some 3rd party apps that say they fix this and I read it's a firmware issue?
Either way. I'm looking into it now and seeing if I can recreate the issue.

I tried maps and runkeeper. It keeps searching and never locks. Ive had it searching for about 10-15 minutes

In location settings, I've tried the options, high accuracy and gps only. Both options brought up location with minimal searching time. I've dirty and clean flashed so I can't tell you re-flashing the rom will help.
Any chance you did dirty this rom over another? If not, unless we see others with the gps issue, you may want to try one of the 3rd party apps, searching "gps fix" in play store

0.1 Hydronium.P601.2.10.07.14.zip or Hydronium.P600.2.10.07.14.zip
0.2 TWRPThemeDuesEX.zip, If you're intrested in DuesEX themed TWRP.

1.0 Make sure you are on Stock rom.
1.1 IF not, flash stock rom via Odin in download mode.

2.0 Custom Recovery - If Intrested in themed TWRP 2.6.3.3, follow below steps or skip to 3
2.1 Download recovery.tar.md5 and flash it via Odin in download mode.
2.2 Now Reboot to Recovery, Flash TWRPThemeDuesEX.zip file and reboot to recovery.

3.0 Now after you have your Custom Recovery Setup.
3.1 Wipe Data, Cache & Dalvik Cache. (Do Not Wipe data after flashing ROM)
3.2 Flash Hydronium.P601.2.10.07.14.zip or Hydronium.P600.2.10.07.14.zip

4.0 Reboot
4.1 First Boot Will Always be SLOW., DON'T PANIC - just let the system to set it self..
4.2 See the Samsung Welcome Screen .. ? You Have Flashed The ROM Succesfully...:good:

5.0 The Rom is now stable enough... Now Follow below steps to activate tweaks.
5.1 After Finishing Setup, Open MyFiles (Do NOT use X-Plore) and go to Device Storage(Internal SdCard) and open " HydroniumROM " Folder.
5.2 You will see these Five(5) Files

Tinted.Status.Bar.TiBkp
Wanam.Xposed.TiBkp
Xplore.TiBkp
Xposed.Installer.TiBkp
5.3 Tap on the first file, Grant SuperSu Root Permision when asked., and then Select " Data only ".
5.4 Do the above step when you tap on second file and so..on.
5.5 After restoring Data from all 5 files., Open Xposed Installer and
5.6 Tap " Framework "and Press " Install/update " Grant root permission press "OK"
5.7 Reboot Now..-- You Have now finshed installing this ROM..:good:

And a dummy question, if use custom ROM but made out of stock with some changes, is still considered to be stock? Or custom by all means?

All good but when I long press the accuweather wigdet to move it I got touchwiz gers the has stopped message then restarts

Its quite stable and no issues in past 3-4 hours ...

1. Did you do a Full Wipe of your DATA ?
2. Was Stock ROM Installed Before You Flashed my ROM
3. Errors on Not Working Phone -- Try flashing Modem.bin and cache.img
4. Accuweather Widget - Clear Data of TouchWiz Launcher...
can you Provide me logcat for these force closes.. ?
Edit - I Flashed the Rom and tested myself, I found NO issues on Phone or Accuweather..

No changes are made in notification panel.. it is as it is...
Well, It's based on a stock rom including all samsung's stuff - but modified and still contains the stock samsung stuff .. So could we call it a Custom-stock-ROM.
No, plans for Kernel for now..

For now, This Rom is Only for SM-P601.. I'm planning to add support for SM-P600 in future..
Although it works fine for the p600. Just have to disable the phone stuff

You can use your old phone & contacts app for time being..that came with stock P601..
And , a bug has been confirmed while trying to move the accuweather widget after adding it to homescreen..

Last night flashing i didn`t install stock rom prior to installing your rom & with data wipe still had the phone issue.
Today even with installing stock rom , issue still persists, only the revert zip file solved the issue.
Hope you can resolve this issue soon,
Love the look & feel of your rom ( especially the contacts & phone from Tab S ) that I am sure will be resolved soon.
The accuweather widget press bug still excists for the p600 version. Touchwiz also crashes when I press the downloaded apps button in the app drawer. Anybody else get this?
