I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Beanstalk Build 4.4.275 - 03/27014
*I swapped the nav menu button for the AOKP style
*I noticed the "Beanstalk options/Status Bar/Status Bar Color" option is new. Changes everything but the battery, that has to be changed manually.
*Help me keep an eye out for other features new to this build.
Beanstalk Build 4.4.249 - 02/19/2014

The changelog hasn't been updated in a while so I have nothing official.

Great work! Thanks a lot!:good:

Thanks guys, try it out and give me some feedback. Everything's working great on my v500, but if you guys can find a bug i'll try to see what I can do to fix it.
I've run Mahdi since I got my v500, which is a great rom, but I love Beanstalk on my N5 and I wanted to port it to this device. I also figured others might want another good option for a device that so far has pretty limited development.

Wow!
Its working great!
Very fast and stable, no problems so far.
I like the fact it comes with nova launcher , but it seems a little bit too bloated for me (trebuchet and holo launcher are there for no reason imo)
I am also getting issues with xposed after using titanium backup, also couldn't use my nova layout backup.
I would really enjoy a debloated version that comes with no additional apps, but other than that, it's perfect! You did a spectacular job!
Thank you very much!
Edit: a list of small bugs I find, constantly updated
Performance control makes settings crash
Notification transparency slider is very small
Boot animation is 16:9
ticking contextual notification panel header causes the time and date in Notification panel to be slightly swallowed in black from bottom to top every time you tick until disappearing completely (hard to explain!)
Screen recorder doesn't work

My pad is almost as smooth as my G2 now. None of the other roms I tried was anywhere near this smoothness. And I haven't found any real issue. Great work!

Awesome port. I love beanstalk. Ridiculous amounts of customization. Been running for a little while, but have a few small bugs to report. Let me know if you want logs.
-performance control in settings fc's when trying to open
-lock ring handle will not change to default standard, it stays beanstalk
-if menu nav key added, it double vibrates (if vibrate enabled) when tapping. This one bugs me, I don't know why!
That's it for now, nothing drastic, simply awesome
-

Here's a log of the performance control fc. (its close to the end)

I'm having the performance control fc too, but I had this on several other roms on different phones. And I have an app for that. There was one more fc, I think in the beanstalk options somewhe somewhe, I don't remember where exactly.

-Yes I see performance control's not working. I'm checking into it, it's got to do with the kernel. If I find a fix I'll update, but for now it remains a broken feature.
-Status bar too small- the dpi seems to default to 270 even though it says 320 in the build.prop. You can change the dpi using Rom toolbox. Forgot.. there's also a density setting in Beanstalk options/Misc. options. Set it to 320 there.
-The boot animation is 1920H x 1080W. I'm thinking about resizing it to 1200W.
-"ticking contextual notification panel header"- when you correct the dpi to 320, the height is fine, just the width is off. The ends are chopped off the image. I guess this is another 1080vs1200 incompatibility. I'll look into it.
Screen recorder- I don't use it and i really have no how to fix it. I don't even know how to turn it on. I'll keep an eye open for a fix though.

-Kernel issue with performance control like stated above.
-default lock ring handle is a BS bug, but I'll see if I can fix that. So is the double vibe on the menu key. I have both of those issues on my N5. Neither really bother me though.
Thanks for the feedback guys! I can tell you're both testing it thoroughly. Performance control seems to be the big issue that stands out (I don't oc anymore so I didn't notice initially), but everything else seems pretty minor. Although I'll continue to try to fix the little stuff too.
Keep in mind that I'm not an experienced developer, this is my first rom to compile and port so bear with me while we try to get the kinks ironed out. I welcome any help in trying to perfect this rom. Credit will be given in the OP!

Wow! Thanks for responding to all of us so fast!
Tell me if you want me to create the new boot animation for you so you have less work.
BTW, What about being a little too bloated? The only thing I really want is Xposed out of settings

Sure, go for the boot animation. I'm thinking about resizing the black one listed in under extras in the OP and using that one.
I'm trying to keep this rom as close to Scott's BS source as possible so I don't know about removing apps. You have the option of doing that yourself with Titanium Backup if you like.

I couldn't uninstall xposed...
I think you don't need to resize the black one because it has black borders, no? Only the white one

I was able to uninstall xposed. When clicking on Frameworks and Modules under Display and Animations it FC's settings now so its definitely gone. Why do you want to uninstall it? Why not just not use it lol.
The black animation looks kinda grainy like the white one so I was just gonna hop in photoshop and see what I can do to clean it up. You're welcome to pitch in on either one, by all means.

I think not, it's not the same aspect ration and it will look a bit squished. Do you want me to make a special black one, just for you?
BTW - the bootanimation I uploaded is NOT flashable, does anybody want me to upload a flashable one?

[x][THEME] deSensed ICS v1.1 ~ Source Files up for Download

THIS THEME IS NO LONGER IN DEVELOPMENT!
The aim of this project was to remove Sense and provide a clean UI until stable pure-Android ROMs were released. We have now reached that point and I find that it is no longer necessary to continue the development of a theme that only removes ugly from a bloated skin. I urge you to consider giving these ROMs a try and bid farewell to Sense (awesome hardware paired with awesome software is bliss).
However, I understand that some people will always prefer Sense, and that is okay. This is why I will provide the community with a zip of the raw files I was working on in case someone wants to take over the project. Please do NOT reply to this thread.

deSensed ICS
Last Updated: 9/25/2012
፨ INTRODUCTION ፨
I don't like Sense.
I used to. In Gingerbread it kind of did spice up the UI and even now some of its non visual features are still useful. But when ICS came out, I believe it rendered Sense UI moot. ICS, to me, is the most beautiful mobile UI design to date and while I like HTC hardware, I can't stand their software. Unfortunately, for now we can either flash a AOSP ROM with some things broken or are stuck with nasty gradient Sense. Well. That ends today.
This mod aims to replace as much of the Sense UI with stock ICS as possible. It will take some time to get it complete but I want to put up the progress as I do it here so everyone can benefit and have a little bit less Sense on their phones with every update. As a matter of fact, we might even have a full working ICS/JB stock build before I ever get this to the point I want to get it at.
The theme is not completed. Look at the changelog for more details.
፨ DISCLAIMER፨
Before we get into the screenshots and the download itself, please keep in mind the following:
As cliche as this is: Anything you do to your phone is your OWN responsibility. No one will be responsible for any damage you cause but yourself.
This is my first major modification, there will be bugs and errors. Please point them out if you see them and I will get them fixed
Some things (like the data icon (3G, 4G) won't look like they do in stock ICS because of the way Sense messes with those icons. But it's replacement will carry on the spirit of stock.
This theme is intended to be used with a third party ICS-like launcher (like Nova or Apex). I will not be theming Rosie (the default Sense launcher).
Hit thanks if you like it it's a small gesture that goes a long way for me!
፨ SCREENSHOTS፨
፨ DOWNLOAD ፨
*** UPDATE: I run CM10 as my daily driver and because of that I don't have a chance to test out every single update.
I release updates because I know that not everyone can live with non-Sense based ROMs and as a courtesy to the community.
Please proceed with caution. Report bugs and I'll do my best to fix them ***

፨ INSTRUCTIONS ፨
Make nandroid backup.
Place zip on SD card
Flash through recovery
When you boot, open up Personalize app and choose deSensed ICS under Skin.
Have less gradients
(optional) If you want to keep Sense lockscreen, download and flash this AFTER you install the theme.
፨ RECOMMENDED APPS ፨
These are AOSP applications that have been ported to work on our phones. I will not theme the Sense apps whose replacements below work perfectly.
Jellybean Calendar by Tim Hutt. -- Everything works.
Stock Settings by Art2Fly -- Everything works (as is in stock ICS, you will lose Profile/PRL manual updates. Keep Sprint Zone and update through there).
፨ FAQ ፨
Q: I flashed this and the HTC lockscreen is gone! Can I get it back?
A: Yes. All my mod did is rename the HTC lockscreen file. Go to /system/app/ and rename HtcLockScreen.apk.bak to HtcLockScreen.apk reboot and you'll have Sense's lockscreen back. Or download and flash this.
Q: Can you do X, Y or Z?
A: At the moment, I won't do any "special" request. I want to get the entire stock ICS theme in and THEN I'll do extra stuff (like battery % and such). That being said, if you have any part of stock ICS that you want "prioritized" just post and I'll see what I can do
Q: The ROM I use is not supported, what gives?
A: Due to the fact that we have such awesome devs and so many ROMs, it is impossible for me to support them all. Download the generic file that will work with any ROM or if you don't mind losing some tweaks done by your dev, flash another ROMs zip file. I wish I could go back to supporting all ROMs through the villaintheme system but it currently has an issue with the framework-res file. If you know how to fix it, please drop a PM.
Q: I'm running Viper4G but my notification bar isn't transparent and my clock text color is white, why?
A: Viper4G uses its own tweaks to accomplish this. Just launch Venom Tweaks > Status and you can chage the pulldown background transparency and clock color. The hex value I used for the previous releases is #33B5E5 (default ICS color).
፨ BUGS ፨
The quick selection bar (when you select text and cut, copy and paste come up) currently has a background. Can't fix this until we can edit m10 images. Here's a picture of how it is vs how it should be:

፨ CHANGELOG ፨
v 1.1 ~ 9/1/2012
-Critical update for 1.0 users of MeanROM 3.5 & Stock w Goodies 2.0.
~Dialer FC fixed.
~Fixed app icons and notification icons not being themed.
~Made the notification area semi-transparent again.
~Fixed Sense icons appearing in dropdown notification area.
-Made all dividers transparent in Sense apps.
-Dropped VillainThemeSystem in favor of full APKs. Downloads will be larger in size.
v 1.0 ~ 8/30/2012
-Fixed the missing highlight pressed elements (derp).
-Stock messaging app incoming background adjusted to a more ICS like color.
-Changed default emoticons for stock messaging app.
-Clock tumblers changed to a more AOSP look.
-New recommended apps section. AOSP style apps ported over by others.
-Themed the dialer (Phone.apk coming later) and changed the font colors & sizes.
-Incoming, outgoing and missed call icons changed.
-Changed default 'unknown' picture on a call to default ICS.
-Minor color, size and positioning adjustments throughout the theme.
v 0.8 ~ 8/14/2012
-Fixed list press highlight color to actual ICS color and removed the edge lines.
-Quick contact badges changed from green to blue (noticable on AOSP Messaging apk).
-Changed default no-contact picture.
-Changed these legacy UI elements:
~Checkboxes and checkbox-less checkmarks
~Close boxes
~Large/Small buttons
~Dropdown
~+/- buttons
~Media buttons
~Radio buttons
~Rating stars
~Textbox background highlight
~Text boxes
~Square/rectangle highlights
~Touch highlights
~Number picker buttons
~Seeker bars
~Pop-up box
!These are not the best looking things and Google needs a lesson alongside HTC but they are from ICS stock. It is what pure ICS looks like!
-Changed the default app icons from HTC icons to stock Jellybean for Browser, People, Phone, Mail, Messaging, Settings, Calendar, Clock, Calculator, Gallery and Camera.
v 0.7 ~ 8/6/2012
-Made all notification icons the default ICS transparency (54.999996%).
!The above increases file size because VillainThemeSystem cannot change the contents of resources.arsc so the entire SystemUI.apk is now included!
-Gave notifications in the pull down menu an ICS colored background.
-Tweaked notification dividers to black (ICS style).
-Hightlight for AOSP Recent Apps (Viper4G option) is now ICS default.
-Made Quick Settings Text more steamlined with dropdown box.
-Changed picture, 'more', GPS (not just lock on), speakerphone, wi-fi near, chat, error alert, USB, call and call mute notification icons.
-Made the GPS locked on icon more accurate.
-Fixed headset icon with the one found in stock ICS, also modeled the headphone icon after it.
-Removed vertical separators between clear and settings button on notification dropdown.
-Subnavigator background and highlight changed to look more like ICS.
-Fixed transparent area on Viper4G between the notification box and the notif/quick settings tabs when background is set to transparent.
-Power menu images replaced with ICS ones.
-Volume pop-up icons changed.
-Quick Setting icons hand tweaked (I'm not a good artist!) and changed.
-Most volume/progress bars changed to Holo style.
-Popup boxes changed to ICS default (try volumes or brightness in settings).
v 0.6 ~ 7/26/2012
-Added support for MeanROM and FreshROM.
-Fixed background on certain textfields.
-Added 4G icons (I think? Need confirmation.)
-Changed the global bottom-option bar to black.
-Sense checkboxes themed to Holo light (sense doesn't offer dark option)
!THE ABOVE DOES NOT INCLUDE SENSE-APPS! THIS IS FOR THIRD PARTY APPS THAT CALL FOR A CHECKBOX FROM THE SYSTEM AND DOESN'T SPECIFY HOLO UI!
-Sens-ified Holo checkboxes rescued back to Holo style.
v 0.5 ~ 7/17/2012
-Started tweaking framework-res, VillainThemeSys causes a bootloop so for now it will replace your stock framework-res file, most mods are in SystemUI anyway.
-Changed the following elements from green to ICS blue when an app calls for Holo UI elements (see screenshots for examples):
~Textfields
~On/Off Switches
~Dropdown boxes
~Scrubbers
~Rating Stars
~Progress Bars
~Picture Borders
~Touch Select Background
~Fast scrollbar
~Dialog Boxes
~Other misc. items from Holo UI
!Some pop up dialogs will still call for Sense elements!
-Black background on some system apps (the rest will come in a future update, along with the above Holo UI elements on Sense apps).
-Text highlight color should now match stock ICS.
-Replaced quickselection pop up to a more ICS like one (HTC stop using these!).
-Adjusted fastscroll on Sense to ICS blue.
v 0.4 ~ 7/11/2012
-Enabled AOSP lockscreen. Script renamed HtcLockScreen.apk to HtcLockScreen.apk.bak, so just remove .bak if you want it *puts on glasses* back.
-Housekeeping, deleted unnecessary files.
-Updated some low quality pictures.
v 0.3 ~ 7/11/2012
-Renamed Matte to the default skin you now have to select, if you don't you wont see the new changes (Settings> Personalization> Skin> deSensed ICS)
-ICS color download bar, sound bar, stars, checkboxes, radio buttons and switches (still Sense-like (for now), but at least blue)
-Text select handles are now from stock AOSP.
-Global ICS titlebar
-Changed text input fields
-Added default ICS wallpaper
v 0.2 ~ 7/9/2012
-Converted .zip to VillainTheme System. It will now work on any ROM without overwriting files.
-Added Sync, airplane mode, bluetooth, alarm, gps, roaming signal bars, 1x, vibrate and silent icons.
-Added headphones icon, stock ICS doesn't have it so I just re-colored Sense's.
-Added a 'null signal' icon for when there is no connection to any tower.
-Changed the small sound bar to Holo style.
-Statusbar clock is now ICS color (#33B5E5).
-Made some icons align better with each other.
v 0.1 ~ 7/8/2012
-Initial release.
-Added WiFi, 3G (edited), signal bars icons.
-Replaced notification screen close & settings icons.
-Changed notification background and bottom bar.
Sounds awesome! I'm looking forward to this!

It will work but Charmeleom mod is one of the ROMs that most heavily modifies system files. You can do a nandroid and flash it that way you can just restore if you prefer Charmeleon's tweaks better.
Once this is in a more completed stage I might make it available universally.

Just installed it on flexs stock with goodies and the top bar looks amazing! Thanks, I love the stock look...keep in mind I'm running 1.52 so the quick settings from this mod are an older version

Yeah I pulled mine from ViperROM that was updated a while back. If you or anyone else wants to pull the newer quick settings I'll cook them into the theme so we can all have the latest one
Also, I should finish all the status icons by tonight (have alarm, airplane mode, gps and a few others already done). I have to decide what to do about the heaphones icon and do a few more and it'll be done, I work first though :\
Love this Thank you so much sir! One request if you can Make a flashable ics battery with percent on it, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for this. I know its the initial release but just a heads up. The Sync icon still white and the roaming signal icons.

Fantastic on this!!! Thank you! I share your sentiments in the OP EXACTLY. EXACTLY. And this looks great. Unfortunately, I'm using a ROM with tweaks, so it would break stuff. But will definitely be using this sometime soon.:beer:
Edit: excellent job on notification dropdown, and +1 on batt %

Awesome job regardless by the way. This is so sick. I was tired of the non ICS icons. The transparent notification pull down is awesome too. Thanks again.

I will eventually add things like battery percentage but I want to get everything themed first. Feel free to edit the apk and my icons around to accommodate that if you don't want to wait though

I heard of a way to possibly make the theme universal without it overwriting anything if I can accomplish it tonight everyone will be able to enjoy it without worry.

not just handing it over, but making me learn in the process. *salute*
Ben and Sparky - my international Note2 contemporaries....it's been fun working with you guys, bouncing ideas

:::ICTURES OF SAMPLES PER APP SETTINGS FOR FLOATING WINDOWS::::
::::XPOSED APP SETTINGS GLOSSARY::::
Screen density
The quantity of pixels within a physical area of the screen; usually referred to as DPI (dots per inch). For example, a "LOW" density screen has fewer pixels within a given physical area, compared to a "NORMAL" or "HIGH" density screen.
Font Scale
The size of the font in the amount of pre-allocated space; measured by percentage.
Resolution
The total number of physical pixels on a screen; usually known as Screen (dp).
Xlarge Resolution
extra large resolution
Locale
This allows you to change the language of any app individually; without changing your whole system to a different language.
Fullscreen
Force the app into fullscreen mode while hiding the status bar that is easily accessible by pulling down on the top of the screen.
Prevent the app from going into fullscreen mode. Keeps status bar on screen while the app is open.
No Title
Removes title bar from app. Every app I chose this for force closes so don't mark my words.
Keep Screen on
This will NOT let your screen turn off while the app is on the screen unless you hit the physical power button.
Show when phone locked
Leaves app open in the foreground of the lock screen while app is open and on the screen
Orientation
The ability to change whether an app opens (portrait or landscape). The dropdown consists of
(default app rotation). Uses whatever the default orientation that is already written into the app
Normal rotation = Will rotate screen normally
Always portrait = The ability to FORCE the app into portrait mode ONLY
Always landscape = The ability to FORCE the app into landscape mode ONLY
Force auto-rotation = The ability to FORCE the app to auto-rotate (will edit after tested).
Resident
Keeps any app in memory (running in background).
Insistent Notifications
Insistent notifications repeat their audio, vibration, and light settings continuously until canceled. These Notifications are typically used for events that require immediate and timely attention; such as an incoming call or the ringing of an alarm clock.
No BIG Notifications
Makes the app notification in the notification dropdown smaller, like a small preview instead of the normal show everything notification.
Permissions
Allows you to revoke permissions from any app of your choice.

Title says VRAMC3, which would make it a Verizon base.
VV will probably not work. I'm assuming everyone is on the latest baseband (VRAMC3). If you're not it will be L4 OR VRALB. either way always flash the VZW patch so you don't run into any issues.

The Alliance Team is proud to present AllianceROM for the AT&T Note 3. This is the most customizeable ROM available for ANY device. Millions of different on the fly theming options, more so than any AOSP based ROM. If you are tired of having to choose an xposed module and reboot only to see the effect isn't quite what you like, then I challenge you to try this.

I do this because I love doing this, not because I am trying to make money. I have a career in the petroleum industry, this is just a hobby. There has been many countless hours put into this project by more people than just me. This being said, I will NEVER ask for a donation, but they are always appreciated. If you like this project and would like to contribute in a different way, I always need testers. Also, clicking the thanks button works just as well :good:
New install instructions:
1) Download ROM zip and verify MD5 sum, place on your internal or external SDCard, it doesn't matter which.
2) Make any backups you need with Titanium Backup or whatever you use while this is downloading
3) Also make sure that you are on latest JB SafeStrap (version 3.71)
4) Boot into Safestrap Recovery via app or hard reboot
5) While in Safestrap first choose "Boot Options" And Then Select "Stock ROM". Activate it. If you are already on the Stock ROM Slot and it is activated AND YOU HAVE A BACKUP, or if you ALREADY have a stock backup move on to Step 7.
6) Click the back button on the bottom right to get back to the main screen, and then choose "Backup". You will want to make sure all 3 partitions are selected to backup. You can choose internal or external sdcards (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE EXTERNAL) by clicking Where it says "Storage: xxx SDCard (xxxx MB)" towards the middle of the screen. Choose where you want to create the nandroid (backup) and select "OK." Now just swipe to make the backup. Once the nandroid is done continue on to step 7.
7) Back out to the main screen using the back button in the lower right corner of the screen. The letters at the top should be in red and say "ROM Slot: stock"
8) Now choose "Wipe" and it should pop up the wipe screen. It should say "Factory Reset" and on the next line "Wipes Data, Cache, and Dalvik (not including internal storage). If it doesn't, hit the back button, if it takes you back to the main screen, go back to "Wipe" until you see this message. Now just swipe to Factory Reset.
9) Now you should have a clean stock partition that is ready to have your ROM flashed. Hit the back button until you are back at the main screen, and now you will choose "Install."
10) Now find the ROM zip, you placed on your phone, either on internal or external SDCard and install the ROM. Once the ROM is flashed, you should reboot the device.
***Note***
Now that you have made a backup, if for whatever reason you want to go back to that ROM on the stock slot, you can boot back into recovery, and choose the "Restore" button and restore the backup to the Stock slot.

You can make this feel however you want! There is even an option to have the ROM choose a random color everyday when you wake up. The ammount of customization is incredible, and I am sure you wont be disappointed.
There will be future themes that will be available in the ROM Customizer, but since I am so new to Alliance, I dont have anything there
DevHost is being weird right now, I tried uploading it and it stopped at 98%, so I am now uploading to my AFH account, bout 10 minutes
Dude!!! Awesome. No hurry/worries. I've mentioned it somewhere here in the note 3 threads. Alliance project has always been my favorite ROM ever since I've known android and rooting. Take your time on the customizations. I'm sure you'll kick it in the butt soon. Thank you so much for bringing it to our note 3. Waiting patiently for the link.
BTW, I will be first to download

EDIT: No matter what I download the Rom on or to, it is corrupted. Also doesn't matter what browser I use.

[MOD][Xposed][4.4+] Tinted Translucent StatusBar (Beta 3.3)

Requires Xposed Framework by rovo89. Special thanks to him!
Tinting Status Bar and Navigation Bar on KitKat and Lollipop with “Translucent Mode”
This module offers the option to make the status bar and navigation bar “translucent” with a color behind, like the Material Apps in Lollipop or the HTC Sense Apps in Sense 6 and 7.
For every Activity, in every app you want.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Isn't that nice, huh?
The app just uses the Translucent API to draw the status bar and navigation bar, so - it won't enable Translucent Mode on devices that don't support it.
Otherwise, it will e.g. give you the full Sense 6 feeling even in non-Sense-apps on an HTC Sense 6 device.
For developers, take a look at https://github.com/jgilfelt/SystemBarTint, if you want your app to look like this even without this module.
I use code of this in my module, special thanks to Jeff Gilfelt for giving this template to do something like that!
Download the app from Xposed Repo:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.woalk.apps.xposed.ttsb
To Download the module in Xposed Installer, you have to allow BETA downloads, as the module is currently in Beta state (user interface isn't as bug-free as it should, but I wanted to share my work as soon as I could).
Just activate the module and reboot, as Xposed suggests. A soft reboot should be enough.
After that, you don't need to reboot to apply settings.
There's a thing called TTSB Community. There you can create an account (you don't have to) and download settings other users published there, or (with an account) publish your own if they aren't there.
Maybe in some time you'll find many settings over there!
If you want to create an account, please see the Terms of use. Thank you.
For using this module bypassing the not-very-well-working UI, maybe a look on my Wiki article about manually setting TTSB Settings Codes should help:
https://github.com/woalk/TintedTranslucentStatusbar/wiki/TTSB-codes
If it does not work, check:
Do you get translucent StatusBar in other apps, without the module (there are test apps for this purpose in Play Store)?
If not: Are you on CyanogenMod? There's an option in “Performance” settings menu to enable or disable things like the gradient.
Has your problem something to do with an already known bug (look at the end of this post, there are they listed)?
Is your problem just for one special app? Please include a Play Store link, XDA thread link, source code link, or anything like this, of that app, or even a description of how it works, like “apps with text field aligned to the bottom of the screen don't move it with IME anymore, which is making it to disappear behind the keyboard”. Also please post your TTSB settings code for that Activity, if you're able to (if the bug is not with the apps UI).
Is your problem device/ROM related? I can't test every ROM because I can't buy every device, but check the first and third point of this list first. My module is using system code of android that should be in every ROM's code, I can't imagine any ROM working without onCreate() method of an Activity.
Maybe it has something to do with security features of a ROM, because my module is using world-readable SharedPreferences to have access to them from every app's onCreate() methods. If you know a better way, please, tell me, I'm relatively new to Xposed.
But have fun with testing this module!
I was inspired by Tinted Status Bar by MohammadAG, a more complicated module that tints the full status bar, so that module works even on older versions of android (between 4.0 and 4.4+).
But I did not like touching the status bar itself, as it creates some problems with some functions and apps, and it never gave me the mentioned "Sense 6 feeling" I wanted.
So I started to create my own module.
But, thanks to MohammadAG, TSB is also a great alternative if you don't want the Translucent overlay in the status bar.
This module was tested in an emulator and on an HTC One M7 running ARHD 71.1 first, at the moment CyanogenMod 11 M10.
This module works perfectly fine with my other module, Translucent Style, which changes the style of the translucency (gradient, Sense 6/Android “L” style, Sense 5 style, ...), this is very good to make TTSB's result way more unique!
Please note that Translucent Style only works on KitKat by now, not on Lollipop (TTSB does well though).
The source code can be found on GitHub under GNU GPL V2:
https://github.com/woalk/TintedTranslucentStatusbar

I know, it isn't user friendly atm.
Keep waiting until next weekend or so, I'll work on a way better user experience.
This is just the first preview of what this module will be in its Stable state.

Have you seen this module where it has a color picker that you can overlay on all screens and it can autodetect color, has a slider to adjust it, and a reset to default color option..
This looks awesome btw

Yes, I've seen, and I like it. I'll look in a similar direction when programming the color picker, but I can't promise anything for now, I'm not that experienced as some others.

TSB is far superior in everything except the gradient, if they implement it this will need a lot of work to get at TSB's level :fingers-crossed:

+1 this is better than tsb module atm.
This also colors the clock and battery on some ROMs that tsb doesn't.
But it's not open source, so I think the dev won't do it

OP
can you do for navigation bar too?
mannn it definitely will be damn owesome

TSB is great but I prefer this module because I believe it uses the translucent api to apply the gradient instead of coloring the whole status bar. This seems to be faster and the transitions are so smooth.

Yes, that's the next small step.

TSB is far superior in everything except the gradient, if they implement it this will need a lot of work to get at TSB's level :fingers-crossed:

I'll take a look at TSB's implementation of the gradient and where it may be different from mine. I've some ideas to make my module different, and I'll see which ones of them can be implemented.

The transitions into an application with gradient are so smooth on your module. It's great. This is something TSB lacks. The reverse tinting in the latest beta of TSB is very useful. Any chance of a similar implementation with your module?

Reverse tinting - tinting the ActionBar additionally to status bar?
Maybe, for system default ActionBar it will not be very complicated to add it, I think.
Would be useful, that's right.
But I don't want to start copying TSB line for line.
I'll think about it.
For you and to all saying that TSB's implementation is now there - as far as I can see it in the thread of TSB, even using their gradient implementation accesses the full status bar instead of using KitKat's API, which makes the "move layout option" of my module unnecessary, but I think it uses more power and it overwrites any system specific things (like that the HTC One doesn't use gradients but a bit darker color, and that the default transition effects are deactivated).
I won't view the full code on my smartphone, will look into it in a few hours, but I think that's the actual state now - TSB and TTSB are completely different working modules.
@Woalk, great app thank a lot!
It miss just a few options:
1) rearrange list of apps in alphabetical order and/or add a search function
2) Add a backup/restore settings
3) Add a color picker
4) That's all (I think so), please keep this module easy
Thanks again.
So this module is a ripoff from Tinted Status Bar?

As I said 2 posts before, it is a completely different implementation using - in my opinion - a better way to do it.
Viewed TSB's 1.8.9, and it's not nice - does some sort of hard code a gradient into the status bar. Nice for pre-KitKat, but not nice for KitKat users.
But feel free to use TSB if you like it.
Every module has its advantages.

POTATO GESTURES MOD
First, what this mod does is allow you to use gestures within your status bar. JUST SWIPE AND DOUBLE TAP ON THE CENTER OF THE STATUSBAR. ONLY FUNCTIONS THAT WORK ARE MUSIC GESTURES. SET DOUBLE TAP TO PLAY/STOP, AND SWIPE ACTIONS TO SWITCH TRACKS IN THE POTATO STATUSBAR GESTURE APP IN YOUR APP DRAWER. DO NOT REPORT SYSTEMUI FORCE CLOSES IF USING ANY OTHER FUNCTIONS. NOTE YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO SET STATUSBAR COLOR TO TRANSPARENT FOR THE GRADIENT APP TO WORK PROPERLY.
WHAT DOES NOT WORK:
CUSTOM STATUSBAR COLOR
SHOW AVAILABLE MEMORY
SLEEP
POTATO STATUSBAR GRADIENT MOD
What this mod does is allow you to select up to 4 colors for your stausbar. Transparencey is supported, and you can choose which direction the gradient goes
POTATO STATUSBAR CLOCK/DATE MOD
This mod allows you to put the clock and date wherever you want in the statusbar. You can choose multiple different formats including text clock. If you know java you can create you own display style! NOTE: IF YOU USE CENTER CLOCK THE TICKER TEXT WILL OVERLAP THE CLOCK. UNFORTUNATELY THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT.
CPU SPIED
Yet another great mod from Potato Inc. This mod shows your CPU load as well as governor in your statusbar dropdown. Use the control app to toggle on/off and toggle governor.
MIUI BATTERY BAR
Yep, its an MIUI battery bar. Select different colors for different battery levels or go one solid color. Adjustable width, and animations.
NETWORK SPEED IN STATUSBAR
Selectable on/off, choice of incoming, outgoing, and incoming/outgoing. Custom color, refresh rate, and hide when inactive. TO ACCESS SETTINGS, GO INTO SETTINGS/DISPLAY AND SCROLL DOWN TO MORE SETTINGS
3MINIT BATTERY MOD
This mod let's you choose from over 1200 battery styles, all support custom size, multiple choices include custom color, multiple choices of charging animation.
3MINIT QUICKLAUNCH
This mod allows you to choose custom app shortcuts in the Notification pulldown. There's an app avaliable in the Playstore for full control of this mod. The app is paid so I can't link it, just search 3minit quicklainch
6 SELECTABLE GRAPHIC EQUALIZER ANIMATION
This mod displays a graphic equalizer animation in notification pulldown. Use the visualizer app in the app drawer to select between 6 different graphics, or turn it off.
ADDED SD CARD READ/WRITE FIX
REMOVED IME SWITCHER
REMOVED LOW BATTERY NAG
REMOVED FULL BATTERY NAG
ADDED 4 WAY REBOOT
DISABLED SIGNATURE CHECKS
DISABLED ASEC STORAGE
ADDED 0.25X ANIMATIONS SPEEDS AND SET AS DEFAULT, ALSO ADDED SOME WICKED ANIMATIONS TO GO ALONG
ALL APPS IN MULTI-WINDOW
QUAD WINDOWS IN MULTI-WINDOW
REMOVED AIRPLANE MODE NAG SCREEN
REMOVED BLUETOOTH NAG SCREEN
LOCKSCREEN NOW ROTATES PER SYSTEM SETTING
REMOVED NOTIFICATIONS/ONGOING/NO NOTIFICATIONS TEXT FROM PULLDOWN
REMOVED TOGGLE TEXT
ADDED RAM INFO IN NOTIFICATION PULLDOWN
REMOVED STATUS BAR OVERLAY
BREATHING NOTIFICATIONS FOR MISSED CALLS, MESSAGES, AND ONGOING CALL NOTIFICATION
REMOVED AUDIO LEVEL WARNING NAG
MOVED AND CENTERED THE CLEAR NOTIFICATIONS BUTTON
ADDED APP OPS TO SETTINGS
LINKED NOTIFICATIONS AND RINGER VOLUMES (FOR SOME REASON IT DOES NOT DISPLAY IN REAL TIME IN THE EXPANDED QUICK VOLUME PANEL, BUT WORKS PROPERLY. DISPLAYS PROPERLY IN SYSTEM SETTINGS)
REMOVED CARRIER TEXT ON LOCKSCREEN
ADDED CRT SCREEN OFF ANIMATION
XPOSED PROOF FEATURE.XML
(If you wanna add your own tweaks or use your own, feature.xml is now RebootROM.XML in system/csc)
CUSTOM BOOT AND DOWN ANIMATIONS
NOTE:THIS DOES NOT HAVE BOOTANIMATION.ZIP SUPPORT, I MADE CUSTOM SAMSUNG QMG FILES

Great work Man
Glad to see you making some nice additions to the 4.4.2 Rom Selection :laugh::good:
Love some super trim roms. Any idea if the USB dock audio out works with this build? Seems to be hit or miss with 4.4 tw roms. Almost always worked with 4.3 two roms.

I think the devs just wanna leave all apps in for functionalities sake and that way people can choose what they'd like. But I hate bloat and don't use all the features of the phone so I make slim builds.

I tested it today. It does work!
On an unrelated note, some of the fonts are too big. Getting random buttons that only have a few letters of the word. Like one was a button that should say simply 'continue' but instead it had 'co' on one line and 'nt' on the 2nd line. I wanna say it was Titanium, and it was other apps as well that had large fonts in some random spots, but the buttons in pop up messaged were almost all big fonts.
