I want to share with you what I have been working on for the past month or so, trying to theme and give a taste of KitKat.
Majority of the graphics used throughout were directly taken from Z2.

I got Bootloop on logo when i put the kkFramework, you know why?
I have tested all these files on JellyDream Z1 ROM which was based on .13 firmware.
Framework is very cool!!
But some Apps like Xposed/Module and Settings/Apps always fc's.
Do you know how to.fix this problem?

For me, Settings or the Xposed app don't FC. I will try to upload my Settings.apk, android.policy.jar, and services.jar. We will see if it solves your FC issues. :good:

im pretty sure you need to find a line where the color is reading off the color apk i forgot the name but it the color theme apk where the z1 framework or theme gets it color

take a look at ToolsMain.smali look for "colorize" don't remeber the line, but if I have time i'll do it for you

This file has transparent effects and transitions effects and looks differents but if you say they are equal I erase the thread.
sorry, it's just that I'm using the Aeon mod and for me are not the same framework-res.apk
the base file I took was a port of JB. I modify and change some lines in this file. I never based on aeon mod.

Its different, this has transparency good work, but I feel that this looks the same as framework in Pureness Rom of thilinac, anyway good job.

Works with aeons lockscreen, like the overscroll color, animations very nice, even the status bar ones!
And it seems to have made my phone a bit zippier, but it could be just having a good day.
Brill. I recommend anyone to try this. I used stock copy btw no on-screen buttons.

1. Download the attached SkyfallTheme.apk and push it to /system/vendor/overlay/framework and set permission to 644
2. Reboot the device and use the Skyfall theme from theme manager. This is important or you'll have FCs.
3. Download the HDPI_BMT_XP12_by_BanorBhai.zip file and flash it using CWM/
4. Enjoy!

only those themes that comes preinstalled... :crying:

I have not heard about the amber theme. If you are talking about porting, I need permission from the creator of that theme.

I've tested Silk theme by replacing apk with Root Explorer (and setting the permissions)
Unfortunately Sola's theme manager crushes after that.
Does resolution matter? Sola is 854x480...
Or installing SkyFall is required for all your new themes?

Can you tell me what tool did you used to mod your SystemUI.apk ??
I use apk manager 5 and holoxperia tool by chotu22 to decompile and compile my SytemUI.apk , its successfully compiled but why did the size of the apk decreased extremely, around 100-300kb, although im just edit the xml and make the statusbar_background.png transparent?
and yes my modded SystemUI.apk wont work, when im install it, and reboot the phone, the statusbar gone, and the device UI become fullscreen without statusbar.
I use windows 8, and i've installed the framework-res.apk correctly.

^^ i did that of course... but keyboard/conversations don't have to do anything with menues Oo
btw, reboot helped, but "quicksettings" smybols in pull-down-menue not working (only the "settings shortcut" smybol changed")
where in settings is the option to change the theme color? (last one of your screenshots)

To proper work this theme needs a patched services.jar. And you are running full stock with only root and some small tweaks.
To fully use this theme either apply Superusermod (see link in OP) or go to existenze rom

I really like this theme, but probably i'm too stock for making it works good
everything works but only two toggles, brightness and settings have themed icons..
i'm on stock .201 with superuser mod from serajr xperia xposed, odex.
i like the navbar and the accent color is perfect for reading sms (stock blue is too bright imo).. so thank you anyway
can you make a version with no status bar mod? Just kidding but...

Picture of the settings menu shows its gone black yet the in call UI has remained stock standard. It is the only element that has not changed.
