There is no tick option!

[Q] Is there a way to change the keytap sound of CM7?

IS there a way to change the keytap sound? The one that comes with CM7 sounds like a typewriter.

That's how you activate the sound. I was asking if there was a way to change the sound. The current one is too tinny. I prefer the way the stock keyboard 'sounded'.

Well, then you need to overwrite it with something less "tinny". Seriously, get a better keyboard which makes this configurable.

Thanks. I've yet to see a third party keyboard that can adjust the actual sound of the keytap and not just the volume.
Ummmmm....there is most certainly a way to change this...use root explorer and go to system/media/audio/ui and all the UI sounds are listed under there, just replace keypressstandard.ogg....im sure it would need to replaced with another .ogg file format.

Yes there is smartkeyboard gives you four sounds to choose from...and there pretty good . They have android the original one ... which you want .. iPhone,galaxy and wp7

im on cm10 paranoid 4.1.2 everytime when i wanna increase my ringtone volume with the volume rocker when it stops there is always the sound that comes out.. any idea how do i remove it?

Goto /System/media/audio/ui & remove TW_Volume_control.ogg

Hmm, ok so just listens all the .ogg files with music player. If you found one which matches your remove it!

I forgot the recompiling and installing part, thought that was obvious though.

Whatsapp>Menu>Settings>Notifications>pick one>Done>back>back>do what ever you want

not this one man that option will change the notification sound when u receive message while your not using whatsapp, but there is a sound that show up when your instantly chatting with someone... did you understand the point

Yes it is hearing Aids.Setting>call settings and uncheck hearing aids to remove it

it was avaliable in AndroPlus kernel but it was remeoved because it wasnt greatly made.
