This zip works good. But if two sims used, it won't change the other sim signal Icon. Means one will be white as per the theme and other would be stock grey signal.
I would suggest better use any custom Rom system UI apk which you like the most and push into system/app folder and set rw-r-r permission :good: Works like a charm. :highfive:
If doing it gives you systemUI crash go to system/app folder and rename systemUI.odex to anything you want. eg:- systemUI1.odex
That's it.
I am in stock ANC1 Rom, rooted with systemUI of TranSwin v2 Rom. Check the snapshot for review....

You can change the blank picture to your with 106X100 pixel picture that you need to push and replace in systemUI apk in specific path.
I have done it.
Here it is how to do it. (Credits @renzorampas) :good:
1. Create your image file (.PNG) size 106x100 pixel.
2. Rename it with my_prof_normal.png.
3. Get your SystemUI.apk and put it to your pc.
4. Open it with 7zip
5. From 7zip, go to res/drawable-mdpi
6. Drag your image file "my_prof_normal.png" inside the 7zip window, overwrite it.
7. Close 7zip, push it to /system/app, set permission to rw-r--r--
8. Reboot your device.
9. Done.
Don't know if we can change roll over menu. I not want to change it as I don't actually use it. Ask the dev and He shall help you to do that. It may be possible but you need to give it a try and your time both.

Did the same thing, got the same results. Maybe we're supposed to change the permissions beforehand and overwrite the original file? I tried renaming the original which probably caused the bootloop.
I cant try this right now, need my phone and am not near a computer so if anything goes wrong,am screwed for a little while. Ill try it later and report back

Works on every rom
How to use:
Settings >> Display >> Battery Style >> Choose your style
Or click battery icon 3 times
How to add new style:
Give me icons
sooo I just copied/pasted the 2 files and overwrote them with the old ones, and when I'm trying to delete the .odex files the "Loading" pop up appears for 1 second and then the .odex file is still there..now that means that it stays there because the phone needs reboot so they can completely disappear (obviously) or (because you can never know) am I doing smth wrong so phone could be fked up after reboot? (I'm using asto file manager)
P.S Veeery nice work indeed, I much prefer it than flashing just 1 style or having to add .xml lines and stuff xD gratz mate.

After rebooting statusbar not shown... But you can open file manager and delete the odex files try that and reboot
If this not work replace SystemUI only then delete odex and reboot after rebooting replace SecSittings and delete odex file then reboot
Tomorrow I will try to upload update.zip to flash it using recovery
Re: [JB-LEAK-MB2][MOD] BatteryMod (with select style option)
Thing is.... I installed root browser lite and whenever I'm pasting the files on systam/app after a while it sais operation failed and only 5mb is copied instead of 8.32 that goes for both systemui and sec settings

Hello everyone,
For the ones who want a transparant status bar, here i'll provide my systemui.apk which ive edited myself and fully working..
its %75 transparant
How to;
Just download the apk file in attachment and place it on your phone's internal SD card..
after that first remove the "unsigned" so it should be look like this "SystemUI.apk"
-> edit permissions to rw-r-r
after that replace it with the one you have ,,,, move it here -> /system/app/
reboot.. and there you have it =))
ps: after you reboot when u just get a black statusbar in stead off transparant, dont panic just touch the status bar or drop it down and it will turn transparant.
dont forget to make a backup of your existing SystemUI.apk file in case u may need it

the mod is for the galaxy y so the update binary in a cwm zip will be different for your phone and so will the framework-res
this is how to do it
decompile framework-res.apk with apktool
goto res/drawable
replace the following files with the ones in the attachment
stat_sys_battery.xml
stat_sys_battery_charge.xml
now place all the png images that are refered to in them xml files in res/drawable-ldpi or mdpi/hdpi depending on phone
(you can take them from the mod in the op by unzipping the apk or any other battery icon pack)
recompile
put in a flashable zip and flash in cwm with system mounted
Can you please do it for me.... I'm Total NOOB

flash batterymod.zip I have done for you in cwm with system mounted
It may not flash as I mentioned before because you have a different phone and the update binary may not work
if this is the case just unzip the zip and goto framework folder
copy and past framework-res.apk onto your sd card
Then use a root brower to replace your current framework-res.apk with the one I modded in system/framework
set permissions to rw-r-r
as ever - make a nandroid backup first as I cannot guarantee this will work

Your battery % icon goes down in 1% increments instead of only going down in larger increments
You just need to replace some xml files (see my post a few posts up batteryfiles.zip) & put all the pngs of the battery pack you want

What I did was back up my systemui.apk to my external card. Need a root explorer to do that of course. If you don't like the mod, just replace the systemui.apk in apps with the original you backed up.
I have installed the mod but the wifi icon doesnt look good, its too fat and doesnt seem to fit.

Are you using GravityBox or something that is related to statusbar modifying because the wifi signal is much more like the Nexus icons
Yes i have gravity box, and i think that the wifi is fat because of this.
