Hi,
I own a Samsung Game Pad (EI-GP20) and I'm wondering if I could get the Samsung Mobile Console app to work on a Nexus 4 or another device running android <4.2?
I wasn't able to give the apk file a try since I couldn't find it. It seems to be available only from Samsung App Store...
Anyone could help me getting the file? Maybe someone already tried something?
i would like that also! For my nexus 5!
I'm joining too... I like to use the .apk for my Nexus 7, Z compact, Moto X!
I would be so happy if someone extracts it... and hopefully it works!?

Hope something could work but seeing how difficult it is to use samsung apps apk, I'm not sure that the mobile console apk would work "out of the box"...

Runs great on both! Definitely easier to use on Nexus 7!

Uh are you sure you are talking about the same thing?

Care to share how you got it installed on non samsung device. I have this on my SGS3 but can't get it on my Nexus 7.
it seems it has the same functionality as webkey.
EDIT: in terms of control it is a bit better than webkey
I get "Sorry the firmware on this device is not compatible with TeamViewer QuickSupport. For more information please contact TeamViewer support" But I'm on a note running flappjaxx cm9 v0.6 rom

It has to be on a stock Samsung rom to work I think.
Too bad its not working on devices not running touchwiz. I love teamviwer therefore it would be fantastic if they can support all android devices.
P.S: Play store link has so many 1star reviews from those who are running custom ROMs, doesn’t anyone read app descriptions anymore ??

I also gave a 1* review. Running AOKP JB on my SGS2 and it's not ok it's nog working.

You do understand that is just plain stupid? This is like one starring all apps in the iOS app store.
I think it should be by-passable since Touchwiz doesn't really do super low layer stuff that influence other apps. I'd assume it checks for certain API calls to determine if it's really a Touchwiz device, because they also understand basically anyone can do a build.prop edit, although that might be worth a shot too.

Well that's just silly, if the app runs it should be able to work on any rom.
whenever I click on the client's url given it slaps me back with problem with server.

To me I see it working as a mirror. Similar to Splashtop or apps of the sort.

Sideload the app. I managed to get access by going through the Teamviewer site. Once I installed it on my phone (SGS3 TW tweaked rom, that if I used the link in op it wouldn't let me download it), I just sent it to my Nexus 7 (NOT a Samsung device running TW). Installed it and it works like a champ!

Nope but to me this app does both. I can mirror my pc on my Nexus and I can do phone/tablet stuff from my pc.
So no matter where I am, I am connected!

you can test it and tell results to nexus and in this way help him achieve something you want too
i search this for a while...and the only solid solution i found is by using otg..(which is in progress..) so as to connect usb to phone and then the mouse to usb bluetooth.. i hope you can understand what i mean... i ll send you pm if i found something easier

If you extracted from the rom and it can't install, try placing it inside /system/app/, set appropriate permission (same as the rest of the apps in that folder). Then restart the phone, it should work. If it doesn't then the phone can't recognise it so you'd have to wait for someone to do a proper port.

That's Sony Xperia Album app, OP is looking for Samsung S4 Story Album app, it's two different apps
I recommend the asusStory instead
but yes i tried to install with rootexplorer which is ok, but fc after i launch it

I was searching Story Album apk too to put in my KetansRom+note 3 Mod..
I have seen it in Note 3 and I really liked app. And really wish it to see upcoming NOTE 3 mod v4..
as far as i know it will be with camera from note iii. so wait for some time.

hi story album is now on playstore,its exactly similar to the one on note 3 with some additional features.you can import pics from facebbok and instagram,flickr apart from gallery.

If you are rooted, yu can use xposed module "Ok Google"..
From that u can use ok google feature fromall launchers...

you've completely miss understood me.
everyone already knows about the Google now launcher it's just an apk.
you miss understood what moto x style Google now is. which isn't going to happen for the moto e or moto g.

Shouldn't it be possible to replace the system camera app with the apk and files from the note 10 (with root)? On my old P10 it worked like this with the Mate 10 camera app.

What I did try is replacing the G9730 in the build.prop to N9750 but didn't work. It did however show apps in the Galaxy Store that work for the Note 10 when normally you wouldn't be able to see them with any other Galaxy.
Next firmware update will have it apparently
