About these roms
For personal reasons and to learn, I started to compile from official sources my android roms for my Nexus 4. I continue now by compiling different roms for my Nexus 5.
I hardly change anything in the roms, I just compile standard roms with Sabermod toolchain gcc4.8 in its latest version and JustArchi's optimizations V3. I sometimes includes features for testing before they are made available by the official roms.
Instructions
If you are coming from stock 4.4 / another rom
Go to recovery (CWM or TWRP)
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Install ROM
Install Gapps
Install Super SU (Only for Omni)
Reboot and enjoy
If you are coming from a previous version of one of these roms (officials or these one), just flash the rom and wipe cache/dalvik.

Downloading your Omni version. Will be testing and comparing to other builds. Thanks.
First remark : No lockscreen notification. Really need it instead of Active Display.

Nice.

Is this noticeably faster?

It's not visible on a device like the N5 which is already very fast in stock ... but the optimizations are here.
Building now, new versions are on the way

Does this latest slimrom build contain the experimental kernel changes (they just released a new experimental build a few hours ago)?

I didn't see it on github (https://gerrit.slimroms.net/#/q/status:merged,n,z), so I think slimteam didn't merged the kernel modifications, so it's not in my build (compiled from official sources)

Noobie question:
if i flash this over standard omnirom. then flash omniKANG afterwards, do i retian the linaro compiled things or does it get overwritten?

So i tried the latest atm omni version + elementalx kernel.
It immediately showed the quicksetting tile text error, even after a few reboots.
Restored stock latest omnirom and so far the text bug hasnt appeared yet. Could you look into that.
Like to use this more as i lost 2k score in antutu with the same setup with stock omni.

Ok, I will take a lok at this, thank for the return
To wait for a fix, I have this bug sometimes, and to have text back, I just check / uncheck a quick settings parameter, and text is back

New versions are out !
Enjoy

Now I'm with AOKP 4.2.2 and it's perfect. Which is better in this ROM, and is it worth it to flash it.
Great, will flash this later.
@PolishVodka are you going to port PAC 4.3.1 also?
Its not problem, but i think we have some PAC 4.3 now (and i don't like this ROM)...
can you make aokp kitkat too ?
of course with full aokp feature and fully working
When AOKP Team do update (ROM Control) why not, at this moment is only AOSP ROM.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][4.4.4] BAKED ROM v1.0

BAKED ROM (Black Android Kang Everyone Desires) is a CM 11 based ROM that I compiled for my own use and occosionally the original developer will update the git source, but he never put the official ROM online as far as I can track.
I decided to share my ZIP files with you guys. I am currently using it for my own use.
Features:
Customizable status bar - date
Themer (standard CM)
Expanded Desktop
the rests are similar with what CM offers.
There will be no update, unless the original developer provides it.
This ROM is compiled with my own custom kernel instead of the official one (supports blueactive, elementalx governors, DT2W configurable using TricksterMod)

disable adaptive backlight
This is the smoothest rom I have ever had on my oneplus!
It also doesn't throttle wifi like the stock cm11s it seems.
Is there a way to turn off adaptive backlight and the capacitive buttons other than setting the actions to none?

Fixed, thank you
@Minux31 Thanks for the rom. Could let us know how different is it from the official one?
It's just standard Omni, just rom and kernel built with Uber Toolchain 4.9.4
Welcome back sir, happy to see you here again!
Will test soon and report back.
Should advise to use xposed and Gravitybox to help get more features...
So Apollo's inside, wich camera?
Thanks
To answer : yes, using Xposed + Gravity Box to get more features is hightly recommended, I'm using it without problem.
And yes, Apollo is inside last build (previous it was not), and Snapdragon Camera too !

Thanks for the build. Could u please add a switch for brightness icon?
Sorry, but I'm not a developper, just a rom builder, so I can't add this kind of thing, just if cherry-pick is available from other rom and easy to integrate to Omni.
If you look at Omni gerrit (https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/status:merged), you can see that Max Weninger added som new QS tiles, perhaps brightnees switch will soon appear ?
In any case, thank you for you're interest
