My hcl u1 got stock at boot logo it just shows hcl me, after searching a lot i found out way to install stock rom but "how do i power it off" i want to go to recovery and i know that i need to press volume up+power key but it is stuck at boot logo nothing is happening even after press the power key or any other combination of key it is just stuck there i have downloaded the stock rom for it but cant install just because i cannot turn it off please help me....

what rom you flashed?
odin GB rom which ported from GS
will change your bootloader
try: volum-&power,volum+&power
i flashed a miui 4 rom but ithink the problem was that i had an old version of cwm-- yes i tried the buttons combo nothing happens

Use Odin to return it to stock 2.1 then use Quickfixlagfix.apk it only works on 2.1 and this will install CWM on your phone and from there the possibilities are endless,
and about the buttons not working try this:
open odin as adminstrator on your computer
hold the power button let it restart
let go of the power button, while holding the up/down volume key
as soon as it restarts insert the usb while holding the volume key

today i unlocked my atrix for the first time ,instaled a custom rom which did not work properly. i then tried to replace the rom with centrino gt ,it wouldnt go past the start screen so i removed the battery . i then held the on and vol down button scrolled to android recovery hit the on button and the screen just went blank --tried it several times same thing --can anyone help?

When you boot with the volume button and hit volume down to get to Android Recovery, you need to press *volume up* to select the option and boot into recovery, not power.

Sounds like you just need to use Odin to go back to stock... Unless I'm missing something. Just look in the thread for you phone for Odin instructions and files

Have you tried only pressing the power button? Stupid question, I know, but what you're doing is trying to boot the device using the bootloader and/or recovery button combos. It'll always go back to one of those two screens doing that.
stucks in recovery mode the power button and the volume- i did everything the link showed me but when i reboot into recovery mode if it is possible to put another OS like ice cream or sandwich but not jellybean : right now im using my phone in safe mode cant download anything just listening to music and browser .my facebook.etc plz help if it possible

My fully stock ascend xt has got stuck in a bootloop at the huewei logo screen when i try to power it on. I have tried several times but it wont go into recovery mode with the power button + volume up button. I can get into the fastboot&rescue mode screen by pressing the power button + volume down button , but then i just see a the android robot with " PHONE Locked FRP Lock" written below it. I cant do anything at all on this screen however. Does anyone have any advice on how i can get this problem repaired? this is my primary phone at the moment and this is very frustrating to say the least

Hey try this
Connect your phone to your pc, press vol down + power. As soon as the lights go off(don't wait for the vibration or anything else) press VOL UP +VOL DOWN. the phone will go to download mode. There you can flash stock rom.
And p.s download from samfw.com it has fast download speed,
And check for binaries first.
