So far every method that has been tried has failed.
For a phone that hsn has been selling millions of, we can't seem to get it rooted.
We have tried

There are more we have tried, but all so far have failed.

can someone add notes to the first post of this thread on HOWTO install TWRP/SuperSU/Stock Firmware and LINKS to where these can be downloaded from for this model phone? I feel like the area labeled "Galaxy Light" is chaotic and very difficult to find useful information.

At the top of the note general section....you'll find the thread titled...."super note everything thread"....
Open it...and scroll half way down the first post........and read, read, read.........g

Just follow Max' video. Just pause it when u need to. Do exactly what he says in the video.

After u root it successfully, upgrade to twrp from cmwr. Install Jamie's JB ROM and you'll be good to go.

I am a noob first! I have been researching how to root my p5113 galaxy tab and I am more confused than when I started. I have rooted a galaxy s3 before but it's been awhile. If someone could get me started in the process and exactly what files I need to root it would be greatly appreciated. I see methods for CF auto root and Odin but just don't know what is the right way?
