Omate eezy gapps + root - Ornate TrueSmart

I made this tool to root and install gapps on the truesmart
and can someone please check if the superoneclick shell root works
here is the download
dropbox (dot) com/s/ebtqxzi4b0ttxyc/omate%20eezy%20gapps%20%2B%20root.zip
replace (dot) with period

This gives me syntax errors. I can install Root, but seems there's something wrong in your script for installing Gapps.

[A] Root update fix (for those with reboot issues when updating the su binary)

I know this isn't the correct forum to post in, but I don't have enough posts to put this in the developer section. If you'd like to move this, mods, please feel free.
This update .zip is for those who are having issues updating the su binary. Personally, every time I would try to update the binary my phone would reboot. This is for users who prefer Superuser over Super SU. The .zip file in the instructions contains the Superuser binary.
Requirements:
1) Unlocked bootloader (http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/11/24/exclusive-how-to-unlock-the-droid-dnas-bootloader/)
2) Some sort of recovery image; ClockworkMod or TWRP
To install a recovery follow the instructions outlined in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1996389 which is where I got the .zip file from -- I have only modified it to not install a su permission management app (I.E. Superuser/Super SU) and to make the su binary more update friendly
Instructions:
1) Download super.zip it's in the attachments or in my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/md84v0rgyd6ogvz/super.zip
2) Flash the .zip in your recovery (power down then boot up while holding the volume down key.)
3) Download Superuser from the Play Store.
4) Enjoy!

For those weary of downloading a file on dropbox from a user with one post...
Download directly from Superuser Dev site ~~> http://androidsu.com/superuser/
You want this one:
ARM devices (2.0 – 4.1)
3.1.3
md5: b3c89f46f014c9df7d23b94d37386b8a
Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
No offense Mazer
None taken, man. I'd be weary too. That's where I got the binary from -- the only problem is that that zip contains the superuser app in the /system/app folder which what is thought to be causing the update problems. If you don't want to use the .zip I provided here are the steps:
1) Download the superuser .zip androidsu.com/superuser/ (Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip) as disc0rdian suggested.
2) Open the .zip file.
3) Browse to the 'system' directory.
4) Delete the 'app' folder.
5) Flash as instructed in the OP.
6) Install superuser from the Play Store.
Tools needed (if you're running windows and don't have an archive program):
7zip -- 7-zip.org/download.html
Or
WinRAR -- win-rar.com/
Edit: Also, in the .zip that I have provided in the OP there is a script to completely remove all su binaries and applications before reinstalling to eliminate any source of problems. A person on the internet's word isn't worth much, but there's nothing harmful in that .zip. If anyone would like to verify that feel free.

root using cwm zip for unbranded tablet!

I have a lemon tab with ics 4.0.3 and 3.0.8 kernal...
I have tried all possible ways to root it... Right now the su is there as built in app. The terminal confirmed my tab as unrooted. But if i type system/xbin/su in the terminal, the terminal receive su permission. So i thought i am close to rooting it.
Pls help me to complete it fully. The su is 3.2 version. I used su uninstaller but of no use. Besides i have lost my ideal cwm 5.0.2. 4 zip file and its getting difficult finding a new one fitting my tab.
P.S i dont have a pc. I m using recovery reboot method.
when I download x-parts v7, it ask for su permission. when I select install, it cannot detect a suitable cwm. exynoabuse and farmaroot said "not exploitable". I am completely helpless.... plz help me.

D605 stock KitKat root

Since this information was buried in the other thread I am posting it here for visibility:
This will work only on CWM flashable zip stock (because you need CWM to flash the zip, obviously):
- Flash this first:
http://download.chainfire.eu/396/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.94.zip
- Then flash this:

Now, people are wondering if it's possible to root from OTA/kdz update (like we originally rooted stock JB). In theory it should be. Basically what I did with this root fix is I've added one line to one of init scripts (which all run with root permissions). This line is starting the install-recovery.sh script (which is provided with SuperSU zip package). With KK it's not enough to just drop su binary to /system/xbin - you also have to start daemon (as root). Whatever rooting method you are trying to use has to add a line to one of startup scripts which starts the SuperSU script. If one such method is found please post here, I will also update the OP.

1) Download and install TowelRoot.
2) Varcain's patch
Add string "/system/etc/install-recovery.sh &" to the end of /system/etc/init.engdo.post_boot.sh
or just simply replace it by Varcain edited version
this file.
It's neccessary to get root after each boot.
NOTE!!! YOU MUST SAVE ORIGINAL PERMISSIONS TO THAT FILE (rw-, r--, r--)
3) Delete last string "/system/etc/install-recovery-2.sh" from the /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
NOTE!!! YOU MUST SAVE ORIGINAL PERMISSIONS TO THAT FILE (rwx, r-x, r-x)
Congratulation! You get rooted phone
IMPORTANT NOTE:
When I did it the first time, I tried to install SuperSU 2.0 from the Market. He did not want to upgrade properly. Finally I got a soft-broken phone and repaired it by kdz firmware flasher. I'm not sure that the reason of soft-brick was SuperSU, but without it root works fine.
since I'm not a programmer, I would ask Varcain and opportunity that we end up CWM,
so that we enjoy the OTA UPDATE CM11, PA Rom 4.4.3 .......

Please could you update "varcain_rootfix.zip" for SuperSU v 2.01?
With the current "rootfix" does not work, and still wants to install SU binary.
Thanks for your work.

I have seen a way for cwm to kitkat in a polish forum.
Instructions:
You must have adb.
1 Extract the zip on PC
2 Connect your phone to a PC with USB debugging enabled
3 Open the folder and press "shift" and the right mouse button
4 Select "Open command window here"
Follow the commands now:1 adb push aboot.img / data / local / tmp
2 adb shell
3 su
4 dd if = / data / local / tmp / aboot.img of = / dev / block / platform / msm_sdcc.1 / by-name / aboot
5 exit
6 exit
7 adb push loki_flash / data / local / tmp
8 adb push recovery.img / data / local / tmp
9 adb shell
10 su
11 cd / data / local / tmp
12 chmod 777 loki_flash
13 ./loki_flash recovery recovery.img
14 reboot recovery
After your phone will reboot in cwm mode. When i did it rebooted automatically with an error:HW reset was detected.Dont worry just press the turn on button for 20 sec and the phone will reboot without giving that error again.
Big thanks to szymel00 a user of a polish android forum.
The link for the zip: (http://d-h.st/2kk)
Tested without any virus.
I didn't have to flash anything
I used the app KingRoot(not in appstore). It just rooted and it was just done. Later that day it rooted jelly bean version as well.
PS! You have to allow unknown sources when running apk-s from outside play store.

kitkat 4.4.2 root/busybox/lucky patcher/modded play store

Hi
I did manage to root my desire 610 device with android 4.4.2.
In apk busybox instaleer i see that my device is rooted
busybox location is /system/xbin
and it's version is v1.24
ROM version: KOT49H
i installed busybox on rails cuz i couldn't do it through busybox installer.
meanwhile i got downloaded superSU and lucky patcher.
Lucky patcher now doesn't message me "busybox couldn't find file"
but I wanted to install modded play store from lucky patcherwebsite.
The problem is that
1. Install latest Lucky Patcher.
2. Run Lucky Patcher > Menu > Select "Patch to Android".
3. Select "Signature Verify always True" and "Disable Zip Signature Verify" > Apply > Yes.
After this point my phone is rebooting and i can't get "patch applied" as a result.
I tried many times and still got this problem. :crying:
Do i need Xposed?
What can be wrong? how can I install it properly?
Please help me with it guys!
I've read almost all guides tutorials but i can't find any informations how to solve that problem.
Sounds like you still have the /system partition write protection enabled. Try installing the mod I posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-610/development/mod-wpmod-disable-write-protection-t3149168 first.

Hi mb.
I will try it in next few days.
probably that's why i couldn't write/install busybox at "/system/bin" even through adb.
To be sure that i have good twrp file can u post a thread or link here.
If u r not familiar with it i will try to search it agian.

I really appreciate your replay to my topic.
Here a link to latest twrp http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/246
I usually use the fastboot method to install but as long as you are rooted the app or dd thru terminal emulator methods should work fine.

I did it throught terminal emulator.
I did manage to save file to /system.
and now i stuck again.
I try to do it from there>akkihub modded google play store com.[ can't link while below 10 posts]
in manual installation i stuck at point
For Kitkat, copy/replace renamed apk to '/system/priv-app' folder
it says i can't do that.
I did copy/replace file to '/system/app/'
and tried to install it while google play store was shutted down in settings>aplications
still no luck
so i install xposed
and i can't install any app that needs to be paid.
do i need to add any fund firstly or it's just not working yet?
