Hi!
thank before anything! I think a great rom!
but I have a big problem ..... I spent many many many battery
I just hard drums 1 hour active screen ..

Can anyone confirm ram is more than 369 mb ? I am used to having 380 mb of ram on Carbon. And is the pie from PA or Slim ? Average battery life ? Performance ? I want to make sure everything before I switch roms in order to not be dissappointed.
EDIT : Can I use other GApps than the ones provided in the OP ? I prefer 15 MB or even lesser GApps like YourZgapps.

20120625v1.5
Hybrid speedup, less lag, considerably faster list scrolling when pad/pal is in action
Keyboard scaling, an androids first
PAD/PAL bugfixes for apps that still crop images in lower dpis
Settings revamp, speed preferences to switch between modes without having to set up anything, less clutter
Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you
Pad.prop revamp, new preferences that should pretty much nail it. Im sorry but this trashes your old settings again, do not attempt to restore them unless you do it in a text editor
A warning: if you need to scale keyboards, do close their hosts first (that is, if you have the keyboard running in chrome, close chrome, then attempt to change the size). Otherwise you run into caching problems. Also not that some keyboards use fixed layouts and others dont. Should one of your keyboards not scale, just leave it at PhoneUI/DPI and be happy about those that do scale.
Great news man. I loved the Rom on s2

Yes, Every vanilla project, not pure AOSP Android, is branched out from CM9.
Be it AOKP, Paranoid, or any great team or individual ROMs.
CM9 bugs is gonna be present in every one of them, until CM team clears it out themselves.
Its gonna be soon, don't worry
This rom is awesome! Thanks

If you keep this project with every last night cm ,this rom will rock this thread.
Now little bugs present on cm.
So 1.5a on 29.06.2012 or 20120701-EXPERIMENTAL-i9300-CODEWORKX which one?
Thank you and congratulations

CM9 Nightly 29.06.2012 for now.
I'll keep watch on the Experimental builds.
Will base on them if they're gonna be worth it.

i love this rom and
i love you man......
great to see this rom alive again. thx,man... does provided link work for u guys?
Thanks gokussjx & swapnilraj for continuing the work of d4rk.
I used this rom as a daily basis on my SII (now uses my wife ) and used PA1.4 for a little time on my SIII.
Lately I tried a lot of roms for SIII out there but now I feel to switch back to paranoid Android, because without any doubt it's the freshest and cooler rom around.
So, many many thanks in advance
Have Fun(k),

General Rule: This whole thread is gonna be like a big team.

For starters: Any issues, Attach a logcat! I can't help you without knowing what's wrong. (http://www.xda-developers.com/android/help-your-developers-pull-a-logcat-when-issues-arise/)

Then flash the ROM.
Speaker is working beautifully here. Can't comment on BT headset, I don't own one.
Paste your logcat anyway.

That's easily adjustable.
By default, I've set the Global DPI to 240.
You can change DPI of every app, (Per-App-Density).
Just go here: Settings -> Paranoid Settings -> List of Apps -> Nova Launcher (Search it) ->
Let the Phone UI be as it is.
Click on the Custom DPI, & select STOCK Phone DPI. (Or set custom DPI, & set it to 320).
Click on Apply (Top right corner).
Ok -> Ok
You're done!
You can tweak DPI of any & every app using that menu.

this looks awesome gonna try it right now
Flashing now, I was on RC3 and loving it. Is there an RC4 and RC5 Changelog somewhere? I also like the gapps you provided with the working google wallet. Very nice.
Also can I flash this with just a cache and dalvik cache wipe? Or is a full wipe required?
problem with the icons they are kinda going on top of the nav bar on the bottom, they are overlapping, icons are too big
Ehm, 2.0 original 2.5? Link says 2.0!!
Edit: sorry, too early for me maybe

I flashed the latest and it works a treat. i do suggest you to install the franco app from the play store for easy updates/flashing.
Using liquid on my S3 and now my N7 will get some Liquid love
Thanks!!!
Smoooooth...
Just came from Paranoid Android 2.2 - this ROM is at least as smooth without all of the (at least to me) unecessary frills (not interested in tablet mode). I have had absolutely no issues since flashing. Hope the battery life is as good - PA battery life is excellent.
Congrats and thanks to the whole Liquid Team

Here it is waiting for feedback
http://d-h.st/aJ9
Just a few things strike me right off the bat..
Seems to be a common thing with 4.4.2 ROMS, but themes aren't quite applying properly.
'Dark' settings in the sms messaging app doesn't work - this app stays white no matter what.
Contacts & dialer app remain white irrespective of whatever dark theme is applied.
The 'inverted' stock theme doesn't fully invert everything - white menus still pop up and it really clashes with the overall look. See pic attached.
P.S. Can the inverted stock theme be like other ROMS - i.e. it's activated by a button in the main 'settings' menu? The reason I ask is because it's better when one can activate a 'dark' button and THEN apply a dark theme on top of that - the overall 'dark' effect usually ends up being more complete.
Please provide me About phone screenshot
Any more feedback

There's a screenshot in my last post, check it out. The ROM seemed to work fine even though I didn't stick with it for long. Themes not applying properly seem to be a recurring bug with 4.4.2 ROMS so I went back to my previous ROM - for now.
Ray become official now nightlies will come
enjoy
Have the theme issues been fixed in this new version? If not, are you planning to fix them?

give last nightly try then feedback as i'm using it in my anzu no any bugs
Look further back on the thread - I used the version posted on the 23rd and had problems with the themes (seems to be a common thing with 4.4.2 ROMS). I also posted a screenshot.

Has anything re. themes been fixed since the 23rd?

Really support art mate? Cos your previous rom not support art yet..
Sent from my Xperia P using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
@3andala does it support exFat?
Just tried the most recent nightly - the theming problems still exist as per my previous post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51321891&postcount=5
P.S. Like I said before - can the inverted stock theme be like other ROMS - i.e. it's activated by a button in the main 'settings' menu? It's more effective when one can activate a 'dark' button and THEN apply a dark theme on top of that - the overall 'dark' effect usually ends up being more complete.

I don't have that bug.

ART is working fine and everything is fast, but only problem is small internal memory when ART is enabled.
After enabled ART just reboot twice, because with one reboot dialer don't want to open.

1) Make sure you have root and TWRP custom recovery installed. Also make sure you're not on stock 4.4.4. If you're on stock, then follow these instructions(replace the CM12 ROM with the ROM download link given below to flash CarbonROM)(If you're following these instructions, then no need to follow steps 2,3,4 etc. as they all are the same)
CM11 zip: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/90775/cm-11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-ghost.zip
2) Download CarbonROM zip and GApps zip of your choice(5.1.x only!)
3) Reboot to recovery and take a backup of your current ROM.
4) Flash CarbonROM zip and successively the GApps zip package.
5) Wipe cache/dalvik cache x2 times.
6) Reboot phone and voila! Carbon is ready to rock.
Instructions for xt1052 users:
If you're unable to flash the carbon rom zip due to an updater-script error, then follow these instructions(you can view the zip's contents on your phone or on your computer):
1) Open/view the zip package using WinZip, Root explorer or any other computer/phone zip software(open it, don't unzip it!)
2) Go to META-INF/com/google/android. You will see a file named 'updater-script'. Open it with notepad++(or any editor of your choice), and delete the starting lines, so the first line looks like this:
Code:
ifelse(is_mounted("/system"), unmount("/system"));
3) Save the file in the zip and then flash the ROM zip and GApps zip packages. It will flash properly this time.
4) Now reboot your phone and voila! Carbon is ready to rock!

Curious about this, I have always heard this was an awesome ROM but haven't seen it for the N6. I've been watching and have to say this seems to have popped up out of the clear blue - was not expecting Carbon, official or unofficial, anytime soon for this device. Anyway, I looked through github and saw OmniSwitch in there, but no mention of it in the features list. Does this first build have a working OmniSwitch by chance or did that not quite make its way in there? Everything else I could possibly want to know appears to be in the features list.

Nah, no omniswitch yet, will be added soon. Team Carbon are backporting all the features from previous releases, so it'll take some time.
