Windows 8.1 fastboot not working...?? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hi guys...I have tried fastboot mode in windows 8. It was working perfectly. But when I updated to 8.1 it is not working. I have tried so many ways. Can anyone give suggestions. Because of only this reason I had to install Windows 7 again.. Thanks in advance.

There's no solution for this. 8.1 breaks most of the xperia drivers

[XU] Flashtool issues.

Hey ya'll, sorry to create a new thread about this, but flashtool won't work with my Xperia U. I wanted to flash a ftf normally. After plugging in my phone to the pc, I grt errors to install drivers from the drivers folder. I went to that folder, opened the .exe and selected 3 options- flashtool, fastboot, xperia u(my phone). It would take a lot of time. It wouldn't end. I thought that I need Internet. But I didn't connect it. I didn't connect my phone to the pc.
PS: windows keeps on asking if i want to install because it cannot detect the provider or something...
I have Vista. Gingerbread 2.3.7 un rooted in my phone.

Draco.

In device manager on PC set Show disconnected (hidden) devices, next select semc devices, and manual driver install from list installed devices, and select SE android drivers!
Sorry for my english!: O

Any site on the net where i can download drivers?
Sent from my ST25i using Tapatalk 2
during installation of drivers
let it take time
it would ask u to install unsigned drivers or not
something like "install this driver anyway "
Flashtool drivers https://www.dropbox.com/s/9anz8x5xmvg6h1h/Flashtool-drivers.exe
I'm sorry but this exe is already present in tge drivers folder. Is this one different?? Btw if i install the 3 drivers it takes a lot of time so i cancel the process and windows would keep on asking if i want to install because it cannot detect the provider or something.... is this nornal??

You could try changing the /system/lib/libandroid_runtime.so, but I guess it won't change much. Maybe it's a kernel problem?
From which device are you trying to port? Same happened to me while I was porting lezo os from ace...

AJ

If by "blue" you mean USB 3 port, there is a thread in this forum with drivers that work on windows 8 for Intel boards, search.
I will just go to win 7 lol
