Did you tweak your ROM in any way? I suggest you back up your data and settings using samsung PC suite (not cwm) and do a fresh install. use the official galaxy star rom and try to boot into recovery without using any other applications/tweaks. let's see if that works

So usb debugging is enabled. You can try flashing rom via odin though in extreme cases. but you will lose data.

WTH. Aroma is not a recovery, it is a filemanager "flashed" from and running within recovery. Absolutely no idea what are you talking about here. If you "flashed" Aroma, surely you have a working recovery, so flash a different recovery from your current one.

now i have latest cwm 5.0.2.7 but i think there is something seriously wrong.. when i boot into recovery, some weird things appear for 1-2 sec... moreover, while in recovery, my setting button became 'down' button, home button became 'up button' and search button became the 'ok' button...
i think something wrong is gonna happen with my optimus one.

so is the buttons problem for all of you in 5.0.2.7...?
I had these problems. And so did many others as reported on XDA

I really tried but I cant flash a ROM for my ACE "i"

Hello everbody,
I tried many times but it doesnt work!
Here's the steps Im doing:
- Flash my phone with ODIN, everything works.
- I check in the apps if Im superuser: i am
- I enter the recovery mode and enter the CWM
- I do all the wipe
- I install the rom from SD
- install successfull
-I push back and reboot the system
now the problem comes out.
The cell its like freezing on the "Samsung Galaxy Ace GT..." screen, I tried to wait up untill 1 hour, but nothing happen.
note: if I try to shut it down with the power button, it turns on again, but freezes everytime on the same screen
note2: if I try the button.combo to get in the Recovery mode, it doesnt function
What I do next?
I enter the "Download mode" and re-flash the phone with ODIN
Flash stock first. When wiping dont wipe system. Some roms dont like wiping system.

Try to change kernel. Use stock one in ace i sure and flash. If it doesnt work after flashing the rom you want, try rafaels or hell locks kernel.
Even than nothing works flash stock. Use iamareebjamals boot extractor script. Flash custom rom as usual. Use the extracted boot image to recover stock boot. And if this works root your phone. It shoul be ok than.
Good Luck...

if u want i can give u m1.tar too
but u shud use that one

when it reboots now u r on ur homescreen

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494471
check steps by steps
do slowly and be patience
1. First be sure USB Debugging is checked in ur device ( Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging )
2. Extract the Odin file from the zip.
3. Open Odin3 (Run As Administrator).
4. Put your device in download mode. To do so, press Volume Down And Home And Power Button all together and when it vibrates release
Power Button but keep pressing left ones. You should have a triangle with an android janitor while it's saying downloading ..
VOL UP TO CONTINUE...
5. Now connect USB to PC ,you should see a blue rectangle with COM:xx and saying Added. It means that your device is ready to be flashed!
6. Go into the PDA section and select your .tar file.(CWM Recovery)
7. Dont check any option (F.reset time and Auto reboot are checked by default) So just uncheck Auto Reboot.
8. Now click Start.
9. When it's finished, it should say that "Res OK" in Odin..
10. Now remove ur USB and remove ur battery and put it back and go to Recovery Mode (Volume UP And Home And Power Button all
together and when it vibrates release Power Button but keep pressing left ones).
GUESS WHAT :- U r in CWM Recovery

I left my phone by itself for a while. When i went to go picl it up it put it self in recovery mode and now it doesnt boot up, its gets stuck on the boot logo.
In download mode is the product name blank?
If it still says i9300 then reflash your rom and factory reset, with luck that will enable it to boot again.
