Your in the right forum. Yes ,this has been available for a while now. Its a great thing to have ! Also, if you have a Xbox One and click on "media output" in settings you can cast right to it as well.

They will probably declare bankruptcy soon but they do have a nice Netflix type deal which they let you rent both movies and games through the mail. I am interested in the game option since it appears to be cheaper than Gamefly or any of the other mail-rental game businesses.

lol... good Q... I think netflix shut them down... and stream what videos.. its 3g... at least on 4g the videos are HQ like u would see on wifi... on 3g its gona be blurry as a crap... so why would u pay money to watch a movie that will be chopped need buffering all the time and low quality?
the blockbuster app is coded to look for fascinate software, could be a simple build.prop edit but I doubt it. It looks for something that tells the app the phone is a fascinate. Disable the app to not look for a device i.d and it might work
the blockbuster app is overpriced crap. Just wait for MediaHub.

Seagate GoFlex Satellite 500gb Wifi Hard Drive

Has anyone got their hands on this?

I'm wondering how well it plays with our Evos. There is also an android app released for it.
Yep we sell em at best buy all the time and I was able to snag one with accomedations through my job. Its amazing how easy it works and you can stream right off your hard drive to your phone. Just turn it on, creates its own hotspot and you connect to it. Its great.

that's great, the comments I've been reading on Amazon are generally negative, they all complain how the iOS app is nothing but a giant alphabetical list of all the music and other media, not divided into albums or artists etc.
How good is the Android app? I'm mainly interested in stock music and video apps on Evo, can they connect to this drive seamlessly and fluently? Does it appear like a network server to them?
well download the app and get a work around it. The interface isn't as clean as I'd like, but it gets the job done. You actually turn it on and then connect to it through your networks settings like your connecting to a network. With most things it'll download for a second to stream but then play right off the hard drive.

Saw it the other day and realized that with real use, the battery is probably going to be toast in under 3 hours....
i just got one of these. the battery lasts pretty well so far. the best thing about it by miles though is that it's built from a tiny linux server running on an omap3 cpu.
you know what that means right?
i'll give you a clue.

I had one of these for exactly one day. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it would not. At the time I was using an Acer tablet that had a USB port, so I didnt really need it anyway.
But I will say that it worked horribly for me.
I've been wanting the air stash, uses SD cards and is pocketable(size of a flash drive)

I'm dumb. What does that mean for us exactly? Can we mod it and creat custom operating systems for it?

New Hulu and CM7 Beta

Just an FYI, the new Hulu app mentioned on the XDA front page works beautifully with CM7.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1449110
So if you download it straight from the market it wont work?

Thats weird seeing as they have the "Motorola X2" Listed under compatible devices. I havent been a big Hulu watcher but maybe I'll give this a try.
market version works great for me, but I have hulu plus
wish HDMI-out worked though
installed and went to watch from free gallery and just buffered forever and said network error.
more specific it said it appears u have network issues try again later.

you on wifi?
when I'm on 3G mine will sometimes get stuck like that, especially if I try to fiddle with the video quality. After I've touched that setting even if its set at low it gives me grief.
What does Hulu do? Thanks!

JS, I have to admit I made this post prematurely. I didn't realize this hulu.apk did NOT include the hex fix which allows full free viewing via the web browser.
For some reason, I was under the impression that this application provided that fix as well as providing the Hulu client.

Huli is an online TV show/movie streaming website. They have a lot of shows and movies. But they are going down hill. Too much stuff on their site is going to hulu plus. Regular Hulu is free but has ever growing commercials, hulu plus you pay for. Its basically YouTube for TV and movies but with more commercials and you pay for a lot of stuff :/
It was a great service in the beginning, but they were loosing money and needed some way to stay afloat
Check out hulu.com

This was there plan all along. You build the fanbase then slowly make features a premium service. Some shows have only 3 free episodes. They may only post just that weeks show in the future.

I thought it was that they kept paying the companies to stream their shows. I used megavideo after they put 8 or 10 commercials in each show and started doing hulu plus. But now I can't use megavideo either :/

New (Maybe) Motorola Phone on Sprint!?

Move this if posted on the wrong place.
Hello everyone! Well I have something interesting for you all! I went to the movie theater and before the movie started, this commercial played:
Here is a link to the page before you get to see the video (it requires Facebook log in):
http://dream.sprint.com/?sms_id=7178cf789e9b800f1d597de44af3130b48c443da&key=88NVT
Or here is the video on Youtube for those who does not want to log in or have Facebook:

To me it looks like a Motorola Droid setting. What do you guys think this could turn out to be? New Photon 4G LTE or other phone? Let me know what you think!
Hmm... intriguing...
Just watched it...made no sense....even for a phone trailer (if that's what it is) it's the most vague trailer I've ever seen...

I know it is very vague but very interesting.
We just have to wait for more information about the mysterious phone

Ok I actually found this on youtube and it looks like it is just a commercial. :'(
Here is the link to the production of the video:

So, I guess that we would not have any new phone confirmations yet.

HBO GO on the HTC One?

How is the HBO's streaming service on your HTC One? For some reason or another, the highest streaming quality I can attain is 480p. Why is this? My Internet is strong, my brother's iPhone outputs 720p, yet I'm stuck with poorer quality.
Can anyone else who has HBO GO comment on the streaming quality on their device? I'd to really like to know if it's an isolated issue or widespread.

Good question. I'm not sure but the quality is downright poor. It's odd because other apps like Hulu stream in HD fine.

Not that it matters for as I cant even login to HBO Go, MAX GO works just fine....wth
Mine seems ok as u can see from the screen shot I tried to get here...but it can get blocky at times I noticed...but for the most part it's fairly clear....if u look at the app page in play store seems like there are a lot of complaints about how the app is bad lately....maybe there's something wrong in general....
