[Q] G510 - Image signature verify fail - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Regards to all!
Another brick I know...
I tried to install TeamWin, found this post on htcmania com showthread.php?t=591253.
Anyway on step 4. Ejecuta windows.bat the install-script I mess up recovery.img I suppose.
When I Power ON phone, I got this message:
Image signature verify fail!
Your boot/recovery image may have an incorrect signature.
...
Only have access to famous "Pink screen", tried many of update.app but every time it fails.
Also, is it necessary to unlock bootloader for this update.app, or to do something else, because it keeps fail on every firmware for G510 and Y300 that I try by now? I'm newbie to this, so sorry if is this stupid question (which I guess it is).
Is there any solution for this, any suggestions guys? Please, I'm close to breakdown.
----
Almost sure that I'm doing something wrong, tried these ROMs below (maybe some other also, but I wrote these in note later) and same error "Fail" .
B165
B166
B173
B178
B189
Anyone with idea?

I manage somehow (friend bought at same time) to find out potential ROM version, B195.
Googled for it, but no success by now.
To be specific: V100R001C00B195
Does someone have a link maybe?

Have a friend who works in phone service. They have an original ROM and he Flash it.
So for the future people who have same problem, here is explanation which I found on net:
"FAIL VERIFY IMAGE SIGNATURE":
The explanation is that the original recovery has a function to install zips with a particular firm, in this case should be Huawei.
However, almost all the ROMS officers who have taken both individual operators and Huawei for this phone have been format Update.app, installable using the "Firmware installer" phone and all had considerable weight.
But there have been some cases in which any operator like Orange Spain, used a zip supplied via OTA (like Update.app ) weighing approximately 90 MB (A minor update) whose function is to update the compilation B179 to B195, and what happens with this update zip format, is that the system makes a brief signature verification bootloader and the recovery and boot.img.
If the system detects that the Bootloader, the recovery or boot.img not have the original signature of Huawei or have been inserted through a hack or the like without having unlocked the bootloader officially, we will automatically display the following message after trying to install "Image Verify signature fail" in red letters.
The reason is surely and as I said before, we have unlocked the bootloader by an unofficial method or change some of those partitions by some hack before installing the zip, and this zip file contains the bootloader, recovery and boot.img because of their small weight, ie, is not able to replace him as the Update.app to return to the originals and leave us avoid this error signature verification.
A Update.app Bootloader completely regenerates us, so they used to solve 90% of problems. In this case we have no salvation unless there is a compilation format've tried installing Update.app or higher, and all other Update.app will Fail in the installation.
In the case of Orange model no Update.app the B195 is no compilation or compilation superior format Update.app , so we must take the SAT to have it fixed, and of course, do as we do not know what happened if we submit to third grade.
Solution is to find adequate ROM and flash with it. Mine was as I mention V100R001C00B195 and on net I can't find that one, so phone service was my destiny. Hope someone else will have more luck.
Regards!

You need to put the UPDATE.APP in a folder named "dload" in the sdcard and push vol - and + at the same time then power until it shows updating

Hi , sorry but my phone still doesn't works . I have tried several firmware updates and roms . but non of them worked , thanks from nagalun because of his wise answer, but still I have these problems :
1- it fails in any frimware update ( from huaweinews.com - huawei original frimware from company site - y300 frimwares , etc)
2- phone doesn't mounts in pink screen (I have found the question in the forum . so I'm following it and still no solution . if anyone knows the answer , search for the question and answer it there )
please help me

Hi,
as above, the same problem with my sons G510. He has a Huawei G510-0100 phone, with a 4.1.1 Android, Vodafone (European)version.
I'd try to flash TWRP to install a custom ROM, but the phone now shows only that the image/recovery signature is invalid. The phone doesn't starts, can't enter in fastboot or recovery mode, but I can acces the pink screen. Thats all, the phone is stucked there.
How can I repare this halfbricked device?
(PS.
From Huawei's webpage I downloaded the factory G510-0200 Kernel (3.4.0 version, .rar file).
My phone is G510-0100 version.)

Solved.
I had the same problem. I installed custom recovery and I woke up with error "Your boot/recovery image may have an incorect signature" bla, bla, bla.
How solved I? Simple.
You must reflash stock rom for your Huawei Ascend G510 (0100, 0200 or 0251). If not know your version? Don't wory. Download and flash everyone version until result is ok.
All you need find here http://huawei-g510.com/

(Q) root panasonic eluga (dl1)

Hi,
Is there someone who can help me with rooting this phone?
I tried every single method I could find but none of them worked

I have found a way to root the softbank p01d wich is in some aspects a similar phone. see link: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/naba_san/20120729/#1343534208
If there would be someone who can help, that would be really great!
And it would help other Panasonic eluga users too because there are already some topics asking for rooting.
Thanks
I was thinking: if I could make a custom recovery from clockworkmod custom recovery builder and root it
from there.
would this work? and how can I extract recovery.img from a non-rooted phone?
I know I could just take it from a downloaded firmware but as far as I know there are none on the internet.
thanks

Edit: I just found a japanese software update : panasonic.jp/mobile/support/fota/p04d/download.html
I downloaded it and extracted the *.dat file. In there are some files: mtd5 (320bytes), mtd6 (10MB), mtd8 (161Bytes), mtd9 (8.51MB),
mtd10 (207kb) and mtd13 (10.2MB). They have no extension and I can't open them.
I know they are partition files so I renamed mtd8 to mtd8.img (my guess for the recovery partition) and submitted it to the clockworkmod builder site.
Let's see if this could bring rooting the eluga a little closer
Update:
I have found the partitions of my phone :
Now i have to pull the original recovery from mmcblk0p11 (I think).
I tried it with: (in adb shell) /system/xbin/busybox dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p11 of=/mnt/sdcard/recovery_main.img
But it doesn't work because it needs root for that
But I can access busybox because I accendently have been able to copy it to /system/xbin
Don't know how but it works and I can't copy any files to /xbin or /bin anymore. Otherwise it would be easy to root.
Any more help would be really helpfull because i'm not an expert modder. I know how to work with commands an adb though.
I also have a dualboot with ubuntu and windows so maybe if there are some linux tools that could do the trick...
thanks
Keep it up !
It seems that noone cares about dL 1. I would appreciate to take away the camera shutter sound and boost volume in music a bit if rooted.
Please post any updates !
I'll do that But at the moment it seems i'm the only one trying to root this phone
Anyway: Time for the next update:
With the X-ray security app I discovered that my device is only vulnerable to the levitator exploit.
so i made a script using that exploit:
Unfortunatly this is also giving me an error :crying: and this is the only exploit that "could" work.
So, I need some more help!
Also tried the m9.r00t.apk app (wich uses the levitator exploit). Nothing happens.
grtz
I tried every single exploit, including these:
d.hatena.ne.jp/isakulion/20120619/1340101173
www22108u.sakura.ne.jp/files/p01d/
And here is a wiki www34.atwiki.jp/eluga/pages/18.html
If I could just dump the default recovery, I could make a Clockworkmod recovery. The panasonic can flash a update from file storage.
so if I could convert that clockworkmod recovery to mtd11 and zip it in a *.dat file (standard file format for software update) I could flash it to the phone. And try to root it from there.
But first I need to dump the original recovery.
I could use some help
Next update:
I updated the ADB drivers from Superoneclick with those from the panasonic P04D ADB drivers.
Now it doesn't hang on step 7 but it installs busybox. But then the app freezes
Screenshots:
I also tried this method:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477752
I think my phone doesn't have fastboot I tried all button combo's but the only thing I can get into is stock recovery.
And if I type: fastboot devices, no device shows up.
@ Mods: maybe it's better to move this thread to here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=565
Thanks

Did you root the dL1 Eluga?
Hello,
would you have any news on the procedure to Root the Eluga?
br
dbSman
did you root Eluga?
Hello,
where you able to root the Panasonic dL1 Eluga?
Android 4.0
Panasonic Germany twitter says me: Hello, we are expecting the end of October with an update. Maybe can arrange money for those who doing root for our device?
today i decided to buy this pretty phone for my lady .. because of the price and because as of today an ICS update is available ... but yes, a way to root it would be very nice :highfive:
it is possible to have root access with ics update? please check
ICS not working for me
Just tried running the Panasonic Eluga ICS update, and it tells me my phone is up to date (2.3.5), oh dear.....
uhm, cancel the ics update app and then re-install i hear that someone has this problem
news?
HI...i am the user of this model but the model name not same. so, the eluga ics update i cant to use, any one can send the elugaics update apk to me?:crying:
Eluga factory reset
Hi guys,
i got my eluga yesterday and ran straight into Problems. My SIM-Card i not recognized by my phone (But i know it works in other phones).
Then I tried to update the phone. At first the "smaller Gingerbread" update, which worked fine.
Still no change on SIM functionality.
After that I tried to get the ICS update running. Strange is, it downloads the package, but when going to instal it, suddenly it is not possible (research: Most others werent albe to download the package in the first place, their eluga said straight away it were up-to-date and stopped the update process).
I tried to do a factory reset with the function provided in settings. This resulted in a bootloop. It gets to the Lockscreen but i cant do anything and then it restarts over and over again. With holding the power button for a long time i am able to get it booting normal again. Just to see that nothing was done. The factory reset simply did nothing except for the bootloop and a cleared user space partition.
I wonder if theres a secret procedure to perform a reset on boot?
I also tried to gain root access but no luck so far...
With root i think the wipe could be done through adb right?
I have the suspicion that the "panasonic recovery" is damaged. This would in my noobish opinion explain why the factory reset goes wrong and the update stops when its intended to instal the rom (both actions update and reset are performed by a kind of recovery program right?).
Iam thankful for any Input

i think nothing with success, i downloaded some tool from chinese forum for recowery with boot.img
in it. But I think that was the problem, becouse when I opened that tool the boot was something Y201t.
and than all went wrong. Wifi error, butons mixed and screen problem. I fund onother tool wich fixed wifi,
but buttons and screen remains the same.
I downloaded tools and roms that much my desktop was full, and nothing works.
I tried to put the dload with update.app on sd to install but when it start goes 1/2 and after few seconds error and remove batery.
I tried different update.app files but nothing. Im totally new in this so I don't understand it that good.
I think but Im not sure, if you could point me the link with some tool like recowery it would fix this.
I wanted just to fix the phone to work normally, with original rom.
that would be enough for me, and I'll sell it definitly if you could help me to fix this
Thanks and I'm sorry for my bad engllish and poor knowladge.

i think the problem.. is that.. see to sometimes.. custom recovery.. like cwm and twrp doesn't really work well when you try to flash stock ROMS.. so.. do you have your stock recovery? if so try going into download mode/pink screen mode ..replace cwm with your stock recovery.img.. then try updating again..

Hello Again,
I try to use the GB original firmware already.
I couldn't flashing the ROM. It was write in the first note.
As you can see in the pictures.
Something is go wrong with the CRW install (y210D )
Maybe the fastboot or something other because the 210D options available in my 210-100. I mean the HOME, BACK, MENU buttons working like in case 210D.
The SD card flashing not working. (cry, cry, cry)
I can find this informations in the sd_update.log:
"filename = /mmc1/dload/update.app
call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST
CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xf0000000, len_tmp=0x2c54
"
Someone can unpack the app file? Maybe there can find the solution.
Thanks,
desperate Tony. (HUN)

Hi,
Yes the CWR working well. I can make backups and every function working as well.
I have tried some rooting method but no one worked.
The truth, I didn't want to install CWR just I wanted to ROOT my mobile.
Reason: Too less memory makes slow the phone, and write it "too less memory pls delete some program etc..."
But ones, after the y210D CWR install, I can root the phone with SuperOneClick 2.3.3. (yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaah)
ROOT, UNROOT, SHELL ROOT working well ( I said excellent.)
AFTER: Just I can't use HOME/BACK/MENU keys and WI-FI. (Cry)
Summary.
I'd like install the factory Firmware (I am not able to do this because it is freezing on 2nd step.) You can see in previous 2 pictures.
I'd like rooting the phone. Reason: intstall or moving programs to SD card.
I wouldn't like install the CWR because no need it for me.
Something BAD thing happend during the CWR install with 210D, because after the boot I have experience the functionality difference.
Okey I think maybe a bit difficult my English. If something no clear please write here and i will try to rephrase that.
Thanks.
Tony.

Hi everyone!
Maybe the problem with the "upgrade" option is the next.
This firmware method not able to downgrade just upgrade or re install the actual firmware.
I have checked the current version and now ver. Y210-0100V100R001C00B876!!! Android kernel 2.6.38.6 pref.
I can't find the newer one this kind of version on the Huawei support site.
Just I can find these: V100R001C00B856 and V100R001C00B839.
These versions younger like on mine.
Maybe this is the problem?
Does someone a B876 version Ascend 210-100 link please?
Thanks.
Tony.

AT&T SM-105A Stock Firmware Needed!

I know others have looked as well but can anyone *please* dump the rom of their AT&T 4.2.2 stock image for the good of all us AT&T S4 Zoom owners who are stuck in a logo reboot loop or have other problems that require a restore? There are currently no images available on any of the usual places (Samsung firmware, updates etc.)
Thanks very very much in advance!
If you not found any stock rom for C105A At&t... & Your Phone is In Boot loop Stuck on Samsung Logo... Then Just Flash C105A Mexico C105AUBUAND1, 4.2.2 System And Cache Separately in Odin...
This will not work because the AT&T variant of the phone is bootloader locked. You are not able to flash firmware variants unless they are for the AT&T version of the phone. Hence why so many people need a firmware image for AT&T. If anyone has or can make a DD.Image it would help a lot of people.

I'd like to help. I've extracted system.img and cache.img from an AT&T sm-c105a (4.2.2). Unfortunately I didn't read the above instructions very well and placed them both in an odin flashable tar.md5 file. I guess if you want to follow the above proceedure you will need to flash them separately. On the other hand, if you have a brick already anyway, you could just try it out. Any problems with the file post here. Mediafire was being dodgy and I wouldn't be surprised if it was damaged. Anyway here is the link, or as close a facsimile as my noobness will allow: http www mediafire com /download /xbdxb8gun1niwg9 /sm_c105a.zip
So, I assume from the deafening silence that this did not work? I'm not surprised since a dd of a mounted partion (system) can't be a good idea. I have been experimenting with Adebar which is also supposed to make a system backup. Doesn't seem to fully support the phone, or, doesn't create the full backup. I'm open to other ideas....

Here are a cache and system image from the AT&T variant of the phone. @awwar can you be more specific. You are in a boot loop? No recovery?? Device recognized by Odin/Heimdall??? I am VERY interested in providing a way to unbrick our phones but am unwilling to brick my only device. If you want to try something post here and I will provide what support I can.
My CM-C105A is in Kies recovery mod mode. I can flash only system and cash tar files. Kies show error when i am traing to recover my phone.
Have you tried the pit file? Sometimes that might help?? Also, I have a boot.img download further up the page. If your bootloader is bad you could get similar symptoms? Kies doesn't like my boot/recovery images? Can you post the specific error? Thanks for replying. c_p

@awwar Here are recovery and boot images and pit file from AT&T version of phone Build # JDQ39.C105AUCUAMJ2. Kies may not be able to restore if you have a damaged bootloader source. But, on a plus note, "I haven't run into anyone yet who couldn't undo soft brick from Odin" source

Nothing changed, I flashed whith this firmwares but error. This firmware is too large.
@awwar Ok man, thanks for testing. I hope your skills extend further than the average windows user. You have to extract the files and then repackage them for odin as tar.md5. I think you can do it in windows but I can only talk you through it if you are using linux. I am not sure which image to flash first but Faisalkhan.007 in the first page suggests doing it one file/partition at a time. I would flash my recovery and on reboot try using volume up and home to get to the newly flashed recovery. I think you are getting file too large because you've got more than one file in your flash package. Restore the pit file as a last attempt after trying to flash each partition. I'd love to figure out how to pass you the bootloader only but I've got another project ahead of this. Did you look at some of those links? Try this (search for download mode on the page) if you are having trouble getting to download mode. And this is for osX but might help too. The errors you are getting don't sound like the one I get. I upload an entire file then fail at 100% for an unknown reason. The Heimdall guys say that is due to the locked bootloader. TLDR: Split files, flash singly, reboot and try stuff in between. c_p

I have *three (3)* SM-C105A S4 Zoom Camera phones by Samsun and enjoy them. I have upgraded firmware on 2 so that I can use Remote ... uh, is it Viewfinder? And it works. Not to the point. What I *lost* was compatibility with *ooooooold* Photo Elements. Which, at age 57 I like to use and don't want to relearn. I run it on a virtual XP. What makes this post relevant is that *third* S4. It *hasn't* upgraded. Cracked screen, disused, but I crammed.. well, a bit of fibrous matter...OK , a ciggy-butt, in the battery door, with a rubber-band, to hold a fresh battery in place, ... and it's booting now. So, please give me a month to extract the firmware, yes it is AT&T and also upload Photo Elements, firmware from old and upgraded, to continue the discussions, or not, and to try cloning the two to restore my ability to post process nudies shot with my camera phones. And other pics. I wrote an AI MathCAD program to postprocess nudies (it's fine art fer heaven's sake) that actually simualted the artist's brush strokes. More on all this in I hope a month.

No, back when, I must have applied, not the most recent upgrade, but the intermediate of the three versions.....and all hope is lost. Photos from the oldest S4 I have do *not* open in Photo Elements. None of my cameras produce photos that open in Photo Elements any longer...but they did. I opened an older photo just now.
Dang these upgrades. The message says the JPG file is missing a segment. Phooey.
I have a business account with Samsung and will open a support ticket.
I will not pursue the hack angle for now.
Samsung may help me.
Cheers,

@DGoncz You could do that, or, you could just do a complete wipe/reset. Should be 4.2.2 after that. You may also be able to use a hex editor to set the start of the jpeg file to whatever your proggie wants to see. Good luck c_p

Lenovo Tab 7 Essential (TB-7304F) Hard Bricked

Introduction
3 days ago, I decided to flash my TB-7304F with its stock ROM, downloaded from NeedROM (https://www.needrom.com/download/le...ndroid-7-and-frp-instructions-and-flash-tool/).
Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to ignore the flashing instructions given below and decided to do it 'my way' (even though I was fully aware that it leads to problems 95% of the time).
Anyway, so I decided to go for the Firmware Upgrade option in SP Flash Tool. Initially, it progressed as expected:
The DA was downloaded successfully
The blue 'Format' bar filled up to 100%
Flashing was about to start
But suddenly, an error message popped up and I panicked and closed it without reading it first.
Then the problems started...
The Problems
I decided to boot up the device, even though I knew it wouldn't work (and it didn't, as expected).
After the full format, the device essentially has nothing inside it.
I have lost Bluetooth/Wi-Fi configurations, everything.
I didn't even keep a backup of the NVRAM, so I don't know how far I can go about restoring those informations.
Now, whenever I try to flash my device with the firmware, I get a different error with each mode (Download Only, Firmware Upgrade, Format All + Download).
In each case, the 'Downloading DA' bar fills up to 100%, followed by an error message.
Download Only
When I choose 'Download Only' for flashing, the error that I get is "ERROR: STATUS_SEC_DL_FORBIDDEN (0xC0020004)" (screenshot below).

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Firmware Upgrade
When I choose 'Firmware Upgrade' for flashing, the message that I get is "Failed to get PMT info." (screenshot below).
Format All + Download
When I choose 'Format All + Download' for flashing, the error that I get is "ERROR: STATUS_SEC_WRITE_DATA_NOT_ALLOWED (0xC002000C)" (screenshot below).
What I Have Tried
Apart from the above mentioned things, I have also tried the following:
'i-x_flash_tool' (included within the ROM zip; it is made for TB-4304I and TB-4304X versions)
Results in BROM Error: BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL
Flash Tool from http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/13243959-post13.html
Same Errors
Flashing without preloader (leaving preloader unchecked)
Results in ERROR: STATUS_SEC_DL_FORBIDDEN (0xC0020004)
Connecting the USB with Volume Up/Down/Both buttons pressed before flashing
Results in BROM Error: BROM_CMD_FAIL
All kinds of Download Agents within the zip:
DA_PL.bin (TB-7304F version)
DA_PL.bin (TB-7304I/X version)
DA_PL_CRYPTO20.bin (TB-7304I/X version)
DA_SWSEC.bin (TB-7304I/X version) - INCOMPATIBLE
DA_SWSEC_CRYPTO20.bin (TB-7304I/X version) - INCOMPATIBLE
MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin - INCOMPATIBLE
Additional Info.
Full Model Name: TB-7304F TAB 1G+8GBL-IN-Ons-NM
CPU: MT8167D 64-Bit
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Bump.
It's been a while, but I haven't found a solution yet... Can someone please give me some suggestions? Thank you.

you mentioned you lost IMEI - does your device have slot for SIM card? In the link you provided there is another chipset for the 3G version: MT8735D
The ROM used is for the WiFi version: MT8167D (your screenshot says Flash-tool_for_WLAN_no_sim_device) I hope this is all well..
Please double check which chipset you have!
Have had the idea of formatting the FRP partition, therefore i wanted to look inside the scatter file. Now i read that this is already posted in the instructions. Have you done this?
Only for MT8167D
- Main SPFT Window - Go to "Format" tab, select "Validation", "Manual format flash",
copy/paste marked in red "Begin address" : 0x8000000 , "Format length" : 0x100000

No, my device does not have a SIM card slot. It is the Wi-Fi version, MT8167D, as is printed on the device's box. I must have mentioned IMEI accidentally.
Yes, I have already tried formatting the FRP partition (quite a few times now). Please note that formatting works fine with the DA_PL.bin meant for MT8167D. Mem-testing works fine too. It's just the flashing which is causing problems...
...which leads me to wonder whether there is some kind of write protection somewhere which is forbidding SPFT from flashing ...?
Unfortunately, this is the only time I forgot to take a read-back of the device before flashing, and the only time I messed everything up.
But fortunately, I have a friend with the exact same device, so I'll be able get a read-back from him. I'll try to contact him right away.
Also, since I have formatted the entire flash (except bootloader), it is very likely that the partition info. is lost, and I'll need to do a Format All + Download, which, as I've mentioned, gives me "ERROR: STATUS_SEC_WRITE_DATA_NOT_ALLOWED (0xC002000C)".
It may useful to get dump from your friend, but main reason i asked, i want to look into your current boot / recovery to see why it does not work. Can you flash each partition for each own, maybe it is only forbidden for one/some partitions (for example just flash boot, or just cache, ...)
Assuming your friends device have unlocked bootloader, if it is possible to flash preloader at least you should be able to boot twrp from fastboot. then you have a good base for recovering. Also interesting would be a read back of nvdata/nvram even if it was recently formatted, maybe we can restore the file system from raw image with testdisk or something (at least mac address should be still there somewhere)
partitions may deleted, but you still have the addresses where the partitions was, the scatter file defines the partition all we need is restore EBR

Read-back seems to work fine. Just did a read-back of the preloader partition (0x0 to 0x40000 according to scatter).
[Deleted duplicate reply]
according to the gsm forum you need a combination of FIRMWARE UPGRADE + PRELOADER.bin + DA_SWSEC.bin + auth_sv5.auth and flash only preloader - imagine you already tried that, too? Regarding your NVRAM can you please share scatter file, i was not able to download the ROM. I wanna have a look into and then request readback from you
meanwhile found a mirror: https://firmwareos.com/download-lenovo-tab-7-essential-tb-7304f-firmware
and TWRP: https://gitlab.com/HosteBin/androidlover5842_1/tree/master/Lenovo/lenovotb_7304f
edit: what you have readed back is not the preloader (the preloader is not located EMMC_USER) just want to inform you in case you wanted to use this file (better delete it). if you want read back preloader repeat this for EMMC_BOOT_1
edit2: use this scatter file and do a read-back of:
nvram
boot
recovery
frp
metadata
(and provide a link via pm or post here)
Sorry, but somehow the system isn't allowing me to quote your message... Hope this will make sense without the quotes.
Already tried that. DA_SWSEC.bin gives me DA_SELECTION_ERR; it isn't compatible.
Thanks a lot for the TWRP link!
Yeah, my mistake... Actually, I did do a read-back on EMMC_BOOT_1, but forgot to take a screenshot. So, I decided to do another read-back just for the screenshot. The second time, I must have rushed through the process and forgot to select the right data area.
I'll send you the link in a while.

But you don't really need to sign up to download. You can directly download, even without an account on the service, I believe. Still, I'll upload it somewhere else, and edit this post with the link.

downloaded with another PC. have had a look inside, all files are empty - seems your phone is completely ERASED by written Zeros.
i think you can not flash anything because of MTK Secure Boot. You should focus on how to unlock secro. (i found some other post where somebody mentioned you must remove battery for 10 minutes, but i think this is nonsense). unfortunately i didn't find a Tutorial, but someone on XDA mentioned this
https://blog.csdn.net/ouxie/article/details/48290077
from google translate, and my tiny less understanding, SEC_RO is always flashable (with device specific Secure Boot DA). i believe you don't have secro.img anymore, so best is to get a full dump of a working device. look inside scatter file, there you can change is_download: true or maybe playing around with type: NORMAL_ROM
besides this (i don't think this really matters) you can create your own scatter file based direct on working device, then you have a 100% complete scatter file (you can compare for differences, at least). here is the instructions: WwR MTK v2.30
i know this does not really help, but in case you figured out how to unlock secro and made it flashable again, you have a good base of fileset to start (pgpt sgpt nvram lk secro seccfg ...)
here's a bit more technical information for understanding preloader, there is mentioned a "ADVMETA_BOOT" boot mode (from what i believe you can write NVRAM, but guess this is already handled internal by SP Flash Tool itself)

at least, you need to flash lk.bin as minimum requirement to get fastboot working

Ane-Lx3 update emui 9 [half resolved]

Hi, does anyone know how I can flash the base, curt and preload of the p20 lite ane-lx3?
I got them with hisuite proxy but they give me an error when verifying update.
I need it because I can only go back to emui 8 from hi suite emui 9 does not appear, I had downloaded it to unlock the bootloader. I already unlocked them but I want to go back to the most updated emui or at least more than 9.1.0.142 since it still has the app drawer button.
I have seen that the multi tool 8 can be used to flash but I don't understand how to do it.

this can be done via modified TWRP, HuRupdater 0.4 or Multi-tool if you are running EMUI 9.1.
But these methods are risky when upgrading from 8.0 to 9.1 and are not recommended.
You can safely manually upgrade to 9.1 only by installing the service ROM using the dload method from the SD card.
What is your full build number? (settings > About phone).
Also check your vendor/country information via the Project Menu (*#*#2846579#*#*) and post the result.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, here I leave what you asked for. I would appreciate it if you could explain a little more how to do the process.

I thought you were currently on 8.0, sorry. So you can try the methods in my previous post.
For HuRupdater method use TWRP 3.2.1 "Gaguga edition".
Rename all three archives:
base -> update.zip
preload -> update_data_public.zip
cust -> update_all_hw.zip
It works on the P20 Pro, it should also work on the P20 Lite. Be aware that these methods are risky, especially when it comes to choosing the right firmware for your phone!
Personally, I prefer an update via eRecovery & wi-fi, or installing a service ROM via dload.
You can download Service ROM for your phone
Here
The dload process will erase all your data and lock your BL again!

Good brief update: I tried all the stock roms of ane-l23 all with the same result in the case of emui 9 it stays at 9.1.0.046 and in emui 8 8.0.0.046 so far everything is fine after reading several forums here I have found one to see the files with root everything is fine up to here I enter /cust/hw and find two folders (la or latam) and normal. and in special cust only after all the props are fine, that is, it is 5.0.0.20.
Then looking for more information to see where the 8.0.0.046 was, I found it in version.prop. Additionally, enter splash2/cust.log and throw a lot of errors in the following post or answer. I leave you the images to see if we can solve something because the problem that bothers me is not being in emui 8 or 9 but that it is not so stable all that works if when installing any firm again the huawei id does not work first playstore and update hsm core after that everything works either themes etc etc.
but it lags a lot in emui 8 and in emui 9 google maps doesn't work so I don't care if I stay in emui 8 or 9 honestly but I do want the equipment to work correctly. Thank you very much for your willingness and willingness to help.

Maybe you are doing something wrong...Follow instructions in ReleaseDoc folder.

you can only install the service ROM for your region (hw/la)!
But it is possible that with your current build number 9.1.0.046 you will not be able to flash via dload or eRecovery.

Yes I understand that, but what I wanted to say is that I already tried all the c605 firmware that there is, whether it is emui 8 and emui 9, they all install without error but apparently they do not install at all, I don't know if it is cust the oem partition or something like that but whatever the method, it always ends in .046 the only thing I know for sure is that it started to be like that a year ago when I used hisuite to go back and from there I could no longer update after what happened with hisuite I bought the code in dc to unlock the bootloader but I still can't remove the .046 in a few words hisuite screwed my phone xD because it was never rooted or unlocked until after what I told you
Okay, I don't know what the problem is, two last tips from me:
A) follow this method
https://ministryofsolutions.com/202...re-stock-rom-emui9-1-unlocked-bootloader.html
(reliable source)
B) rebrand to global version C432. But this requires downgrading to Oreo, and this is only possible through HiSuite (because there are no files needed for HuRupdater). It could help to get a fully working phone.
It could happen that before using hisuite you had a different region, not hw/la (claro/la etc.) hisuite couldn't recognize it and downgraded your phone to hw/la. Maybe you should try flashing oeminfo C605.
In fastboot mode run commands :
fastboot getvar vendorcountry
fastboot oem oeminforead-CUSTOM_VERSION
fastboot oem oeminforead-SYSTEM_VERSION
and post the result.
If you decide to rebrand, I will give you instructions.

If that helps me, ok, I tried option a) it was installed but it is incomplete with the pink background. If doing a rebrand will help me, ok

Now try to flash Service ROM.
Also try enter eRecovery and use option "Download latest version...".
As for rebrand, I can't give you any guarantee.

I think I achieved it in a while I'll tell you what happened but I'm hopeful something changed with the hisuite proxy
Ok, let me tell you, I managed to install firmware 9.1.0.355. I know it's not the latest and it didn't free me from system component 9.1.0.040 either, but at least now everything works correctly.
I'll tell you what I did in case it helps someone else:
1- I did the point a) that you sent me
2- I kept the pink wallpaper and I went to the proxy hisuite and downloaded the cust, preload and base .355
3- it marked an error when installing in the 1% of hisuite the proxy already warned me that it was going to fail and to cancel
4- cancel it and deactivate the 3 checks of point, cust and preload
5-I put in developer mode and look for the update in hisuite
6- This time I no longer throw any errors and it was completely flashed. I imagine that because of step a) the cust was updated and that is why it allowed the .355 to be installed
7-it was still half incomplete but I went into settings and updated and I got the same .355 version and it was installed correctly in quotes as I said I still have the .40 system but everything works now I imagine that if you keep messing around a bit that way it will I could install the .390 but I'm satisfied with the .355
