Creating Audio For Applications - Other Operating Systems and Languages

Well I see no place set aside for discussion of audio when it comes to the Dev of an app/game so I figured I would just toss this in the "Other" board. If any of you are creating games or apps for which you require some assistance with your audio, send me a shout and perhaps I can be of some help.

Looking for a music player with specifics features

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place but I have been looking for a while and I think this is where I should post. I have been looking for a good music player, and Google Play Music is one of the best for me. It has Bass booster and 3D effect. But has a big problem: it doesn't support gapless. I would understand that in streaming (and even there it would be easily fixable), but not with offline music.
So I have been trying some other music apps, and I think PowerAmp is the best. But it doesn't have 3D effect, and the Bass boost is different. I think I like more the GMusic one...
So, is there an app with Bass boost and 3D effect like GMusic but also with the gapless feature?
Thanks.
You can just use a good sound manager to get the effects how you like. I'd recommend Sound FX for working specifically with Google Music. MIUI V4's built in DSP Manager is golden.
But Google Music has the gapless issue...
Go for player pro

Google music is useless
Actually I find the sound very good, and it's very useful to have all my music online and listen to it via wifi or download for an offline usage.
Still with the doubt, can someone help me?

Use real player ..
Gone mad music player
Has real player the features I'm looking for?
I know bumping is not allowed, but, what can I do when my post goes to page 2 or 3 after just minutes of its creation?

Just don't bump it too often, or for too long, and no-one will have any issues. Daily is polite enough, and if you've not got the answer you want after a week then you're probably not going to get it and I'd suggest going back to Google, or finding something else you want to improve
Also, the above suggestions are to use separate music player and equaliser apps. Have you tried that?
Have you tried PlayerPro?
It's got gapless playback.

But I mean, if I post something and five minutes later the post is on the third page, I can only think that no one will ever see my post, because people only look to page one, right?

I tryed it, but I couldn't activate gapless playback and bass & 3d effects at the same time.
PlayerPro solves the issue.

No. The threads don't generally move that fast (there's currently 5 hours on the first page). Also, the more enthusiastic members are the ones that are more likely to be able to answer questions, and they don't just look at the first page.
There's no rule about bumping, but what I gave you was a general idea about the polite etiquette. If I see a thread being bumped too much I tend to delete the bumps, and the thread goes back to where it was. It's not a forum to answer your questions. It's a development forum where developers come to discuss and release software. You can't come here and expect answers. Just be patient and you'll find what you need
Got it!

[Q] Can someone help me extract music from Mushroom Wars?

So here's the deal, I love a certain soundtrack on Mushroom Wars.
Someone uploaded a version of it from the PS3 version [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY54xegYEX4 ] but it seems the audio's been compressed by youtube. If possible I want to get the .ogg or whatever native format it's in, un-truncated.
So I've taken the .apk [ uploaded it here https://www.mediafire.com/?7vih6xsb0murslz ] and unzipped it and found ./assets/sound2/ which is about 11MB. I sorted by the highest size, and it shows several soundtracks, but none of them is the right one. The rest are short sound effects.
I know for a fact that the music has played on a multiplayer mode, on my tablet a couple weeks or months back. [I checked thenk, but same as now, couldn't find it].
If anyone can show me where the music file is or upload it, that would be great.

If you can record it with your phone and post that, I can get a high quality version (via ps3) if that helps?

No, it doesn't really help because I never know when the soundtrack will come on [it's somewhat random which track will play, depending on the map, which is also random]. Even then, it would have game sound effects mixed in, and I just want the raw track.
I just cannot figure out where they are hiding that specific track, or why they would try to do it. The others are easily found but I'm still drawing a blank why they [Mushroom wars developers] would do that.

I was going thru the files (thanks for the apk) and noticed that on the music tracks, they're long and have like 10 songs in each track (or something like that). Basically, it's like 1 long file and every minute or so there's a new sound track in the file. Did you listen to all of them?
I swear that on PS3 there's a "CHICKIE" sound effect and in the apk I only found a "Chingie" sounding thing. I'm gonna have to play it on the PS3 and get the sound I heard cuz I want it for a notification tone
EDIT:
Also, as for recording it, if you can get at least a 10 second snippet of the 'track' you want, I'm willing to hunt thru the apk for it. Wouldn't hurt, right?
i have found some soundtracks of mushroom wars on SOUNDCLOUD.

[Q] I need help find an app that can cue tracks

Is there any apps on and off the market that can make it possible for me to insert cues on the songs in my phone and if available would it allow me to put cued songs together in a playlist?
I've done a little search through the play store but didn't find anything or maybe I missed something on there but anyways if anyone can help that would be appreciated. :fingers-crossed:

Record internal audio [HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro]?

Hey there,
as you probably know, it's forbidden by google to include a function to an app to record the internal sound. That's the reason why all audio/video-recorder-apps (like AZ Screen Recorder) only allow to record the microphone(s).
Is there anyway a solution to record the internal sound, for example with a cable? But only the digital way via USB(-C) and not the analog way with the phone jack which causes side noises! Do I need a special OTG-Cable?
If I connect the original USB-C-Cable to my pc nothing happens really.
In the dev options in the android settings I can de/activate the usb-audiorouting (but I can see no changes)
I also can choose 'audiosource' in the usb-config. If I plugin then to my computer, there is no new 'microphone' in the audio settings. In the device manager the BLA-L29 is listed, but the drivers are marked as corrupt.
Can somebody help me to finally have the power to record the internal sound? Thank you!
Perhaps try a Bluetooth recorder? I came across this after a 5-second web search; I'm sure that with a little more effort you could find many more varieties.

Well, maybe you invest next time 5 seconds more on reading my question(s). Your reply is nothing I've asked for.
And I already searched HOURS for a good solution, but without success so far.

If the answers you're getting aren't to your liking, you're obviously asking the wrong question. Good luck.

Update: Huawei Mate 10 Pro Screen Record with Audio
Hi
I'm a Streamer and mobile Gamer, Just updated to Official Stable Android 9 on my Mate 10 pro and they actually provided a new screen recorder that can record internal audio but..
Here is the issue i'm facing :
1) When using the screen recording app and i turn the microphone off i'm able to record system sounds on any app and while its recording ,however the speaker sound is turned off so you wont hear anything until you stop the screen record. Also if you enable the mic the screen recorder app will record audio from your mic
I hope this could help Devs to take a close look at this , all we want is that to use a screen recorder which records System audio and mic just like the IPhone to allow us to stream our games to platforms like Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, Omlet Arcade without buying a IPhone .
I understand google bans devs from accessing this API : Internal Audio, but what if Huawei just develop a app like Samsung Game Launcher where only games and Streaming apps like Twitch, Youtube, Facebook Live, Omlet Arcade are allowed to access the Internet Audio Recording Function?
And BTW to all those trolls , we not requesting bloatware its a just a simple screen recorder or a Gaming Suite/Launcher app for our Mobile Gaming Community
Regards

App for running/jogging/cycling/distance tracking with customizable audio feedback?

There are lots of Android apps designed to help track distance/time/speed when running, jogging, cycling, etc., and a lot of them provide audio feedback or "coaching" of some kind.
Are there any such apps that would allow me to use my own custom audio files as part of the feedback? I would love to get my best friend screaming at me when I run too slowly, for example.
Sorry if this is a duplicate, please let me know if I should restructure or move this question.
