Hi everybody,
Something that I've been noticing recently that I'm not getting certain messages with hangouts. Sometimes the messages are part of a group message and other times its direct. This occurs when both android phones and iPhones text me... Something I've also noticed is that instead of getting the message I'll get something about downloading a MMS message. It then won't let me download the message.

Just curious, as this has been found in other devices, as well as my Atrix.
Does anyone receive an error message when receiving an MMS from an iPhone user?
"your phone is not compatible with this message type or size. Portions of this message will not be displayed"
and does not show any of the media?

I've only encountered this when using Handcent SMS - if I load the stock test message app on the Atrix is seems to read the messages no problem...
In the sms app it doesn't show the time for every message but only for a group of messages.
Is it possible to show the time for every message?
It's annoying that people send me a message and I don't know when i received it.

DELETED, unauthorized....Has anyone been having issues with their text messaging app? Stock? I was texting and all of the sudden all my text message convos were deleted out of nowhere. Wondering why it did that.

Might be missing the obvious here but this is my first Sony Android device. Sometimes my Z2 might have trouble sending an SMS text message and I get the message "could not send" with a red emoticon. With my previous HTC devices, I was able to click on the message and select 're-send' however that option isn't available to me on the Z2. Right now, all I can do is re-type the same message but surly there is an alternative?

Turns out it was a fault with my phone. I returned the phone to EE and the new phone works fine. To anyone else experiencing this issue, you should have the option to re-send after long clicking on the message.
Would have really appreciated someone helping me out with that.
I had sent like 700 msgs in groups. Very few actually went out and now i have deleted all msgs but cannot get rid of the msgs failedpopping all over my screan.and i can't seem to delete them in any other way. How do i get rid of the not sent and why were they not being sent?

When receiving group messages there's 1 user who's messages I can't view for some reason.
I get the pop-up and can read part of the message in preview but when I open the group message it doesn't show the actual message.
As far as I can tell it's only from this one person. I used to receive messages from them previously without a problem.
Anyway, figured I'd see if anyone has some ideas on how to fix this.
I should add, other folks I know (iPhone users) are able to see his messages just fine. He's using either a Windows phone or an Android... not sure which, but def. not an iPhone.
Oh, and I'm using the stock messaging app too...
