TS does not power on after connecting to PC - Ornate TrueSmart

Hi,
I installed the files - All Tools (14-2-15).zip on my Win7 pc.
I unzipped the files and ran installer and connected the watch to the pc per the instructions given.
The pc installed the drivers and the watch was working fine.
I took the watch out of the cradle and the watch showed that it was in Safe Mode. I turned off the watch and now it will not turn back on at all.
I have kept it in the cradle to charge for a few hours now, but still nothing.
The pc will sometimes acknowledge the the watch when I plug it into the usb and show it as a drive for it.
Any ideas on how to get the watch to turn back on? I really do not want to remove the battery yet - just got the watch yesterday.
Thanks -Dave

[Q]Computer not detecting phone MTP nor Mass Storage.

I have a really weird problem. My computer won't recognize my SGS2 is connected to the computer at all. Meaning no notification sound, no device change in device manager, nor any prompt to install a new driver. I've tried in both MTP and Mass Storage. What's even weirder is that it detects the phone in Odin mode and even installs the correct drivers. I've tried just about everything I could think of, such as the following:
-Cleaning the microUSB port with alcohol & new tooth brush
-lifting the microUSB connector slightly
-Using a toothpick to try to pick out any residue in mUSB port.
-Connecting while TWLaucher is set as default
-Using Wireless & Network setting > USB utilities.
-Taking out the sim card and external microSD card and booting & rebooting it.
-Restoring the stock Firmware
-Different wires, including an untouched mUSB wire that came with the phone.
-Different computer that doesn't have Kies or the said drivers installed. (Still didn't make a notification sound or bring up the "new device" prompt)
I just want to make sure I tried everything possible before sending it in for repairs.
EDIT: Oh forgot to mention that I had other problems before getting to this one. About a week ago Car mode would always activate by itself constantly. Even during use. Also the phone would refuse to stay turned off. After booting down, the phone would turn off. However, after some random amount of time, the phone would turn on by itself. During that time, connecting the USB wouldn't keep charging the phone. The phone would go between connected and disconnected randomly. Sometime off and on multiple times with in seconds. Other times would charge for hours and randomly stop charging. I've gotten the phone to charge whenever its connected now by cleaning the port, but the computer still can't recognize it as a device. Also the screen will randomly turn on, plugged in or not, and I have to manually turn it off again. However, if I turn it off right away it seems to lock up. So I have to unlock the phone the press the power button again to lock and turn off the screen. Don't know if this information helps.

Try another usb port, sometimes that helps or reinstall the usb drivers in Kies
Ignore, hadn't read all he'd tried.
Bump: Additional information.
Same problem here
I have exactly the same problem!!
My thought is that the USB connector get wet and stopped working properly. As fas as i know, USB connector is composed by 3 cables, one for charging, one for data transfer and another one to detect Car Dock.
It seems that Odin is using Car Dock cable (?¿?¿) instead of Data, so you can use Odin and not Data.
Also that would explain why car mode just kicks in by itself (short circuit between car cable and probably power cable).
I will also sent it to a SAT, since i tried everything via software....
I have the same problem. Try plugging into a mates laptop, see if it works on their one.
I have created a thread on this, check it out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1642998
Really don't understand this!
Mine is showing up sometimes.. :s little hit and miss

follow the instructions to get the latest revision of google drivers:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html
Thanks I went there and d/l the SDK but it says I need more, do you have just the driver file or link.. thank you so much
I even installed Asus Sync per Asus and it still dont see the device
Mine installed fine. You don't have to do anything on the tablet like you do with the phone. It just installed the drivers and showed up under my computer.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Mine shows up as a media player, and allows me to drag/drop stuff to it. But it does not have a drive letter, which can be a problem with few things.
I am going nuts here. Asus sync is installed but not working. Although the Prime goes automatically to USB debugging mode and I see it on the win explorer, and transfer files, the Asus Sync utility tells me that there were no connection, and Prime cannot find Asus Sync on my PC.
Check your cable connector. When I first received mine and plugged it in (no drivers/software were necessary) it showed up right away as a portable storage device. When I went to unplug it, the plastic hosing came off. There was noticeable damage so I just put it back on, however, after that Prime connecting to the PC was a hit and miss. Plugging it in and unplugging, sometimes it would be seen sometimes it wouldn't. Asys sync never recognized the device successfully, period.

[Q] Phone Won't Connect to PC / Charge Icon

Hi guys. So a few days ago, my phone stopped connecting to my pc. It will beep on the computer and say it's unrecognized, and the phone itself does nothing. No usb connected, no battery charging. It does actually charge, just doesn't show it in lockscreen or the desktop icon. When I go into the battery under settings, it does say charging.
I have:
1. Used 5 different cables.
2. 3 different computers
3. Resintalled drivers.
4. This started out of nowhere on MIUI (2.3)(just had the phone connected a couple of days prior with no problems). Flashed ICS EX rom, ICS CM9 and ICS Slim...same thing on all...
5. Tried mount USB storage under CWM
The phone does not respond.
Any Ideas?
This may be a long shot, as you've done all the normal trouble-shooting I would have done. However, you didn't mention if the phone was set into USB Debugging or not? I know when I've had my phone set into that mode before my PC wouldn't properly recognize or transfer files back and forth.
If you didn't know, it's under the 'settings' menu and look for something related to Developer options. Enable it if it's disabled, or disable it if it's enabled. My phone has acted wonky a couple times with transferring files and I've had to play with that setting on more than 1 occasion. Hopefully that helps.

If you use the regular charger, does it work (for charging)?
If so, you might have the usb port in your phone broken, just for the data transfer...

[Q] Charging only when turned off, 4.1.1.

Hi, everyone. I've seen the other threads and no one had a problem quite like mine.
Yesterday I've upgraded my Alcatel OT-997, ICS 4.0.4. with Kuano's TWRP and now it's:
Alcatel OT-997D, JB 4.1.1. - (details in this thread, 5th post) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1981692&page=89
D means I can now use two SIM cards, which is cool.
The problem is the damn thing doesn't charge when it's turned on. It shows the lightning bolt over the battery icon, but in settings shows that charger is not connected. However, when it's turned off it charges, normally. I tried different settings in USB menu: Mass storage, MTP, Camera mode and Charge. Tried with and without Debugging mode. All of those work when connected to a computer in the sense that I can use internal storage, access both SD cards, and so on. But it doesn't charge.
I have tried 3 different cables, 3 wall outlets, and 2 PCs so it's not that. I suppose it's not a hardware problem otherwise it wouldn't charge properly when it's turned off.
So now I use schedule to turn it off before I go to sleep, and to turn on before I wake up, so it would charge while I'm sleeping. Anyone's got any ideas how to fix it?
Bump
Well I solved it with reinstall
Finally I've lost my patience so I tried the only thing that was left.
First I did a backup with TWRP.
Then, factory reset from TWRP.
Then, restore system from One Touch Upgrade 2.8.0 - lost the DUAL capability, software restored to 4.0.4.
Now comes the interesting part. It had the same problem as before, did not charge while on. So I tried a solution I found online a while ago but I never tried when on 4.1.1: Turn it off, connect charger, remove battery, wait a bit, press power button for approx 10 sec (nothing hapens), wait a bit, instert battery, turn it on and there it is. I'm not sure if it was this procedure that did the trick or it simply needed a reboot after update but it worked. It showed "charging" in battery stats.
Finally, restore with TWRP as Kuano explained in his post. Mind you, when I did the restore it was connected to my PC all the time.
Now two things I you should know:
First, before I did all this I connected it to my PC while turned off i.e. (PC - ON, phone - OFF). I noticed this: it was constantly connecting and disconnecting (the "piano chord" notification was coming from the computer speakers every 5 sec) like I was pulling the cable in and out. That is all I know about this, I didn't have the nerves to work on it.
Second, now that it is restored and charging, when I connected it to PC it couldn't change USB setting from Charge to MTP. It reported an error something like "service stopped". This happened only once and I did not try to do it again, I just don't have the energy for any more problem fixing right now. It charges, and I use airdroid for file transfer, that is all I need for now. If and when I get around to take a look at it I'll post here if there's something interesting.

Help, usb not working

My lg g5 ls992 is not recognized by a computer when i plug it in. If I do something to make windows refresh the driver it shows usb device not recognized for a short time. Windows makes the connected sound and within 30 seconds makes the disconnected sound while it is still plugged in. My wife has the same phone and her works fine. I have tried everything, reinstall drivers, usb debugging, usb mode, factory reset. I even tried swapping the bottom module. Nothing is working.
Hi there, did you manage to get anywhere at last?
Cheers.
