Slimkat or omni? Development will start! - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hello guys,
Been quite a while, but now my Z1 needs a repair/replacement so I'm back to my old Neo and I wanna make a fast rom for it. I'll make 1 rom with a tweaked kernel
The question is, which rom do you guys prefer?
- Slimkat: well known rom, doesn't need any explanation I think
- Omni: same story
My preference goes to slimkat
Let me know!

Mainly browser lags ( Of course fix is available)
Cam quality is poor
Audio quality is poor
FM, HDMI do not work
WIFI, Bluetooth drops
Battery consumption is very high with wireless connectivity.
These are my main observations

Would go for CM10.
Only problem I have is the battery drain after turning on GPS (rom: CM10 FreeXperia). Have to reboot to solve it.
I love the style and the functions of CM10, but the current version of CM10 is only a nightly.
Did'nt found any bugs. :good:
I vote for CM10 to! :good:

There is not much difference as such but you should go with FXP CM10 as I found it more stable. But you can check both the ROMs and make a decision yourself And remember always go with the latest release whether FXP or nightly.
Press THANKS if I helped,
Best Regards,
AJ

I was waiting for the rom of this kind! Thanks a lot!
As for my experience with CMmod and stock based rom; for performance I prefer CM but it still has some bugs (only minor bugs). So I personally think your gaming rom should be based on latest cm9 release (fxp 213 I assume)!
And yea great job! Happy to see more developers for SXP/SXU/SXGo and Sola!

So,I am going to build TW5 ROM.I will try to make it fast, stable and smooth.I think I can give you lagfree HD gaming and good battery life.
PS.I will start building as soon as mike releases the new build for WT19i because this phone I'm using now.
PS2.There will be (maybe) AROMA installer so you can modify the ROM as you like.

So,
Unfortunately I don't have time to include AROMA but it will be included in future releases. My TW5 ROM is almost ready for upload but I have very bad internet speed now and its size is 270MB.It has fully working S-Voice and in the next release it will have S-Translator and many other "S" apps.As it's based on CM10.1 by mike for some reason works only one speaker. But I am sure that this great developer will fix it soon.As soon as this ROM uploaded I will try to port SlimBean ROM from Galaxy S because I have this phone running SlimBean and it's great. The only problem is that it isn't multilanguage, only English,German,Italian and other 2-3.

gettin bored with xperia ui, I think you just focus with AOSP. n don't forget to buil for lww, will be glad to test it
If You want to build Your rom smooth and superfast - don't add Xperia apps, just minimize this rom for best expierience of new beast

Currently having 60% aosp and 40% xperia ui looks nice i try full aosp now.
BTW: Batterydrain is 25% in 5 hours normal use( wifi turned on and mobile network) i think thats bad i will try some other things
Edit:
Using full AOSP now extremly smooth now:thumbup::thumbup:

yes, don't add much xperia apps it only slow down the system.I know what i speak, one time i have a rom with a lot of useless xperia stuff and the rom was lagging as hell.I think you better make AOSP.About the battery drain it is little big but not so bad.
Good news for You - now, I have faster 3g internet connection in my mobile, so I can download it directly from my device. If You do it and upload - just give me link on PM
Sent from my Xperia Mini Pro using xda app-developers app

Yup, AOSP - simply looks and great power!

Ok im finished with building im only trying some scripts at the moment i may upload today and send the links to the testers.
Edit:
Found the old patches for my GB rom trying to do the same with JB now maybe other MDPI will also be finished today
Edit:

Edit:
Uploading..........
Note:

Cyanogenmod made such a crappy work that they shouldn't have done anyway.
The result is a nightly that:
-White screen when offline charge
-No hotspot
-Unstable
-Graphical issues
-Random reboots
-Freezes when disabling auto rotation
-Laggy
-Horrible general graphics performance
Many other bugs,i don't remember.
Flash cyanoid/Optimus rom.
They're full of hotfixes/debugging and offer an acceptable level of performance.

Its obviuos:No good ICS rom,No 3.X kernel we can't flash CM9 and expect no lags.
The best rom 4.0 now is regits one,but it lags anyway.
Still you can get 4.0 experience with a mixed 2.3.6 rom that looks like ICS.
But it isn't
