[Q] Zooper Widget pro in Themer not working - Themer General Discussion

I'm using themer with my Nexus 5 and, when making thing within the "zooper themer" no problem.
When I try to add anything with Zooper Pro and save it, once i recall from the Themer browser the widget made with Zooper Pro are gone. I mean, they are there but blank.
May be I'm doing something wrong.
Any suggestons? Thx

Hi,
It's better to stick to using Themer Zooper widget when you want to reload a saved theme, as it's designed to reload correctly.
Is this what you mean?

So I have to assume that, if I want to design something in Themer, save it and later reload it, I have to use exclusively the Themer Zooper widget?
Indeed I tried with Zooper widget Pro as well as UCCW and the result is the same: once I reload my theme previously saved these widgets are reloaded blanks.
If so, this is a limit since there are a lot of nice widgets for ZW Pro and cannot be used with Themer (that is more simple and flexible vs other launchers IMHO).

Hi,
You saving the themes correctly right? As in going into the advanced settings - Export Theme. Sometimes a Zooper Widget Pro template will work, but essentially only Themer's built-in widgets will remain and function correctly (Themer RSS, Themer Dialer, Everything Widget, Themer Zooper Widget, etc.).
The good part is the Themer Zooper Widget and Zooper Widget Pro share the same template directory. This means if you save a theme in ZW Pro, even if you save a theme that comes from from the Play Store, it will show up in Themer Zooper's saved templates

Thx for the reply. You are right. It seems working perfeclty w built-in widgets only. The themes are saved correctly.
As far as the good part concerns: yes, they share the same directory but, you cant load a ZWP in Themer. Despite the composition of the widget has the same structure(text, bitmaps and so on) for same reason they dont load correctly. The same behaviour applies to UCCW.
I'll wait for a Themer w a ZWPro extension...

good

[Q] Copy a widget to another theme?

Unfortunately, my current favorite Themer theme does not include a music player widget. Can I grab one from another theme that does have one and copy/save it to my current theme?
Edit: To be specific: I am using the Red Clock theme. What I want is the entire "Media" screen from the Holo Cards theme. Is this possible?

Unfortunately not, you are able to save an Everything Widget, but it is locked into its specific theme (we might change this in the future once Zooper is integrated). It shouldn't take too long to recreate in Everything Widget though. Try out Jeppe Foldagers Small Darks for icons, he might also have that blue one.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Hi Themer Support Team,
Now ZOOPER being fully integrated into Themer, is this feature of copying a Everything Widget from one theme to another provided?
Thanks.

Unfortunately not yet. You can transfer Zooper Widgets however, but EW is still very young and the developers are still working on features like this

Resize icons

Hello, is there a way to resize icons in homescreen? My icons are very small.
I also can't find the actions menu in zooper widget. I want to create a widget and put a image that opens my app drawer for example.
Found the themer actions in zooper. It's not appearing in Zooper Pro.
Thanks and sorry for my english.

Do you like Zooper better than UCCW? I haven't used Zooper before so I'm curious how different it could be from UCCW.

Hi,
Themer Actions will only work in the Themer Zooper Widget, not Zooper Pro. Also, icon resizing will soon arrive in the upcoming updates

I think Zooper more dificult to use, but this happens because there's a lot of more options.

Hi, we've created a few videos to help users get accustomed to Zooper Widget, these should help:

Themer Zooper NEW widgets.

I have been a zooper widget fan for awhile now but been frustrated by the lack of available widgets out there. Well themer has provided me with a wealth of skins and widgets now and just like the spaceship on independence day, everything has just come alive.
Let me elaborate. For those that are new to zooper, it's a widget customization tool. You can pretty much make anything you like. It's best to start with a template and then move on. But templates are limited.
Themer is a launcher that encompasses zooper themes. Eacher themer theme is basically a unique launcher.
What i have been able to do is this: long press on any theme in themer and click ADVANCED then ULOCK widget. This frees you to then long press and configure it. You can then use the Zooper (within themer) to save your widget/theme/launcher settings. Then go back to your launcher (TW/ADW/NOVA), fire up a zooper widget and open the layout from your SD card for the theme you saved in themer. Now you have the same fun screens of themer, but with the flexibility of it being a screen.
With this, I have pulled out calendar widgets and placed them within my normal screen (keeping the ADW interface), pulled out music widgets to place beautifully on parts of the screen never intended, and more.

You'll have to read and learn that's the best solution imho. It seems that this snapshot is a mix of UCCW + Zooper Widget + an icon pack. Bunchs of tutorials & templates are available on XDA for UCCW and Zooper.

The launcher is likely Nova or Apex and there is an icon pack applied however it would be nearly impossible to tell you which icon pack it is without asking the phone's owner or scouring the Playstore or XDA or elsewhere for hours and hours.
That vertical calendar widget is defintely from Zooper Widget. You can download the app for free in the Playstore. The vertical calendar comes with it and it is called UpCalendar. Once Zooper is installed add a 2x4 widget to your screen and choose that UpCalendar widget
That clock widget may be Zooper as well but I agree with Primokorn that it may be UCCW. You'll have to search for it. Another option for a clock is to use the Playstore App called Zooper Widget Gallery. It will show you a lot of other clocks that are really nice as well.
Also, there is a really cool website called My Color Screen that has beautiful home screens and phone themes and they have step by step tutorials telling you exactly what to download and how to configure the widgets, icon packs, launchers, etc. I highly recommend checking the site out and trying out some of the themes so you can get an idea of how to customize your phone and make it look pretty :silly:

Variables problem in zw Themer

Hi all,
I got some problems in zw Themer with variables i've created in my zooper pro before.
Is there any difference between the two?
Variables worked like a charm in zooper pro for a theme, but i want to create a Themer file for it,
Then i did the choice to use zw Themer instead of pro version, to get all the themer shortcuts options,
but i lost some functionalities i created before, as hide/show icons/fonts depending of the status etc...
Any ideas?
Thx in advance
Cheers

Hi,
Could you be more specific with what functionality was lost? The only difference is that song progress modules in Media Utilities for Themer Zooper Widget hasn't been implemented yet.
Hi,
Yeah sure, i use this variable in my zooper pro to change icon colour when I get new notifications, for example:
Code:
$#susms##smcalls##SUG#>0?[c] #ffd0bf1d [/c]$
The icon/font is white and then turns to green with new calls/sms/mails.
And this doesn't work anymore in zw themer when i import my saved template.
The colour of the icon stays in colour of the code above.
Hope you understand

Try this:
Code:
[c]$#susms##smcalls##SUG#>0?#ffd0bf1d$[/c]
(with the c parameters outside)
Ok thx you, much appreciated, will try this ASAP.
