I bought an Xperia Z ultra google play edition, but after a few months of owning it I think its just slightly too big for my tastes. :crying: I've had bad experiences with Ebay in the past, I'm not really sure where to sell a device like this. I know of websites like GLYDE that let you sell your cell-phone, but most of them ask what brand you have and Sony isn't even an option. I'm a huge sony fan so I'm probably going to switch to the little brother Z1. Any ideas guys?

I think swappa's the best but also try the "SOLD" app from the Google play store... worth a shot

Nope, I sent it on monday, they received it yesterday (Wednesday) and they'll work on it tomorrow (Friday) according to the girl I talked to on the phone, so I should have it back some time next week. Could be much much worse, but i hope they actually fix it this time

As jumper has already said, the developer support for it is picking up, but additionally, reduced weight, very thin, HD screen, NFC, higher water resistant IP rating - the list kinda goes on...
I love the screen on this bad boy! The biggest concern I had was the battery and after testing it is better than I could get with any previous phone. About the same as the Note 2.
If you are on the fence, jump off and go get one!
Now I have to sell my Xperia Z and my S4 Active lol.
What can you tell us about the screen?i am quite curious about it.

The screen is absolutely beautiful. It is not as bright as the S4 Active or the Z but I am sure they did this to keep the battery life better.
I will upload some pics next to the other phones.

So with same brightness and same wifi/etc on, it's same battery life as Note 2? That's pretty good. I was afraid it'd be 2/3 or half of the note 2 battery life.
Yeah battery was my biggest concern but this baby rocks! No worries now.
Just curious too see where everyone is the using their Z U... I was hesitant to get mine because I felt like I was going to be the only one in Texas... Lol.. but it seems like a lot of us have it.. So far I'm enjoying mine every bit and have no regrets..

I was using an old crappy Nokia as my phone and a 1st gen galaxy 7" tab. Replaced both with the Ultra.
Holy hell this is an amazing phone. Tablet. Phone. Wonder machine.
The screen is better than my Dell XPS 14!

Im Worksop too! I got mine in white unlocked from ecell on Ebay for £500 (its the 3g version though) takes 4 full working days for delivery but very very pleased with the device. Don't need 4g as im getting at 10-20 meg download speeds here in Gateford Worksop, im on Three on the one plan (true unlimited internet)

In gonna wait fora week or two, see what Three do, then make my decision
Using mine in Maryland. Love it! Lots of fun comments on it, and it's fun to put it under water and surprise people.
I used mine for about a week but realized it was too big to use as my daily driver. Using a Moto X now.

Not sure, I won't know if I do until I try it out. Luckily there is a Best Buy with the Samsung experience thing <5 minutes from my work (Elkridge, MD). It does look nicer though from what I have seen.

All I want out of the ZU2 would be better battery, LED Flash on the camera (For flashlight abilities) and an official case that doesn't have a loose stylus holder and make the almost double it's size.
They can keep it's appearance the same, they can leave the screen the same size (Though bigger would be nice, if only up to 6.5"), hell they could even keep the same processor since the difference between the 800 and the 801 they include isn't really big.

Won't happen. Again, why would they joke about a rumor about a niche product that 87 people cares about? Yes, there are 87 Ultra users in the world, so you better feel special. A better prank would be to announce that Sony has sold its mobile devision to those bastards at Lenovo, or that Sony is dropping Android for WindowsPhone.

Yeah, I heard that in Japan the Xperia Z Ultra sold very well.
Unless they have some really neato software in the Z2 Ultra I'll probably wait for the GPE.

Google I/O is in June(?) so i guess we'll get to see Android 4.5/5.0, which the Ultra GPe will get pretty quickly, so.. not sure i'm going to upgrade this year, unless the ZU 2 is crazy gorgeous and has a teleporter of some kind.
The source is way too vague, anyone could have come up with a news like that.
I bet my 6 yo daughter could come up with something even better.
Come on, "allegedly", "this summer", "at some point in 2014", "led flash and 13mpx camera"... anyone could have guessed any of those, this is simply a bad article, that's it.
And BTW, if they *will fit* a led flash, I don't see why they couldn't fit a freaking 20mpx camera as on the Z2.

Totally agree with I won't upgrade my ZU for a snapdragon 801 no way, I'll wait for a device with the new snapdragon 810 or Tegra K1.
