I've bought 2 days ago the Samsung S4 I9500 China Clone & got eMMC clear or erased somehow during setting. Could somebody tell me how to recover this eMMC..??
Now when i turn it ON:
- Boot display is "ANDROID" & All application is in China based screen.
- No "Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500" Boot Screen or Samsung S4 Interface
- My personal application is gone
- I´ve lost Anything in terms of Samsung UI and Menu
Really appreciated a lot for your help on how can i bring it back, i have flash the original BackUp ROM that comes with this phone, but the problem is still there...

in my desperate attempt, i have restore a Galaxy Note 3 recovery image... now the phone it dosen´t even start
i plug in the charger and it does nothing... any ideea how to bring it back to life ?
i also try with SP Flash Tools to flash again the original ROM, but i got Enable DRAM FAIL, because of the Note 3 boot installed in it, at least this is what i think...
I´m Desperate because the phone is for my sister birthday that would be soon... (((

Hello guys,
recently i bought a phone named telsda t3688 from china, i managed to root it and it was working fine
all of sudden yesterday it went in boot loop and needs a software upgradation..
problem is ..there is no software available for this phone .
i searched a lot but no luck
here is twist .. when i connect my phone to mtk droid tools and adb terminal it says connected device gt-i9100 clone..
so i want to know can i flash a gt-i9100 rom on this phone ??? and if yes then how ??
cause i dont have cwm installed ..i have stock recovery i did wipe data cache but no luck..

I may be wrong but as far as I know the only part of your phone that is even similar to a Samsung s2 is the size and shape. The internals will be completely different and as such an s2 ROM won't work.
I had a Chinese tablet that did a similar thing, after trying several key combos at power up, trying to get to some sort of recovery it just booted, maybe pure luck but worth a go. Other than that, assuming you've done a factory reset already, Google my be your only friend. These clones often have "siblings" whose ROMs will work. Good luck.
Its not an S2, so no, software here wont work. Wrong phone, wrong software, wrong thread.

ur sister may be bought a copied phone ,so you can not flash any 9100roms. you can try rest it good luck ~
I know there are custom Roms Floating around for the quad core S4 Clones with a different chipset and Roms for multiple MTK6577 devices with other names and specs but does anyone know if there is a Custom Rom out flashable for the S4 I9500 dual core clone?This phone is painful to try to use.It freezes up constantly and drains battery like crazy.Also I can't get Google contacts to sync which I depend on for my contacts list,apparently there is some other contacts app loaded on this thing and I'm not sure what files control Google contacts otherwise I would just pull them out of one of my Sammy phones.I am rooted,CMW is installed and I fixed GPS(that finally works).As it sits,this phone cannot even be used because of all the problems.If someone has a link to a CMW flashable Rom for this specific phone please link me to it.Thanks

I have already tried to port like 3 different mtk6577 roms including 1 meant specifically for a mtk6577 dual core phone and I got nowhere. I switched out and removed all the files in the guides for these mtk devices and it didn't work.

I know that particularity clone doesnt have the MTK6589 processor but there is an thread out here that are working in many custom rom for the clone, go there an read a lot, because there are a lot info on there, and there are also links to all kind of clones also the original rom from chinese...

I have spent hours combing through that thread and have even tried flashing fluffys rom. I will look more there.There is support for the mtk6589 chipset on many clones but beyond a link to the original factory rom zip for my particular clone(which I downloaded already). I can't find anything anywhere even on needrom. Thanks for the link though and for replying to me.

I think it was needrom.com .There are many roms there but you have to find the ones for hdc mtk6577 i9300 S4 clones dual core processor if you have the same piece of crap phone.You will get no help with this phone.Noone is willing to help with it.Everything you learn you will have to learn from your own research. I haven't messed with this phone in months.It's pretty much a lost cause even though I have it running ok now.There is no NFC no matter what the box says,battery life is non-existent(unless you buy an OEM S4 i9300 battery) and the WIFI is weak at best.You can however get GPS working correctly if you research it.It is really just an inferior device.I bought it on accident I got scammed buying a Samsung S4.I never would of wasted my money on this P.O.S. same here, I got scammed too, I tried to change the Rom hoping that it would improve the battery life, but no matter which mt6577 based Rom I install, none of them can drive the LCD, therefore I have no picture on the screen, all I have is some dots, but the phone works, I get phone calls and all, that's why I was asking, which one did you get, bc after trying more than 6 Roms I still can't find one that can drive the LCD.

I have the original rom still on mine. I tried several and none of them worked. I even tried building my own. I froze all the apps I could and changed the launcher to nova. In your case I'm afraid it's probably not the rom causing the lcd to not work. My guess is your lcd either **** the bed or if you are lucky maybe just the ribbon connecting the lcd to the motherboard inside came dislodged somehow. (highly unlikely but possible)

I can definitely confirm these battery issues and the WLAN having a low range (to put it mildly). Ok... some bluetooth problems as well...
Anyway I'm using this phone for a second SIM.
Even it sounds like you've stopped investigating about this phone: did you stumble on any news?
Is it really possible to install a ClockworkRecovery to that particular HDC 9500 MTK6577 Dual core phone without causing a brick?
(E.g. with MTK Droid Root & Tools?)

I've got the same problem, I havent rooted my phone, I did the update this evening and now it wont move past the samsung s6 edge logo... I have tried a soft reset and it just goes to the logo again. I have got to a screen to add an firmware, but im on a mac and a noob and not sure what to do, any ideas?? I do have 925f though
I ended up fixing it using smart switch.
First i had to soft reset (power, volume down), then really quickly jump to a full reset (power, home, volume up). I then plugged it into smart switch and did the emergency recovery option. it took about an hour but im back!

If the solution of @ashtemple doesn't work for you, then download a stock firmware for your device model, and flash it via Odin.

i cant determine sir if it is brick or bootloop but one thing is for sure it is stocked on Samsung Logo. i was rooting my phone sir via kingroot. the root was a success but the SuperSU binary failed to update so i install and run SuperSUme. after the process i rebooted it because it says so, and that were the problem started sir. i think ROMs are available. but the device cannot be putted on Download Mode for Odin, id already tried it sir. i dont have any reference left sir. please, please, please help me sir... i cant determine sir if it is brick or bootloop but one thing is for sure it is stocked on Samsung Logo. i was rooting my phone sir via kingroot. the root was a success but the SuperSU binary failed to update so i install and run SuperSUme. after the process i rebooted it because it says so, and that were the problem started sir. i think ROMs are available. but the device cannot be putted on Download Mode for Odin, id already tried it sir. i dont have any reference left sir. please, please, please help me sir... I had a clone s4 some time ago called No1 S6, after some time its internal sd card got broken... i do not recommend it to root and flash custom rom to that phones.
it had an mtk6582 which was a midrange SoC while that now its one of the crappiest chipsets..
however, clone mediatek phones do not have a "download mode", so odin does not work as well
You need to get the real name of the phone, i think there was a youtuber who reviewed a clone galaxy a9 his youtubechannel name was "mayiandjay" you could contact him via email for the devices name.
Then search on needrom.com for a rom for that phone and flash it via SP flashtool. When flashing a rom to a mtk phone with spflashtool the phone just needs to be turned off, no need to get into any mode ;
