Well. I bought my htc one max 2 days ago at a verizon store, paid full retail price. Unlocked bootloader, s-off, rooted. Today i noticed something weird on the screen, when i scroll the screen behaves weird, i don't know how to explain it. My question is. What do i have to do in order to get my phone replaced. Lock bootloader? S-on? Unroot? How am i supposed to do that? Thanks in advance.

I had to submit for a warranty device from VZW (plastic banding was loose and jamming volume/power keys) and I just decided to be a total lazy ass. Removed su, and set boot loader flag to "lock" to get fingerprint scanner working again. Hboot was still showing a ton of "bad" stuff, and the red text was on the splashscreen.
Got a replacement device, no charge back, no hassles, nothing.

Nice just now my game won't get last that downloading (I'm assuming game data) screen since I recovered from a back up (viper DNA to supreme hatka back to viper DNA) tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but no go sucks really liked the game

Uninstall, delete all data from the sd. Install the new version and try.
Each time you open the game, this makes an update check a bit hard because the servers are slow and far think, like 40 seconds to open but if it works fine

Did you make a clean install? Clean all the previous data related with the game? Wifi or cellular data?

But this does have to do with the Note 2 because I flashed roms for the Note 2 in all these different places.

Same here, I dont anymore but I've flashed this sucker and quite a few other phones while driving.
The weirdest place I've flashed would probably be in post-op recovery room. I had just woke up, from having a new procedure to hopefully help my back pain, and found out my favorite rom had an update so I flashed immediately!

I was having an issue getting into the recovery. I flashed a boot.IMG I found in one of the ROMs I downloaded. I fixed the issue of being able to get into recovery but now I have no 4g service, only 3g. Should I flash a different boot.IMG or something else? Need help.
I used fastboot erase cache to fix the recovery issue.

You can't use flash different boot.img from different roms.
What I would do it flash a stock based rom. After it boots factory restore it. hat will then replace all the system partition from there then flash the desired rom you want. See if that fixes it.
Downloading the rage dna rom right now. Going to give that a shot.

I did the instructions on the page you linked but that didnt make a change. Still no 4g. Just ran the 3.06 RUU exe but that didnt make a change either.
Then I guess you got a hardware problem, or there is no 4g in your area at this time.
Or you need a new SIM card.

When I have lte turned on and late shows in the status bar next to the signal I have no mobile data, I cannot make a call or get online. Pull down the quick toggles and under lte shows no service.

I still have my HTC One from last year, and I have noticed a big change in the audio output ever since HTC's contract with Beats was over. At any rate, is there a way to flash Beats Audio to the Max?
I posed the same question here a few weeks ago and was told no. But was told to try the ViPER4Android_FX which is a flashable zip. You can find reference to it in these threads.

You should at least s-off while you can so preserve the option to root later. You can stay stock while s-off and even while rooted. I have.

Thanks for giving it a try. The speaker was still okay but switching to earpiece it turned silent. I saw where you changed the earpiece DB to about 35 in several locations, it seems like it should have worked.
