This fell into my lap during frist time assembly. Can anyone give me a pointer?

It has fallen off the slot where the charger plugs in. It sits on the back part of the case and helps it's quite self evident how it fits due to the curve. My one did exactly the same

Can it go back once it comes out or do you throw it away?
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

It will go back in easily. I held it in with a few drops of CA and accelerator/kicker.. Never to come undone again..
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

HaHa It took me a while to figure it out too. When I popped the two half apart it fell on the floor. I thought I broke it, but I finally figured it out. It fits like a Lego piece I think.

Heh I threw it away didn't know what it was.

I hate when i buy something new and something falls off... sadly, i usually throw it away too after a very small amount trying to identify the piece.

Just got a free SGP Tempered glass SP

I just got a free tempered glass screen protector! I had one of the sp that came with the sgp rubber cases. And it started to peel. So I contacted them, and they said they would send me a replacement. Well I check my mail 2 days later I get this. Which is today when I got it! I can't believe they sent me this for free!

It's good to know there are companies that care about their user-base and do things like that. If every company was like that, the world would rock!

Yea. That was very nice of them. How do I put this thing on? Lol
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Its actually very easy. Before you actually lay it down be sure you have the ear puece hole and bevels lined up. Lay it down and apply medium pressure with one finger in the center and watch it adhere. Be sure the surface is clean as can be before yoh apply it and wash your hands

What is this portion of the phone considered?

I'm looking to replace the back cover, housing, and whatever this circled portion is called. Anyone know? I've looked at the mid-frame and it's not it. The raised lip of it.

The earpiece?
Edit: just looked and i think its part of the screen housing which is attached to the digitizer.

Look up i717 housing on ebay man......btw i seen u post in the skyrocket forums.....mind if i ask how much u got ur note for?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Oh maybe I read it wrong. I thought it was actually apart of the digitizer, and those aren't looking pocket friendly.
Yeah I was looking at getting a broken one and fixing it but passed on it. I got my note for $225. Already unlocked, in the box. Could use a back cover, the housing. The phone looks great, but I'm just picky.
Ah crap. Looks like I'll have the remove the screen from that section via a heat gun. Oh well.
Yea that's a pretty good deal......and for the housing part.....getting that digitizer separated is going to be a b***h even with a heat gun.....
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Yeah it wasn't too bad. Since I plan on keeping this one, I'll most likely just get a a case for it and call it a day.

Methods of cleaning back?

the back of the DNA is by far the hardest piece of tech to clean (at least for me). No matter what i try, the back just always stains. Any methods to get the back clean?

No matter how many times you clean it, its going to get greasy again. I just use baby wipes, though.

Unfortunately, i still have the Verizon argyle TPU, and it leaves the diamond marks on the back. usually around once a week or so (or more often) i dampen a towel or wash cloth and add a little hand soap. i scrub the back a little bit, and it takes away the argyle marks along with any residue (i use my phone a lot without the case)
I also have the marks on the back from Verizon's case, but I think it looks cool since it's unique as phuck.

haha.. thought I was the only one who used baby wipes.
They do work better than anything else though.
I use a microfiber cloth and a dab of rubbing alcohol.
I am so glad that HTC decided to go glossy on the Butterfly and especially glad on the Silver/White version ... cant see any scratch/smudges at all ... You can see the pattern where light is relfecting..

When the pictures of the J Butterfly were released I was hoping VZ would do the DNA in white. So sexy..
just use regular alcohol wipes, the same kind you would use for the screen.

What, no Gremlin or Furby?
That bear actually looks sorta/kinda like both.
I picked a bad week to skip the antipsychotics.

Haha now if only the top of the head unzipped to put money and keys in it, it would be the complete package. Thats real innovation
i look closely and it seems like a teddy bear with a regular case glued to the back.. poor teddy bear.

The link that you posted above to on eBay, is a unofficial knock off seller! The company that makes the real ones are iPlush and currently are only selling them on Amazon.

Only the Brown/White teddy bears fit the Note2/3. I purchased one of the Panda ones, and it was much too small for the Note2. Also the cases cover up the camera on the back.

The teddy bear is actually sewn into the case. Lol. The part that the phone slips into is part of the fabric that the plush is made up of. There is no plastic/hard case that protects the phone. The panda case I bought was large enough for a S4.

I damaged my s3

Hello everyone.
Now I have caused my mobile phone on the ground and I have broken screen, but I can touch control everything and the colors in which sound, only damage that I see is to break the screen. So what I'm doing, and that requires me how much it costs the price?
Thank you for all

Replace the glass.. Or glass & digitizer.. You can do it yourself or get it done in the service center.. Maximum cost should be somewhere around 100 usd

I did the same thing. Sold my S3 and I'm a little sorry I did. GG is a gimmick and any other glass will do just the same.
If you are replacing the screen, could you take pics step by step? Because my girlfriend has the same problem and I am going to fix her screen so this would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
