Starting with Android 5.0, the flashable zip only includes "system.new.dat" and "system.patch.dat".
Is there a way to edit/extract files from it?

I downloaded lollipop firmware using xperifirm and created the ftf file using Flashtol, but i want it rooted and the only solution i could find was using a prerooted rom.
I found prfcreator which can be used to create a prerooted rom from an ftf but i'm running liux and it doesn't seem to be running on linux specifically ubuntu 14.04.
Now can anybody point me to some instructions or direct me on how to create a prerooted rom on linux.

I bought a Doogee X5 and there isn't a stock ROM (firmware).
I would like to play a bit with other ROMs but I would like to return to the stock ROM after that too.
Is there any way to backup the current complete system as a stock ROM file or other way?

can anyone dump rooted (nougat or marshmallow h960a) system and pack it to .tot file for me (if u can)
