[MOD][XPOSED] LockDown - Control phone access based on PIN entered - Xposed Framework Modules

LockDown - XPOSED
LockDown is a security module for Xposed.
It allows you to add multiple PINs to unlock your phone. Every PIN is a profile and you can restrict certain apps from launching when using a certain profile. You can even choose to hide the apps from the drawer completely so the user will not know if they are locked out.
There is a free version for testing before you purchase the full module. Please verify it works before making a purchase.
Features
Add PINs that can unlock your device
Lock apps from launching depending on PIN entered
Hide apps from the phone completely while profile is active
Compatibility
Works with most ROMs that are similar to AOSP. Will NOT work with the following:
Heavily modified ROMs
Any lockscreen with quick unlock enabled
Troubleshooting
How do I launch the app?
To launch Lock Down for the first time call *#*#54321 from your phone app. This is the default launch key. It is recommended you change this key after opening Lock Down.
Dialing the PIN won't launch the app
Make sure you have a PIN set in your system settings already. LockDown can only be launched when the phone has been unlocked via the system PIN.
Reinstall the module and reboot your phone.
If you are still unable to launch the app please post your xposed log and a detailed summary of exactly what you did to try to launch the app.
The free version works but the paid version does not.
This is due to Android putting paid apps in /mnt/asec/ instead of /data/app/ where xposed can properly load them. Until there is an official fix for this you can install XMOD which will move apps from /mnt/asec/ to /data/app/. To use it, simply install the XMOD and then install LockDown. XMOD can be removed after LockDown has been installed.

I plan on adding Gingerbread support soon. Only reason that it is not in this release is because I don't know where xposed for GB currently stands. If it is stable enough I will gladly add support for it!
Now just to get a phone that runs GB.....

Any ideas for troubleshooting other than the ones you have listed on the play store page? I made sure all my lockscreen settings were back to default and rebooted but dialing *12345 just takes me to voicemail still.

That is very strange. I have tested it myself on a Nexus 4 running KitKat and it works. Try this:
1. Disable all xposed modules including lockdown
2. Make sure you have a PIN set via system settings
3. Restart phone
4. Enable lockdown
5. Restart phone
6. Unlock phone using the PIN you set in the system settings
7. Dial *#*#54321 and call it

cool, gonna try it
btw can it set to change the settings in different profile?

EDIT: Also please feel free to suggest any settings you have in mind specifically. I cannot make this into a DevDB yet so I can take requests here but as soon as I hit the minimum post count I will convert this thread. (Really should have joined xda sooner eh?)

Thanks for this MOD and especially for integrating Tasker support. I imagine it would be even more awesome to set different PINs/profiles based on the particular WiFi that the phone is connected to by MAC address

I locked one app, well, but nos i want see my app. How i can enter un my app?dialer doesnt work for lockdown. Thanks

Doesn't work for me.. Whenever I dial *#*#54321, it just dials that number. Samsung Galaxy S3. Official 4.3.

One question, what do you mean by, when you say "make sure you do not have quick unlock or similar feature enabled"?? What is quick unlock feature ??
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

confused
same issue i hide my apps now i am unable to access them and ... i uninstalled lockdown but my apps are still hidden ..
anyway dev its a gud concept

Can you please make the app accessible by a normal icon? The dialer doesn't seem to be working for me... im on SlimKat 3.0 gs3 VZW. I could see that you made it accessible through the dialer so another user can't change the settings but we can always just restrict the lockdown app from opening in a profile if it is accessible by a normal icon

[MOD][Xposed] XQuietHours v 2.0 (Updated)

I hate the Priority interruptions in Lollipop. So decided to port my old XQuietHours Xposed module over from Kitkat to Lollipop.
NOTE: Please un-install the previous version before installing the new one as I lost my certs and had to generate new ones.
UPDATE:
Lollipop Support
Selection of an Additional Quiet hour
Simplified the GUI
Days of week name is picked up based on Locale
Background
The QuietHours feature of CyanogenMod ROMs is very handy and a must have for me. However, when I moved over to Paranoid Android 4.4/4.5, I missed this feature heavily. So I developed a simple xposed module to bring it back.
This application was developed for personal use and hence has been tested only on a Nexus 5 with Paranoid Android 4.5 BETA 2. Though, I see no reason why it would not work on KitKat based AOSP ROMs.
I would not install this with GravityBox as it already supports this functionality, nor would I install this on CyanogenMod based ROMs for the same reason.
Tested On
Nexus 5 Paranoid Android 4.5 BETA 2.
Installation
Download and install Xposed framework
Install XQuietHours module and activate it (download from attachment)
Reboot
Open the XQuietHours app and set time range and notification options
Changelog
v1 : Initial implementation
v1.1 : Added selection of day of weeks.
v2.0 : Lollipop Support + Additional Quiet hour settings
Screentshots v2.0

Awesome work mate, will you consider creating one for TW
I'd like something like this, but the reason I don't use Gravity Box's and from the looks of this one too, it doesn't appear to have a setting to allow "starred" contacts or a certain group of contacts to bypass the silent mode, even after so many tried or anything. I wouldn't mind being woken up in the middle of the night if something serious happened. Family and close friends would get a hold of me for that and I'd like to keep that option open.
You should make it so you can add different time frames. (I.e. 4-5pm then 9-11pm)
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app
Are there any apps out there that do this for specific apps? I would love to silence just email and gmail apps overnight, but not others. I guess I just want calls and texts to ring.
I have a quiet mode on my LG G3 but I don't want to actually miss something important while I'm sleeping.
Great work here though, bravo.
is it possible to only turn it on for certain days? Ie quiet hours for Sun - Thurs. Off on Fri and Sat?
This is exactly what i'm looking for. I need to be able to allow 'All Calls' or "calls from favorites". I'm on call a lot and i dont want to be bothered with texts or emails, only emergencys. Is this in the plan to implement this? I know CM and some other ROMs support this.
So far, the app looks great...

+1. One of the reasons I don't run Carbon very often except on my tablet. Currently I use Sound Profile when I am on a GPE ROM, but every so often it loses its mind and gets out of whack...not unexpected given it is a user app instead of a system level change.
Great , just installed it
Someone mentioned it earlier but would it be possible to implement multiple specific timeframes?

[MOD][Xposed] SnapAll : Select All for Snapchat (When stories don't cut it)

DISCONTINUED
I don't have the time or motivation to update this. If you want to update this for me, feel free, it's open source.
Intro
This module adds a checkbox to the Snapchat ActionBar on the Friend Selection screen (where you select which friends to send a snap to). The checkbox functions as a "Select All" and "Deselect All".
Requirements
-Android v15+
-Xposed Framework 30+
-Snapchat 9.5.2.0
Purpose
Sometimes a Snapchat user wants to send a mass snapchat but doesn't have time to check all their 100+ friends.
Or maybe the user wants to send it to more friends than the UI allows you to do manually (200).
Or maybe the user doesn't want something to stay in their story, but wants friends to see the Snapchat once.
Notes
Snapchat is ProGuarded so major updates will break this. I surrounded everything in a try/catch for now. I hope to look at other mods and see if there is a more robust method. Digging through ProGuarded code was quite the experience.

Ok, I updated the module. There is now a setting (Xposed Framework -> Modules -> SnapAll -> (Preferences)) to disable that. I purposely had it add the snap it to the story, I figured removing that would just be a simple extra tap, but..............................
I'm on SnapChat 8.0.1 .... I downloaded the module after updating SnapChat... When will it be working on 8.0.1?
Tried on 8.0.1 and can confirm it is working.
There is a small check box in the top right corner. Its not labeled. Have a closer look.

The select all option is cool, but is it possible to have an option to not send the snap to yourself when you select all the people on your friends list?

[MOD][Xposed][5.0] Exchange bypass for Lollipop

Bypass Exchange for Nexus Lollipop OS:5.0.2.
Tested on my Nexus 6. Reported working on Nexus 5.
new: add 3rd party ROM support (like Blisspop)
add Microsoft Outlook app support
Tips:
1. Please remove your exchange account first.
2. Please activate device admin for mail client in order to proceed, it won't affect anything if everything goes well.
3. Make sure your Xposed works on Lollipop.
Any feedback, please reply to this thread, and if this works on other phones, please also reply on this thread or email me to let me know.

working fine on Xperia M Resurrection Remix 5.0.2
Running 5.0.2 on my Xperia M, installed Xposed Framework just now. Not sure if it's working but see this post which shows screenshot of the xposed app.
Looks like it's an issue with Xposed for my cell and not this app.
UPDATE: Flashed a different custom ROM, Resurrection Remix 5.0.2. now both Xposed acc this exchange security bypass works like a charm. Thanks OP, was missing this ever since I moved on from kitkat. I don't like using third part mail apps like mailwise.
When you set up exchange mail it asks you to accept the server security settings, click accept. It will not set any settings but your mail will start working. Earlier I got disheartened, thought the app isn't working, so clicked Decline. Read somewhere below that it's supposed to be like this. Hit Accept ?
Is working fine for me on nexus 5. Thanks so much for this. Really missed this since upgrading to lollipop.

How I know it works? When I set up my exchange account on my Nexus 5.0.2 (paranoid) I was asked to grant access to my work server.
Thanks.
Not working for me, nexus 5 current cataclysm ROM.
Works for me - Liquidsmooth ROM (5.0.1), Nexus 5. Thanks! Was the one thing I was waiting for to move to Lollipop.
Not working for me - I'm assuming this module targets GMail right? I have my exchange account setup in GMail and the module isn't working. Followed the steps indicated in the OP. Thanks!
EDIT: This actually is working for me, I was thrown off because it still requires you to approve Gmail as a device administrator. Looking at lockscreen security, for example, I can change it to anything including None and Swipe, options which are normally disabled without this module (the Exchange server's permissions are bypassed). Maybe in the future it will be able to disable it as a device administrator, but functionally the module is great.

Will this work with the Microsoft Outlook app? Or is it Gmail specific? The outlook app just updated today to enforce security profiles, and become admin on the phone etc. I haven't ever tried xposed, but if it's supposed to work then I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the hard work anyways!

Just added version 1.6 with "Invert Selection" as a donation feature.
I really like how this module is app specific. Thank you for working on this for us. My only suggestion is to add some unobtrusive horizontal graphics to the list of apps. On a large tablet, the distance from the enable button to the app name, and the uniform white space conspires against accurate selection. A minor detail, otherwise the app is perfect.
Im having an issue with another app that detects flag_secure status and just closes if it's not enabled. Is there anyway to bypass this detection on android?
The application is for accessing a database of practice test questions for medical students. They are trying to protect their intellectual rights, I get that. The preparation you get from them is leagues ahead of the competition. My colleagues and I all have our own subscriptions and like to share information over messaging about what questions we thought were particularly interesting and quiz each other. However, explanations are extremely nuanced and retyping full pages or drawing diagram's, while useful, only encumbers our discussion style and risks trascription errors. Being able to screenshot small tidbits is therefor paramount.
Much appreciated and much prefer this module to others that provide flag_secure disabling.

The app in question polled the LayoutParams.flags every second from a Thread to make sure the FLAG_SECURE was set.

Thanks for your feedback, however Re-Enable Screenshot is intended to enable you to take a screenshot in apps that do not normally allow a screenshot to be taken. It is not intended for prevention of screenshot detection.
Could you add (Un)Select as well as Invert Selection?
Where are screenshots being saved to?
Screenshots work as intended by your rom or version of android. Could differ by build etc. Screenshots can be found wherever your phone normally stores them.
This one actually works. Awesome!

- MAC address
- Device build number
- Kernel version string
Another interesting option available is, ability to randomize the identity for different processes.
It just hijacks the identities on the fly. Hence the original valules are not modified.
Once the app is disabled, get back all the original ids.
How to use!
You need to have an android device which is rooted and has Xposed framework installed.
Open Hijack Suite and enter custom values for the identities.
Press save.
Goto Xposed installer app.
Enable 'Hijack suite'
Reboot the device.
View the customized values being replaced at places where they are tried to fetch.(Check using different apps.)
Observe the behaviour of the app under test by changing the id values.

Hey man, great idea!
Would it be possible to also spoof the kernel version string?

Hi,
Glad you liked it.
I think it should be possible too. Let me learn a little bit on that...
Thanks!
Brilliant

Hi Antieco,
Checked these 2 apps. They are wonderful apps for personal privacy management.
I just imagined Hijack Suite as a security testing tool and developed it.
Concentrated on spoofing the device identities to apps instead of preventing access to them.
Yes, it can be treated like xprivacy or PMP.
But when you approach mine as a privacy tool, I think xprivacy and PMP are doing much better.
Also they have a lot of other features.

Does the app makes a backup from original IMEI, MAC address, Device build number, and is it restorable.
Some reports from other similar apps that they couldnt restore default data

It sounds like a good feature, I should add.
As of now, you can revert back to original identities by disabling this module within xposed installer app.
Note : You will need a reboot once, after the module is disabled.
I could have really used this module last year for a little project I did. I wound up decompling an APK to do what I wanted. I'd suggest adding phone number as another ID value. Would be very valuable in my opinion.

Don't wanna be rude, but is there any way to get the premium version for free? I'm kinda limited. But I can offer my services as an app tester.

A short question:
When you go to Turkey and use a Turkish SIM card, your phone will be blocked after 6 or 7 weeks. They do that so that you can't import phones.
Only way to use it again is to activate the IMEI somewhere, but you need a Turkish passport and pay money to do so.
Since I'm often going to Turkey I always have to search for other smartphone (taking one from my family or friends).
May it be possible that they can't block the phone when using the app? Or is it only useful for installed apps?
I have a very old Nokia phone which is active, I may be able to use the IMEI of it.
bought pro version, didn't change anything on my phone n910c with stock ROM Android M and H Vitamin Kernel

Hi,
It will spoof the IMEI number to other apps only or the programs that take OS help to get the identity.
Network providers will be able to collect original number using their own channel.
