FAQs
Q1. Why don't you build newest version?
A1. I'll build them later. Please don't ask questions like build for new android versions.
Q2. How to boot to recovery?
A2. Keep pressing volume down when you see the FXP logo.
Q3. After first boot it keeps opening phone app or any thing that is on the left-bottom corner. I can't even reboot.
A3. Just press Vol Up.+Power button for 5 seconds, it'll reboot the phone and everything will work fine.
Q4. Why will I use this when there are other new version of android ROMs available for this device?
A4. Just 2 words, BUG FREE!! (Obviously except some very minor CM 10 bugs if any)
Thanks!

Cheers mate! Got my limit to "Thanks" button for today, hoping for more to come, by the way can you confirm that NFC is grayed out.

I've got to test this rom :3. All the roms you've ported so far were great, no doubt that this one is as well.
Appreciate your work!

I need testers for the new version- http://goo.im/devs/Abhinav1997/Slim-3.1.0/nypon/Slim-3.1.0-Nypon-20140121-1110-UNOFFICIAL.zip
Old users are preferred as they can compare the performance change since I built this using linaro.
Also test if video recording is working on this build. If possible, do check how tethering works
Cheers,
AJ

Dont use dorimanx or siyah.. com.android.phone force closes on both kernels.. did not grab a logcat since i switched back to mcm cm10.1 build.. probably the kernels need some patches to support this rom..
anyways the rom works great with stock kernel..
hi,
video camera doesn't work good . in the beginning the record button didn't responded, changed power shutter in the settings to on (what this option does btw?) and then it recorded , but when tried to watch the video the gallery fc'ed and the camera shows gray screen .
i flashed the rom with full wipe and format system and didn't changed the kernel

Thanks, exactly what happened, com.android.phone crashes, and as a 2nd note it did not work well when dual-booting with another ROM, it installed the SlimGapps over the 1st ROM too, and forced Kernel changing to CM10 one, I believe.

Any init.d script for gpu voltage?
Edit: surely the patched Siyah from MCM would work?
only thing I've noticed so far.
Screen goes off, press home button, screen comes back on and app closes.
We seem to be missing the lockscreem delay
Too bad, wanted to try out this rom next to my daily rom as dualboot. Waiting for next dorimanx

iv just installed the patched siyah v5 from mcm which looks to be working but init.d scripts not working.
edit: i may have fixed the init.d issue. a few lines were missing from the install script in the rom, i think?

Android 4.4+ KitKat ROM built from CyanogenMod v11.0 source with lots of custom additions
The credit for the idea behind this project goes to DerTeufel1980, with additions from ThdDude, ad Cl3kener compiled using the Linaro-4.8.2 Toolchain for a super optimized build. Lots of tweaks under the hood for snappy response, great battery life, and the ultimate in customability. Over the next few weeks the ROM will evolve and lots of additions will be made. First of all a big thanks to @Abhinav2 for bringing this rom to our devices.!
I loved the overall UI of the OS which is certainly better than the vanilla look.
The rom is fairly stable for an Alpha build and have almost all things working as are in CM 11 builds.
Hellkat is amazed me for the amount of customization it offers.
I was surprised to see customization regarding init.d and build.prop tweaks...!!:good:
Hoping for a continued support for this promising rom..!!!
Keep up the good work. :good:

Rom is working great. I'm a fan of blue so it's heartbreaking that this rom is all red.
But the features that this rom offers and the insane speed makes me stay with this rom, no doubt.

I do update all the ROMs as soon as the sources are updated. I can't finish a ROM and say its final until it's sources and our patches got updated. I didn't got you what do you mean by finish here? Kitkat is new so sources will be updated so I guess there's a long time before any of the 4.4.2 projects are entitled as "FINISHED". If you haven't checked, I am providing each and every possible updated. I messed up with my local hellkat sources so its updates are delayed but will soon be released. Also I can't entitle it as stable since there are bugs present and the bugs are in CM 11 so its hard for me to fix them. I am trying to give updates and stability to each and every ROM. Again, Please let me know what do you mean by FINISHED here
And this is for the guys like @Warhoax who wanted hellkat like ROM but in blue
Cheers,
AJ

aaah now i get your point about the BETA bro, so its ok i understand your way now, i just wonder you know and yes i agree with that KK 4.4.2 is new and we need indeed all the sources to make it fully work without bugs and i mean with FINISH that it is a final product instead of a BETA
I know you do very hard your best to make your roms awesome like i do
I have respect for you brother, i was just curious about that
Daymn. I need to get dualboot on my xperia P....
I loved the speed of the hellcat rom, but the theme made me change to Carbon rom.
Which I now really like as it's really fast, and has amazing features (like the notifications on lockscreen :3).
And now you have this rom...- I cannot choose >_<!
Thanks a lot though :3. Going to test this rom right now.
Another Great Rom from you. i checked the OP, but can't find WORKING and NON WORKING. once again thanks :good:
Really fast and smooth ROM. :good:
Great work!
But i couldn't boot it with the provided kernel (the boot.img inside the zip), i had to flash the CM11 kernel.

Could somebody please test bluetooth file sharing? Thanks
Abhinav bro you are totally on fire right now, flooding our device with awesomeness Downloading now will report my findings in a bit !
One question though, can I do a flash over CM11 or do I have to perform a clean install with wipes?
Evverything in the ROM was awesome experience... but the BACK BUTTON s a big prblem in this ROM... Almost all apps are not terminated by back button... Any solution please..
Okay, my report of this ROM.
I flashed this cleanly, after wiping data, cache , system and dalvik.
I can confirm OMX works fully now. I can also confirm 720p recording to be working now.
And as for Bluetooth, it initially FC's after pairing with a new device, but if I turn on Bluetooth again after that, I find that the paired device has been saved as paired and
FILE RECEIVING AND SHARING WORKS!!!
THANK TO ALL DEVELOPERS WHO WORKED SO HARD FOR THIS
Sent from my Xperia U using xda app-developers app
Halo was working really badly for me. it was very glitchy.

If you use or are interested in using Xposed Framework, then try the module "SwipeBack". It a great replacement to Back button.

I can see some congruence between the ram management and the functioning of the menu and back keys. Even in CM 10.2 whenever the keyboard disappeared due to the app restarting policy of the rom, the back and the menu key stopped functioning. But as soon as the keyboard reappeared, the back and the menu key started functioning again. I'm not sure. But its just an observation. Try gaining control of the minfree settings. by downloading memory manager and setting values to 6,8,16,20,22,24 respectively

Awesome will download once new build comes a out, Question do we really need to use flashtool. Or can't we just flash using recovery. And is it possible to bake recovery into rom or kernel.
