Your phone must be rooted and have a working cwm
Now download these:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/iseparh0ztypsfi/Bootanimation4U.zip
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jk8fevim0ljcb8y/google.zip
Copy both the zip files to your sd card
Boot into recovery
Flash bootanimation4u.zip first
Then flash google.zip
Reboot
You will have the google boot animation

Androids have 2 bootanimations, first is before possibility to enter Recovery, second is after that and before unlocking. Which boot animation, first, kernel one, or the second, ROM one?

[UTILITY]Preview current boot animation without rebooting

Hi everyone!
Whenever we install a new boot animation we always reboot to see how is it?, is it working? Etc..
What if we can see exact same thing without rebooting!
Here is the way...
First install a boot animation
Just in case:
1. Rename it to bootanimation.zip
2. Put it in system/media &replace previous one
Click to collapse
Now preview:
open terminal emulator & type:
Code:
su
bootanimation
& you will see a full screen bootanimation:cyclops:
Press back button 2 times to exit preview
If you get stuck in the preview read 2nd post!!!!!
Destroy thanks button if it was useful for you
:flipoff2: DEVILS NEVER CRY:flipoff2:
STUCK on preview
for those who gets stuck on boot animation & can't come out
extract the attached file & place extracted file in system/bin(choose to overwrite)
i haven't tested it because it's not happening in my phone so nandroid backup is necessary!
please give feedback & tell if it worked or not!
We can use rom toolbox too.....it previews it without the need of terminal or back button

Rom toolbox can't gaurantee that it'll work...
Sometimes animation comes in toolbox but not on booting
it's 100% correct, & everyone @xda have terminal emulator unlike rom toolbox

Rom toolbox only previews the animation...if your screen is smaller than the animation resolution OR if the animation lags even a bit then android system will not run it

If pressing back button 2 times isn't working, you can also open adb terminal on your computer, write adb shell then su and bootanimation. Then just close adb window and bootanimation will close too.

Galaxy S4 CWMBoot custom Boot Animation

Had this custom boot animation for the Galaxy S4 made from JaeKar99 over at DroidRzr.com >> http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/user/35656-jaekar99/
This is all his work, I just asked for something and he made it. All credit goes to him.
Installation:
Must be rooted
Download the CWMBoot.zip attached
Unzip and extract files.
Using a root explorer, navigate to />system>media and rename bootsamsungloop.qmg and bootsamsung.qmg by placing .bak on the end.
Copy bootsamsungloop.qmg and bootsamsung.qmg that you previously extracted and place in />system>media
Reboot and enjoy your new animation.
An image of what the boot looks like is attached.
Love this!
Thanks!
Will it work on ANY ROM?

QMG is for stock. Your gonna have to go back to a stock ROM and kernel.

No; the CWM in the file name stands for clockworkmod recovery not cyanogenmod. If you ever used Clockworkmod recovery its the progress animation that is depicted in this boot animation.
