No Service after CM10 (and back to stock) - HTC Rezound

Hi All, Yesterday I was trying to have my old backup Rezound into CM10 to replace a broken S3. I followed the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2113140 to flash my Unlocked and S-On to CM10 but after all the steps (see Q&A How to flash on S-On) everything seemed to be working ok but I have no service at all. Then I decided to move to TACHYON following the details on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2431552 but again, no service at all. Today I decided to do a downgrade to Stock via RUU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509770), I even got S-Off to follow step by step of that thread, however after all the efforts, still no service. The first time I botted after all the steps in that thread, I could see 3G for a few seconds but then everything went off and no service (I see 1 bar in my signal from time to time, but can't even make a call).
Any ideas on how to find out what the issue is and how to solve it? Right now I', S-Off, Re-Locked and with the latest RUU

So here's the new finding: I changed mobile network to just CDMA and now I could get 3G and service (good news), however if I go back to LTE/CDMA I never get to 4G. Still researching

It is weird, because I got it from Verizon yesterday (my S3 broke so I went to activet this one) and it was working ok until I flashed CM10. I won't bother to go back to verizon cause I'm getting a new phone in the next week or so, however I wish I could have 4G this few days.

I'm S-Off, I was S-on with CM10 and had to do an S-Off to go back to stock. Not sure if it is possible to go back to S-On? could that fix it?

Could be time for a re-flash. Also, try a different SIM card.

What I would do is flash the latest leak, do a factory reset with the stock recovery, flash amon back, and then ur Rom. Why not update to RLS 3.2.1 while ur at it.

Can I downgrade radio/baseband?

I am on latest baseband version : 1.12.11.0809 and Hboot 1.19. I am not S-OFF but would be doing it very soon.
I want to downgrade to earlier baseband/radio version, is it possible?

Actually, I am not getting EVDO/3G network if I use the latest radio(1.12.11.0809) . I have to downgrade to get the EVDO network.
The same thing happened with Sprint GNEX where I used to get EVDO network only on FC12 radio and no other ones.
This is the reason I want to downgrade. I know possibilities of bricking is much higher but there should be some way.

That sounds very risky. I would rather search for downgrading rather than search later for unbricking....
Guess I was one of the lucky ones. I upgraded my radios, then I got horrible 3g and cell service. I just flashed the downgraded radios and was back in business.
So I guess the moral is YMMV.

You should look at captain throwbacks post. I tried to downgrade radios and completely hard brick the phone. Don't risk it man!
Are you guys sure about this downgrading and bricking business? I know on the EVO 4G, the original one, the first exploit to change its ESN was to use an older radio... And I must have downgraded and upgraded radios on that like 5 times...
My memory may be hazy, but I am sure I did that. The same goes for Droid Incredible. Unless EVO LTE is completely different?
I am thinking of upgrading my radio too because I am using the EVO LTE on Verizon, and the signal strength is about 10db worse than a regular VZW 3G, right next to it. But if the update makes things worse, I was wondering if I can just downgrade to the stock radio...
So again, are you guys sure about this?

First off, the Evo LTE is different then previous phones. It uses the newer Qualcomm Secure Boot 3 which does A LOT more version and signature checking. It also uses eMMC flash memory instead of NAND. (Which gives the added ability of setting individual blocks of memory as read-only via low level firmware, before the OS even boots up).
Now, that said, some ppl have bricked their Evo LTE's by DOWNGRADING firmware. The biggest problem is that it's unclear what the exact combinations are which result in a brick. Therefore anyone attempting to downgrade should be very careful and read through both firmware threads before trying it themselves.
As far as using these radio's with Verizon service, your kinda on your own. The Evo LTE is the Sprint version of the HTC One X/XL and therefore the radios are (probably) tuned for best performance on Sprint's network.
And before someone asks, NO you can not use One X/XL radios on the Evo LTE. While in theory they should work, in reality you are almost 100% guaranteed to brick.
Unfortunately the newest generation of phones is much more secure, more complicated and extremely lacking in hardware documentation, compared to older ones.

That's a very fair, detailed post Soul Shadow... Appreciate the knowledge... Guess I will not be touching the radios then...
Unless you guys can confirm or debunk that the new radios have improved your signal strength by any chance?

OK, after reading a lot and with help of all of you guys, I finally downgraded my radio from 1.12.11.0809 then I went to 1.05.11.0606 and then to 1.02.12.0427.
Though it didnt helped me getting 3G signals but downgrading is possible and this may help anyone out there to do the same.
I used the bootloader flashables and just flashed it. I am on 1.19 boot with S-OFF.
Just tried downgrading from 1.12.11.0809 (latest OTA) to 1.05.11.0606 via bootloader and got a brick. I'm on 1.19 S-OFF hboot.
Any ideas on unbricking besides JTAG?

[Q] Lack of 4g LTE

So I am a flashaholic, I admit it. And proud lol
However, I have noticed that I am no longer getting 4g/LTE connectivity. I keep getting network errors on pretty much every rom I try I have decent service in my area and my wife's Galaxy s3 is getting great service.
To get some service i have been switching to CDMA only is there something else I could do?
Tks

You could try update PRL & Profile.
Or RUU back and you still experience issues then go to Sprint to warranty it out.. Hope you get it fixed

I had the same problem until I updated radios that matched the ROM base I was using... I could nandroid back to earlier roms and have 4g, but new roms wouldn't connect reliably to 4g until I updated the radio to match. I'm S-On, so I just did the recovery flashable radio.
Thanks

Try doing a full update from this post --------> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704612&highlight=radios+jewel
Take every PRECAUTION when flashing radios PRI etc...., they are they easiest way to brick your phone!
It happened to me. After flashing mean 6.4 I lost LTE. The only way I could connect is by switching to CDMA only. I reflashed different roms, unrooted, updated the software, re rooted, soff again, fixed permissions, profile, prl, called sprint and did numerous resets.
In other words, I think its toast.
I'm headed to the sprint store in the morning.

I believe LTE was confirmed to work in international roms. Would be nice if someone confirms too because tomorrow my 64gb HTC one comes in and I'll be unlocking the boot loader, rooting it, installing a custom recovery, and if LTE works, trick droid. Trick droid has lte in its change log btw.
Edit: LTE is confirmed to work on trick droid and android revolution HD. now for custom kernels.

Return To Stock

I've seen some very good threads on rooting the HTC One. I have rooted mine, but due to some of the issues I am having with cell reception, I'd like to go back to stock. Does anyone know how to return to stock, or is there a thread that I have yet to find?

I'd like to return to stock. I rooted and flashed the Google Edition ROM, but my cell service was bouncing between HSPA+ and 3G constantly. So I tried re-flashing the ROM a few more times. All with the same results.
At this point, I just want to go back to stock so that I can reliably make phone calls and using my data.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure that's normal operation. Before there were more T-Mobile specific ROMs, you'd see the 3G icon when the network was idle, but when data started to transfer, it switched to the H+ icon. The same thing is happening on whatever ROM you're using, but you're just not seeing the icons flip back and forth.
Thanks. I'll get this flashed ASAP.
