havent ran into brick yet but definitely an endless bootloop...flash this zip and it doesnt delete your xposed modules, just switched it off so you can boot

The Xposed installer creates that zip on install. So no need to share it. Isn't it device/rom specific too? (it flashes back some original files from before install)

Never realized that... Thnx

For anyone that thinks it can't brick your phone it can. I had a Note 4 t;mobile, had a custom recovery twrp 2.8.7, had a backup to. I somehow messed it up so bad I couldn't even get to recovery, Odin original rom, recovery, everything even tried baseband/bootloader. Flashed 4 different original roms, tried flashing philz recovery also. Even restored it via Kies3 said it completed but on boot my phone says recovery...booting and then shuts off. It was worth the risk imo.

Please help me ... After I flash the framework from xposed installer i had the problem of the system force stopping how can I fix it without losing my data

How can I flash the uninstaller , I tried by entering the recovery and apply update from my sd card but it does not work can you tell me if there is another way and thanks

Please help: Booting into cwm...

Ok, i really don't want to odin i want to see if i can fix this without having too.
I'm petty sure this started because i was deleting zips i didnt need such as old ROMS and what not, and i accidentally deleted update.zip which i figured wouldn't matter since i'm already rooted. Well i tried to boot into Clockwork to flash a new rom and it went to android recovery, no biggie, i hit reinstall packages like i always do and it gave me an error. Well i unrooted the phone, re downloaded the update.zip and re rooted it. Then i tried to get into clockwork again, through ROM manager and holding the power button and using that recovery option. As soon as it gets to android recovery it says.
E: can't open /cache/update.zip
(bad)
installation aborted
and this time if i hit reinstall packages it just reinstalls the update.zip over, everytime...I've flashed countless ROMS and all that for months now and i've never had this problem, yes it is clockwork is flashed in rom manager and all that, so i have no idea whats going on.
Please someone.

you deleted something important most likely.
did you install ROM MANAGER and click the first option "flash clockwork"?
if not, try that.
if yes, you MUST odin to get back your system files.
Odin is really easy if you know to use the right files, ive done it once and its been easy since then.
Yes clock work is flashed. I've used odin before also, but only on a bricked phone. Will I have to do this different?

shouldn't have to just grab a stock ROM and then install that, and BEFORE flashing your other custom ROM, just root and install rom manager, and install clock work.
you know, just in case that it still doesnt work you dont waste your time flashing a rom.
Tell me if it works or doesn't. never faced this problem before.

Flashed rom, phone broke

I tried to install this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033653) on my friends Optimus T and something went wrong. I followed the instructions to the letter and after the format of the /system i couldn't actually flash the ROM because everything got deleted so i tried to restore the NANDROID that i had made and i couldn't because there was nothing there and now it just hangs at the boot up screen! PLEASE help me get this fixed
Well... may seem a bit obvious have you tried flashing a different rom from recovery yet? If you get really desperate I can supply you with the kdz file for titanium optimus 509.
Or u cud start a fresh wipe your sd card and store on of your fav roms on it and then flash it with recovery..Start afresh..If u can boot into recovery then no worries

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946354 Try this rom. it installed just fine on my Optimus T titanium. I used clockwork recovery to do so. assuming you can get to recovery which from turned off hold volume down+home then power. If you can;t get to recovery you will probably have to use this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865479 however you would have to do it from emergency mode instead
Only two options:
1. If you can access the Recovery menu, then clear everything and flash a ROM again.
2. If you cannot, just flashed an official fimware back with kdz (use the links provided in the posts above). Then start all over again.
Simple

I think the issue your having is that adding the ext partion formats the sd card. Thus, the zip you are trying to flash is no longer there and you nandroid was deleted also. Boot back into recovery and select the usb mount option, transfer the zip you want to flash and then flash it. Simples
Ciaox simply missed the line out where is should say copy *************.zip to sd card before the bit about flashing it. I think this time following the instructions to closely caused this lol Man up
thanks mates, got it working with a a CM7 port (actually I had to go through 3 because two didn't have the Market for some reason

Glad you got this resolved. But for future ease of flashing download a flashable zip containing the market. such as the one listed in the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1072252

[Q] droid dna busybox zip?

Hi well this is my second DNA trying to root destroyed the first one lol... Well anyways the first one I downloaded supersu and busybox and figured out it didn't work and I ruined it now.... This is my second phone I have flashed the superuser and binaries. I am figuring out that I have root but its not working correctly.. mostly my changes that I need root for are not lasting through reboot I'm not losing root but I'm losing my changes as in when I delete amazon its gone but when I reboot its back. my only assumption is that its because busybox is missing can anyone confirm this and is there any possible way where I can just get the busybox zip... I have been on the busybox.net website and seen the downloads but I would like confirmation before u destroy this phone to which I hope don't not happen.
Unless you have s-off or have flashed a new kernel, the system partition is right protected, even when you think it isn't. I think that is what is causing your problem.
Why don't you flash a room that already had root/busybix installed?

When first unlocking and rooting my phone, I thought the same thing about busy box. But what you need to do is flash a new kernel first and foremost which will remove write protection.
I'm not really trying to flash a Rom yet personally I was waiting to see if liberty was coming but I guess it wont be coming I'm having a problem with pushing soffbin do I need do fastboot and soffbin in the same folder?

Flashing a Kernel is not flashing a rom. It just helps with battery, gives you sweep2wake, and allows you actual root access

No, again, you need to flash a kernel first so that you have write permissions

Reading your OP and the rest of your comments in this thread, you're all over the place. Things you are doing will not fix your original problem and trying to achieve s-off just because it looks popular and running into difficulties trying to achieve it only adds to problems and confusion. I suggest you step back, slow down and get familiar with terms before you break another phone. While a small portion of the info is EVO 4G specific, you should check these out for general knowledge:

Your root is probably sticking in between boots. As we don't have any ROMs that free up the wasted space in the system folder, it's pointless for you to try to delete apps that you don't want installed. You can simply go into Settings\Apps\All and force stop them and then disable. If that doesn't work, you can use Titanium Backup and hit the middle "Backup/Restore" tab. Click on the app you want and Freeze it (this will stop it from running.) If that doesn't float your boat, you can try to uninstall it.

Anything he does with will not stick through the boot because he doesn't really have root access. I had the exact same problem before flashing a writeable kernel. After I flashed DSB 2.5.4 [when I originally was going through the process] that corrected the whole busybox/binaries issue. Using Titanium Backup at this point is pointless as well because after he restarts his phone, they'll all be back.
Edit: Plus it will say you have root without a writeable kernel but you don't have write permissions to have things like uninstalling bloatware stick through a boot.

You're right. I had assumed he had unlocked and flashed an unsecure boot image before attempting to flash su and busybox. Perhaps I did assume too much. I'll refer him to here in that case.

The Viper Rom has Stock DSB Kernel boot.img zip'd with it. You can flash that rom and flash the Stock DSB modules with it and you'd be good to go

That's actually the opposite of what actually is the case. The modules are packaged with the rom and you have to flash the boot.img manually.

[Q] Boot loop: Process system isn't responding

Hello,
I didn't do the system update before rooting the device and perhaps I should have, with the epic, touch, and note2 it was a bad idea to do system updates so I just skipped it. I rooted the phone and flashed TWRP on it without issue using the tools from galaxynote3root.com's. I then made a backup of the rom using TWRP. I then went to flash Galaxy-S-fre3-MD4FirmwareModemAIO.zip through TWRP which I think is what killed it but i'm not 100% certain, I just know it errored out / wouldn't let me flash the zip. I tried restoring from the TWRP with the backup I made, no luck.
I'm now stuck unable to get anything to boot stable, it always shows "Process system isn't responding" and dies shortly thereafter. I can occasionally get to the point where it sees icons but usually it just reboots. I think I might have nuked the modem but I can't seem to find a radio/modem thread for the sprint model and I don't know if the modems from the GSM thread are safe for the Sprint.
I have tried flashing N900PVPUBMI3_N900PSPTBMI3_N900PVPUBMI3_HOME.tar.md5 on it through Odin with the auto reboot on and off without luck.
hmm

Ah forgot to mention that I tried that, no joy. It goes through the caching of apps, sits forever at 'finalizing boot' and then goes into the reboot cycle.
Restore doesn't work and once u do that it borks your file system. Your phone is bricked and using Odin to go back to stock will not work. You can try but u need to get ur phone replaced and hopefully sprint doesn't look at your knox counter if not u got ur self a $700 paperweight

[Q] Root Issue for Xolo q800
