Dark HTC boot screen? - HTC Droid DNA

Well, I was just wondering if there was a way to change the color of the HTC boot screen (not the animation, can't think of the name for the screen atm). The white kills my eyes at night lol. Thought I saw something about it somewhere.. Thanks!

No worries there is a lot to read and look through, good luck

There is an app for the PC to safely make your own splash screen. I made mine a pic. Of my daughter with text saying "Team Jellybean" (inside joke).
I forgot where I found it, but it was on XDA and works for our device.

If you place an app on top of another, it'll create a folder that resembles iOS in a way.

Love it. Two folders on my home page are media and social.
Edit: didn't realize u could do that with the actual launcher. Just assumed it was for the pages.

Yup - its got a few little differences though - like the app menu icon on the right hand side which you dont seem to be able to move.
obviously other alternatives are apex/nova etc.

Google now...

In case you didn't know, Google Now is available for root users. We are running ARM v7 processors, so follow those instructions.

It's been available for a little while, but now it's almost fully working, just a few bugs here and there from using it, But it works pretty consistently with voice and everything. Love it.
Flashed it last night and has been working great. ^_^
Only issue I've seen was the ones they listed where I can't use the back button but doesn't affect functionality at all

Flashed it last night as well. Seems to work almost perfectly http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Flashed and get an "unfortunately Google search has stopped" message :[

Hmmm does voice search work on any of these?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Didn't think I'd like it as much as I do but particularly the improved voice search function is pretty sweet. It's nice to be able to give the phone more natural commands and have it pick up on it. It also doesn't seem as impaired by rushed pronunciation as 4.0 and below.

No matter what I say, when I tap the mic or hold down search and it auto mics, if i say anything it always does web search. Never commands for anything. Cant create new calendar entry, cant text, etc.

Oh man, just came across this screenie on my SDCard, wish I had screens of the whole setup. This was one my favs I made when I spent all my time theming...
It actually had 3-4 screens and the dock and grey area continued from one screen to the next..
Edit: we already have sticky thread for this..lol, I thought this was that thread oops

Awesome first post and you only waited two years.
It's not impossible; The GS3 got a sense port thanks to all this Google Edition silliness.

Well you can still color me skeptical. A screenshot of a lockscreen could be anything. Especially when you mention what's not working: "everything". I'm not trying to dissuade him from working on it if he indeed is, I'm just not excited about a phone pic of another phone sitting at idle lockscreen. He could have ported the next super computer for all I know.
I will apologize for my skepticism later if it proves unfounded, I promise.

Is the HTC One catching the issues with the sun!!!! We are all going to die!!!
In a serious note, have you tried factory reset? Does any other application show this graphic problem around this area? If your rooted you can find the weather app from stock ROM and replace the faulty one you have.
