Check out this battery life... - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

So I am running - [ROM] i545-VRUEMK2_Stock_Root_Deodex (12/22/13)
I ran a few other Roms prior and decided I wanted to be as stock as possible.
Now take a look at this

Is this normal?
Music via bluetooth headset during my morning commute, social media, some gaming... (clash of clans)
thats really it, barely on it for voicecalls, sometmies I listed to a work conference call
but I am getting sub 10 days
What should I be getting?

I'm running the same ROM. It maybe your battery. I have like 4 batteries and thus one gives me awesome life. Zerolemon 3,000mah I think. 8$ from eBay
Also I use greenify to hibernate apps like Facebook and freeze bloat with TB. This screen time looks awesome only because I did a lot of reading "lone survivor" on night mode which doesn't use hardly any battery.

I was getting close to 15-17 hours on the Eclipse rom =(

Got 14 and a half hours with 4 and a half hours on screen time with 45 minutes of gaming with the ZeroLemon 3,000 yesterday.

Why not go back? What are the benefits of being close to stock?

[Q] Android System Draining Battery? *Pics Inside*

Hi All,
Ive had my sgs2 for about a week or so now and have been trying diff. custom roms almost every other day. Last night, after flashing the new villainrom 2.3 and its recommended modem, i think ive been getting the best battery life ive had so far....
HOWEVER, i find that my battery is draining for no reason still. I'm a long time android user, but also have an iphone 4. I dont expect my battery to be as great as the iphone 4's, but unnecessary drain is a little annoying. When I check my battery usage, this is what shows (look below), is this normal?
ive only used the display for about 2.5 hrs in 12 hrs, and thats the drain im getting.
Oh, and juice defender was JUST installed like 5 mins ago, so disregard that.

Why dont you try installing 2.3.4 KG1? I have it on and it seemed to have increased the battery life. Did you check any processes that are not shutting down?
Vr2.3 is based on kg3.
That looks ok, use titanium backup to freeze anything you don't use.
The most useful part of the battery info is the zoomed in graph with awake time etc.

Villainrom still has all the samsung bloatware in it. I have cognition and man my battery lasts long. No weird apps running in the background. Just JD Ultimate taking care of even more powersaving.
With regular texting and app usage (of course differs to any type of person) I get 32-36 hours of usage.

I'm currently using Darkside 3.2.0, faux latest kernel...
10% over 7 hours, ~1.5% per hour, looks like good battery life to me?

Don't be concerned about wake locks if you get awesome battery life

are your radios updated ?

First of all thanks for the replies.
I know its not the worse possible battery drain, however data was off last night as I wanted to c if my phone actually goes to sleep.
my other android phone drained maybe 2% overnight with data off, so 10% seems a lot to me...
I have an international ATRIX and m using the latest radio (100.00 something like this) and no matter which rom I flash (aura cm7, and now darkside) the phone just stays awake.
With light use it lasts a day, but ideally 2 days is what im looking for!
Thanks for reading guys

Better battery than Stock, but not extended?

The 1620 battery is ok, its not the best but its not the worst. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with like, a slim fit extended like - http://www.mugenpowerpdabattery.com/zaspx/product_details.aspx?file=default&productno=1351 - or maybe a 3rd party battery that has a mAh above 1700.
Im sure the original extended is beast, I have one, but it makes the phone a damn brick and I dont feel like carrying around something thats an inch thick lol
I've only seen the mugen so far. Some people say its way better than stock and some people say it's worse. I would see what their refund policy is and then decide if you want to take the plunge
I use the Mugen 1900 and it does make a 2-3 hour difference in battery life for me. In my case, that's the difference between needing a charger before the end of the work day and making it all the way through.
I just received my battery yesterday. This is my first full charge. This screenshot the battery was at 17%.
Display: 2 hrs 1 min
Voice Calls: 25 min
Wifi was only on for 5 hours of this and there was a good amount of texts, about 30 minutes of Pandora, and a few YouTube videos. So far I am pleased with the results. Ill post back if I see anything else to pass on.

Not too long. I use it regularly texting mainly but maybe some music streaming but not gaming it video streaming

i mean, press the "screen" on that screenshot you have given us and tell me the screen-on time...
my guess is something isn't being reported on there...
I have been experiencing the same problem with this phone since I got it, no matter what rom I'm on. While its off, it is fine. It will last for several days with the screen turned off. Once the screen is on it eats up 2-3% per minute. With an extended battery it will show the screen as taking up 99% of the battery and screen on time will be around a half hour.
i dont know what you guys are doing. im running 3.14.605.5 and clean rom 1.4 dev edition and im getting 24 hours on battery life and 4-5hours screen on time. how long have you been running it, it seems to take about 3 days for me for the kernel to settle and the battery stats to compile.

T-mobile Battery Life

I hope I'm not the only one with this problem, the battery after the update is absolutely horrible. I have to charge it twice a day now. Even with the screen at around 50%...

It's not just you, but I have been able to last all day at 30% and turning everything off thats not needed.. and underclockin and also using juicer I think it's called

what the title " T-mobile Battery Life" ?
With all the bloatware disabled my phone still lasts from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. Thats including streaming spotify for 6-8 hrs at work thru bluetooth headphones. Not really noticing a huge change from 10G. Might also be worth including I keep my screen at 60% and almost never use wifi. Also I get 3-5 bars service almost everywhere I go on a normal day. I'm sure not everyone uses their phone under the same conditions so just thought I'd include that.
I suggest all of you to give this Artas's TWEAK a try for few days and check again. I got really noticeable change after this tweak this week.
I've had pretty good battery life, i'm rooted and updated to jellybean.
I calibrated the battery
put the phone in battery save mode or airplane mode when i sleep,
and keep the brightness at 50s.
my phone just died and it had around a 1 day and 15 hours on it (with mod-heavy use, pandora, web,)
