I used flashtool to downgrade from 4.3 to 4.2.2 i have a c6866 but now i cant get my phone to work using mobile data as it says no service!!!
it says invalid sim even though its inserted correctly i flashed again with flashtool and i noticed i get this message

as you can see i see this as something to be worrying about

has flashtool lock my phone :S
also i attempted to update firmware and it fails to update every time
I think you have just lost your IMEI.
Once you root and go back up to .290 you'll have it back.
Ye I would say lost IMEI. Have a read through the guide in the general section for the fixes.
If you were just downgrading to root dont worry, carry on rooting/back up TA/ unlock etc then flash a full .290 (with full battery)

yeah just checked the imei is blank
can i now just flash a 4.3 firmware back and hopefully it will appear?

Hi everybody! , I just tried to update software to 4.1.B.0.431 and I do anything like this, but I didn't reboot soft or I hasn't rooted it (I hope to not be so important) and in flashtool working from 1% to 10% and there it go to sleep or idk (not crashing or anything , just looking like loading but not loading , i wait for 20 minutes and nothing happents).

if reflashing means to close flashtool and flash again , that's not works , everytime blocks at system.sin , I tried 4.0.2.A.0.62 and same ... but I forget to set Massive Storage , can be a BIG problem? or that's the much during reason?
Hey, I think I have a solution for your problem :
1-download the latest flashtool (9.10.1) from here http://androxyde.github.com/index.html?1354155165000
2-try flashing it again
3-if it still doesn't work then go to flashtool's installation directory for ex : (C:\Flashtool) and open Devices-->R800 and copy loader_unlocked.sin
to SK17 folder and there you go try flashing it again

Hi there, I bought another x10 and just need some help with my another Xperia x10i.
Basicly when i put it on charge i get a green led light for like 30 seconds and then the led goes off. I also sometimes when im turning the phone on get 3 red lights which blink, other times when i try to turn the phone on it just vibrates and a green light flashes for like a millisecond. I really don't know whats wrong with the phone and if it can be repaired. I have tried to update it using PC companion but it keeps coming up with an error half way through the update, i have also tried to update it using update service but just like PC companion when its installing the software it installs a bit then comes up saying it cant install the software on my phone. I have also tried to flash the phone using flash tool and using Sony Ericsson X10i_2.1.A.435_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897.ftf but it keeps saying error and that i need to turn on USB debugging which i cant do as the phone wont come on. Other times flash tool will just freeze when its installing system.sis. Please help me i really want to bring this phone back to life. Any help would be appreciated and if you need more info plz let me know.

Today I updated the XperiaP to JB then I root the XperiaP and install CWM. I really liked my previous systemUI and then I tried to install it.
But then it had sistemUI failure, so here, I'm going to format and restore the system with CWM but by an oversight, I format the system but I don´t restore it and I reboot the Xperia
Now, the mobile don´t boot and it is with the sony logo frizzed
I trying to reflash with several firmawares like: ICS firmware, JB 6.2.A.1.100 and JB 6.2.A.1.400 but always have the same problem the flastools abort the flashing, this is the log:

But anything works!!

Seems to me as if the Flash session does end (it says ending flash session, not aborting) but with the block verification error. Did you try letting it stay on Sony logo for about 20-30 mins to see if it continues to boot?
There might also be something wrong with the FTFs that you are trying to flash. Try matching their MD5 checksums to see if your package is intact and not corrupted.
Also, if you are able to somehow boot into recovery, you can still restore your backup and hopefully that'll solve the whole thing. Read through this to see if anything helps. It's on the Arc thread, but something might stick.

Now I tried to update de flastools to the latest version
I tried to restart some times the PC --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24284051
I tried this using the 7zipped--> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1621332
And I also tried to restore with de PC companion tools
But anything works!!

Broken system blocks.
If you unlocked try "fastboot erase system" and try again. If it still doesn't recover send it to repair.
If not unlocked ... Maybe no way except send it to repair.

Seems to me as if the Flash session does end (it says ending flash session, not aborting) but with the block verification error. Did you try letting it stay on Sony logo for about 20-30 mins to see if it continues to boot?
There might also be something wrong with the FTFs that you are trying to flash. Try matching their MD5 checksums to see if your package is intact and not corrupted.
Also, if you are able to somehow boot into recovery, you can still restore your backup and hopefully that'll solve the whole thing. Read through this to see if anything helps. It's on the Arc thread, but something might stick.

I install the Flashtools in a other computer and y I flash de ROM and it works!!

this kind of error can occur if the ftf file is corrupted, or the flashtool drivers are not installed properly.

Help me goto my user
So, I was given this phone from my dad cause he thought I might fix it..
I have this similar problems just as everyone in which the phone only vibrates once and flash a green led light, but not boot up.
Sooo I thought I could fix it by flashing the phone.. But I can't finish the flash because there is an error which says nothing..
