Sadly, these icons are not on the PlayStore yet, moreover non-flashable. I was wondering if you could help out to make an APK of the icon pack for some 3rd-party launcher like Nova/Apex/etc, so people won't have to edit the icons manually (cause it takes REALLY long to do it manually). Firstly let me make clear that I have taken inspiration from SimpText by UltraLinx. I loved the idea he had created, very simple and minimalistic, however on my Desire the icons were just too small to be useful for me. Very kindly, UltraLinx also provided the PSD file he based his icons on. From this I amended the colours, the font, the size, as well as some more font options.
The end result is as follows:

downloaded better cut, open home... dont like them and they didn't work so I uninstalled them.

Can you do "half-height" icons above the ones already there, in place of the colored rectangles, that would correspond to that apps swipe gesture action.
Maybe do one centered with the longer top section like the right facing, android in the middle, and
"Contacts", "Camera", (Android centered on top bar like centered dock), "Root Explorer", "Maps"

Hey everyone, kinda new here (although not so much to the world of smartphones and computers and all that jazz) and I'm looking for an app to provide a certain function.
I'll explain in words real quick what I'm looking for, and I posted some pics to make it easier.
I'd like an app that adds a softkey to the status bar, much like the home/back/menu buttons that I have in CM7 in the status bar (see img 1, and how it changes in img 2). I'd like to be able to click that soft button, and have a popup of some user-defined apps. I know that I can put icons on the home screen and just push the home button, but I really think this would be a cool app and would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of an app like it or could make one (I do some minor java programming on BlackBerry, but nothing this complex and with my baby and internship I don't have time to figure out how to make this).
I'd definitely be willing to pay for this, so if any devs read this I'm not just looking for a freebee. Althoug, of course, free is always nice
Either way, loving the XDA forums, and need to get my post count up there so I can post in the technical threads lol.

i dont think thats probable from what i know about the android os.
Smart bar allows you to set 'favorite apps'. Good luck!
PS On appbrain it says that the latest version does not work well on froyo; I don't know about gingerbread (I have not used smart bar for a long time).

Note: I was afraid this would happen. Argenta Clock might not work on some ROMs because it is based on the Sony Ericsson clock on the first pic and people did report that it doesn't work on some ROMs.
You can either:
Install the fix that is available in my Xperia Clock Collection thread (link in my signature)
Wait for me to fix it (I'll see what I can do, I'm still a n00b)

Probably yes but if you run the installation process, it will probably think it's an update. The only thing it will do is that it will change the images of the digits. If you want the old one back, AFAIK you can tap "uninstall updates" in the app managment of the same clock.

Ideos-like touch key icons theme (Ideos Accents White)
- Still visible with any type of BG.
- Works best at size 70 and a transparency value of around 40.
- Made by a novice designer(me).
- Quite Simple to make.

I made a simple theme by editing a few pictures i found online and making a few myself in ms paint. I used online-image-editor.com to add transparency too. I hope you guys like it. Actually I first made only a full white one but then as it would be invisible on a white background, i played around and made a few variations of the same thing. Use the one you like or make your own combos.
I've added a screenshot of the bordered white theme i'm using now with the size 27 and 3 pixel spacing.
I posted this in the original thread of the app. Please use the link to download them. I'm planning to use the same template and make one with black and white bands and leave all other insides and outsides transparent so that it will be even more minimalistic and still be usable in all backgrounds. I'll post that too when i do it.
I made the minimalistic one i told above about. This is the one i'll be using from now. Its more transparent, smaller filesize but still visible on all backgrounds. Feel free to mix-n-match to make your own theme.
