Hello everybody, I want show my first mod in SP thread
I present my mod Camera to fully your taking picture in SuperiorAuto with 8MP
-->Requirements:
1. Root and CWM
2. Deodex
-->How to install:
1. Go to CWM
2. Backup your data first
3. Before install wipe dalvik chace
4. Instal my mod in here https://www.dropbox.com/s/ej5z1ctnoqip921/8MP SUPERIOR AUTO FOR XPERIA SP.zip
5. And reboot
Note: after reboot goto settings/app/all clear data in camera and try your camera mod now
THIS WILL WORKING TOO FOR USER HANOMI CAMERA IN 4.1.2

Work ok! but not use quick lauch (press camera button anywhere) camera anymore. Pls check and fix!
Sorry but to do that, I use since weeks the xposed module named 20MP SuperiorAuto.
Initially for Z1 (and 20MP), it perfectly works on SP to have 8MP in superiorauto mode! :good:

MIUI 2.8.10ported by MiryuBUGS discovered so far:

- Somewhat laggy video recording ( only visual bug I guess)
Fist of all I want to thank jjdoctor for the porting method. All credits go to the MIUI devs and jjdoctor for the porting method.
Installation:
I recomand to do a CWM backup before you install.
1. enter CWM Recovery and select "Install zip from sdcard" -> "choose zip from sdcard"
2. choose "miuiandroid_LT18i-2.8.3.zip" and install
3. do step 1. and 2. again but now install "miuipatchXT18i.zip"
4. Return to SWM options and select "full wipe/factory reset" (this will erase all the data in your phones memory like contacts,sms etc..)
5. reboot and enjoy

Yes you can use the porting method on any MIUI ROm originally made for Arc S
If youre experienced , you can use this guide http://thetrisatria.com/how-to-port-miui-lt18i-to-your-xperia-ray-in-10-minutes.html
My rom is already modded so if you download my file you dont need to do the editing. But if you want to try and port some other rom this guide is the right thing for you

hi how can i fix this bug?: backlight around home button doesnt light, only when i disable automatic brightness and thats for 4 sec to ligh off and i must click it again... where i have a problem ?

Do not use any other boot image
Do not restore backups, instad of using backups install all apks from Playstore. Do not be lazy! Do not complain if something not working if you not folow my recomends!

How to install:
Step 1:
1. Install oficial Sony Jelly Bean rom, which mean by SPC or Flashtool
2. Unloch your bootloader
Step 2 (proced only if you completed step 1):
1. Place zip to sdcard
2. Extract boot.img from zip and flash them using fastboot
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Wipe data factory reset (do not skip this)
5. Wipe system partition (do not skip this)
6. Install zip
7. Reboot
8. Configure your phone
9. Open LBE and enable root
10. Reboot
11. On next boot you will see confirmation warning dialog, grant and chech option "remember"
12. Reboot again
13. On next boot configure permissions for your apk using LBE feature
14. Open settings menu and set ineractive governor using cpu control sub menu
15. Do not use any other governor, interactive must be used only!
16. Set proces limit to 4 after every reboot (Go to settings -> developer options -> background process limit -> set process limit to 4), (on every reboot these settings is restored to default so you need to set them up again)
17. Enjoy
If you installing all next versons, than you no need to wipe anything, simple install zip and boot, it will upgrade you to the new version!

Can you make a flashable zip? which will make any ROM Extreme security.
it has to copy or replace the libraries.

Instructions:
Take the rom to Sd card
Flash stock ICS and let it boot once! Must do!Get it from here..
Flash kernel[Kernel][Sept 20]Experimental v9.0c[JB 4.1.2]
Boot to recovery
WIPE CACHE,DATA,DALVIK(HIGHLY RECOMENDED )and then flash ST25i_6.2.A.1.100_unofficial.zip.
Reboot to system
Flash LED BAR FIX1 or LED BAR FIX2 (In case v1 not work then try v2)
After Installation go to Developer Settings>CPU settings>Governer(ondemand)>I/O scheduler(cfq)
NOTE-1:After install the rom pls delete Taskswitcher.apk
and install this [JB]Xperia Z Taskswitcher with cache partion and dalvik cahce
NOTE-2:if problem persist in led bar then again flash the rom without any wipe
some time r/w in root explorer may not work as it is happening in maximum rom
so in that case you flashPhantom Performance-CWMTouch.zip
Then install your mods with wipe caches and dalvik
After that again install the Experimental Kernel Everything will work fine
Use this Note only if r/w is not working in Experimental Kernel
NOTE-3:Updates of the roms will come as a small update zip rather full rom

mounting problem is existing in most of the rom..btw it is not rom related ..it is kernel related..munjeni gave me a link how to fix this..i have posted
that link in general section..hope some developer will solve this soon

i have flashed v2.3 alpha 1...after successfuly led bar working you can wipe caches and dalvik caches during mod installation

everything is working fine on xu..if somehow icons are black then uninstall and install them again..before uninstalling clear their caches
in settings>apps>all>app_name...and yes you have to flash cybershot first and follow the instruction given in that thread..and before installing
clear cache and dalvik must and after installation clear chace of camera app then use it otherwise it will fc
what's the difference in this? also if you have made the rom, why tell us to remove and add apps etc. shouldn't they already be added in the zip by you?

about ROM???it has no boltware i think..and without boltware phone works little bit faster and during the time of editing of the rom i thought that i had pushed a general taskswitcher.apk into it..but after compilation when i installed i got a small app taskswitcher(my fault) then i installed small app as mentioned in the thread and it worked without any lag and system slow..that is the reason

on fresh install of the rom you will get 100-130mb free ram...but after installed a lot of apks about 30 i usually get 70mb..and i dont play harder games but templerun all version and subwaysurfer is working fine for me..although ram management is decent but i never feel hang or lagy like previously released jb..hope in future someone will solve this ram management problem

Both Home and new Camera apk working here, not installed Battery care. I'm on Xpower 3.0 stock kernel and wiped all cache after install them and set the right permission. I tested the camera is real working bcoz the new Quick Swipe to switch to front camera is working to me.

Very strange about camera, I'm on Xpower 4.0 and I already wipe cache / dalvik ... it seems nav bar visibility is not hidden. I tried with Gravity box and app settings to remove only with camera but it's not working
[edit] OK working now, I had to use superusermode changer from serarj, and clean install

I'm going to install XPower V4.0 tomorrow. Can you share me the link of superusermode changer from serarj?
I tested the new camera and yes ... it real improved many things like color, quality, speed, exposure, focus.

I'm going to install XPower V4.0 tomorrow. Can you share me the link of superusermode changer from serarj?
I tested the new camera and yes ... it real improved many things like color, quality, speed, exposure, focus.

It's weird .... I have been installed XPower V4(stock kernel) but I don't need superusermode changer and the new camera has no problem to me. Maybe you have some xposed module conflicted with it?

You can also update to the X Compact SuperVideoCamera.apk now and I tested it's also working.

Camera UI isn't displayed correctly for me. The Top area with the sliders of the available modes is missing for me. Can anyone help me? I tried appsettings but it isn't working unfortunately.
Yes the same happened to me, I had to install Superusermod (link above) replace apk / delete lib folder / wipe cache & dalvik cache (install apk again, I don't remember exactly), good luck it's working on our device :good:
