Hi all. I wanna ask does your guys P780 will enter deep sleep mode while charging? Because mine did not enter deep sleep while charging, CPU frequency constantly runs @ 497MHz while charging, but if unplugged it will enter deep sleep mode. Just wondering is it normal? By the way I am on stock Vibe ROM 4.2.2 but rooted. And what's the temperature of your batteries while charging? Mine staying @ 45C while charging which is quite warm, ambient temperature is around 29-30C.

I have buy the Samsung Galaxy SII PowerPack and now i see that the Galaxy doesn't change the CPU Speed to Deep Sleep.
The Same is when i Charging the battery with the charger.
Have maybe somebody a custom rom or Something else where the CPU go into DeepSleep by charging.
In Some other forum i Have read that the battery need the CPU to control the loadvoltage? Are this possible?
If i do nothing with my SGS II the PowerPack will be empty round about 9Hours because, the SGS II it's on a charger and the CPU are work bye 200MHZ

You should get those 9 hours from the standard battery easily. Have you tried the standard battery to see if you still have Deep Sleep problems?
It's often just some app eating away batterylife.

If i doesn't charge the battery by AkkuPack or Charger my phone works with the deep Sleep Mode!! Test by CPU Spy.
U can test it also. Connect u're phone to the charger and u will the the von doesn't go into Deep Sleep or u must correct me
I mean if the phone and akkupack 100% loaded i have the message "full loading" for 9hours. After this time the Akkupack is empty the message is away and my phone have 100% at this moment. After this time the Deep Sleep mode works fine!!! Because no charging!
That is because those power packs just keep charging the phone. You can't expect it to go to deep sleep.
On a side note since that is just keeping the phone battery charged it is actually wrecking the phone batteries life by reducing its recharge cycles. Which is why you are supposed to unplug the phone when it is fully charged.
For the Samsung Galaxy S1 there was an ON/FF Button.
My Question is, give it a custom Rom or something else what stay my phone in deep sleep by charging? Or is it a Hardware problem

The phone does not enter deep sleep while charging.
You can force it though with SetCPU and adding a custom filter to be executed when you charge the phone.
It usually stays at 200mhz when charging which is correct, how could it be in a deep sleep when it's plugged into a wall socket or charging via USB.
I have xolo q700 , and now it has been 3 month purchasing it. In normal usage it gives me 3+ days of battery life with around 95% of deep sleep It works great but due to deep sleep issue there is a battery drain of around 12-15% overnight .
This issue arises when the battery gets below 15% and I get the Low battery notification, and after that, the CPU does not go to DeepSleep anymore, it stays in the 200MHz area.
The only procedure that will stop the "fuel alert" process is by restoring or by wiping cache partition in recovery mode or removing the battery and attaching it back. After that, everything works fine until the next 15% battery notification
After the 15 % battery notification, it never goes into deep sleep and always stay awake
Charging the phone does not help. After the phone is fully charged and after I disconnect the cable, the CPU continues to stay in the 200MHz area according to cpy spy .Thus I will never get a DeepSleep again, no matter what I'm doing.
I have 4.2.1 jellybean && linux kernal version 3.4.5 . I have only 3-4 app installed including whatsapp that all and my WiFi ,GPS are always off
Does anybody has any idea what shall I do. And why is this happening so? Of course I can charge the phone before getting below 15% but this is not always possible.
I have the same problem with Prestigio PAP4500DUO but my phone stays at 1000 MHz all the time. After restarting, deep sleep works fine until battery reach 15% again.
My phone is ZTE V967S. The CPU is MT6589.
Several days ago, I found battery draining is much faster than before. It takes 5% per hour just in idle.
The only abnormal thing I noticed is the CPU status in Trickster Mod. Almost no deep sleep, 94% time is running in 1.2g. In fact, the screen on time is less than 1 hour.
I also checked wakelock but no app went wild.
Even after I clean flash the official rom. The CPU still cannot goes into deep sleep. I also tried many other roms like LEWA and carliv's rom but still no luck.
Eventually, I use Deep Sleep Battery Saver and it can force the CPU to deep sleep. But I don't really like using "battery saving" app.
Anyone has any idea. Please help my poor MT6589 to deep sleep like normal without 3rd party app.
My TAB S7 gets left in airplane mode when I'm not using it and yet the battery drains 40% in a week with zero use. I have all but my essential apps in deep sleep. What gives?
My Huawei tablet loses 10% a week in airplane mode.
Maybe just plug it in?
