If you flashed ur divice to Ics right now u already have root accsess, try checking out ur apps I bet u find a SuperUser, and if u do everything's fine
:good:
I was using the overcome rom before i flashed the new ICS using odin
It seems to have removed root from the tab as i tried a few programs like a terminal emulator with the su command and it does not work so looks like I need to root again.
Old method works

Such is possible using "adb install path/to/*.apk" without the quotes.

Hi, i updated from 5.0.2 to 6.0.1 with Samsung smart switch. My question is: can I root with cf autorrot via Odin (AP) directly without flashing bootloader?
Enviado desde mi SM-G925F mediante Tapatalk

Thanks, but I can't find the cf autorrot file for XXU3DPAD

It is only the build from which chainfire extracted the recovery file to create his autoroot one.
It's always a 6.0.1 recovery, so it doesn't matter
It will work with your firmware.
Thanks guys I did it and it works perfectly!

to root or not to root the x6 edge
just flash via odin the following kernel
SpaceX-Kernel_MM_RC2.1_G925F.tar
and you're rooted, you can flash via twrp if you feel like like it - the kernel is already rooted
BETA-SuperSU-v2.68-20160228150503
people search for the easiest which turns out to be the complicated
and if you have a hard time with twrp flash this one via odin
arter97-recovery-g925fi-12.0-twrp_3.0.0-0.tar
and don't look back

Magisk

Hey, has anyone tried using Magisk on our beloved Honor 7? I want to try and I want to know the experiences of other users. Thanks.

To my knowledge, H7 doesn't work with systemless root. This was already explored previously as other users also wanted root without custom recovery. I can't recall the thread.
Thanks for your answer. I've already installed Magisk with its respective systemless Xposed and with Phh root. IT'S working nice so far.

Great it worked, but did you had to root the phone first to install xposed?
Well, I did it. In the WBT+Kang 2.1 I've left the steps I used. It's in one of the last pages.
